The service was perfect the food was outstanding and good portion the service was on spot and it's got an oldies look to the inside which made it feel really different and it was nice I have nothing but good things to say and will definitely be returning so I highly recommend this place if your looking to take the family out for breakfast lunch or dinner or your partner or if you simply want to eat alone but must try thanks.

Best old fashioned, Mom & Pop diner in the area! We go for breakfast often and recommend the Original Eggs Benedict or the Eggs Benny Poutine. Don’t oversee their lunch menu though, their Turkey Club sando is awesome. Add a milkshake to share for the cherry on top of your meal!

I live in Toronto so coming to Flashback is always a really wonderful treat for me. I try to go every chance I can when I’m in Barrie.

The food is incredible and you get so much for such a great price! The all day breakfast is my go-to and the pancakes they come with are incredible but they have such a vast menu there will be something for everyone!

The staff are super friendly and incredibly attentive. If you’re in Barrie and looking for a great place to eat this is the spot for you.

Buffalo chicken wrap should be made with grilled chicken. Chicken was too hard. Eggs benedict were great and classic eggs were great. Service was great. She was very friendly and efficient

This was my first time visiting Flashback and has become my absolute favourite breakfast spot in Barrie. The food was fantastic and was delighted with my meal! Servers were also great and efficient, happy and polite. Olivia served us and made sure to accommodate to our needs and made our first visit a great one. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in.

Looove flashback diners eggs Benedict. It is my go to spot for now on! I also love the atmosphere inside the diner with it being a blast from the past!

Flashback is the go to place for a fantastic breakfast! The food is delicious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is super friendly.

The must-try item is definitely the blueberry pancakes, they are fluffy, yummy and generously topped with fresh blueberries.

My first visit to this place and I was not disappointed, since covid quality has dropped for many breakfast places but not this one. I mean just for the bacon alone my God it is soo damn good, as the lovely young woman said " bacon should be smoked " she was not wrong om nom nom nom delicious. I will definitely be stopping by again in the future. Just off the 400 on Bayfield great location for you cottage goers just saying.

We often come for the breakfast which is great. Getting here a little later today, I opted for the burger.it was fantastic.it's always good food, service and price here.

The Flashback diner is a true gem In the over abundance of fast food franchises on Bayfield Street. The food was delicious and wholesome. Reminds me of my childhood memories of having breakfast at Grandmothers. The 50 tunes in the background brought back memories. The wait staff, are welcoming and passionate about their work. I highly recommend this establishment.

Eggs Benedict was awesome! Lots of food. Great service.great prices. I definitely would recommend this place.

I love this place, been going here for years with my sister and parents. Best breakfast in town! Specifically the Cadillac combo (because it’s massive)

Also the coffee is very underrated

Honestly, this has got to be my all time favourite restaurant ever. I have been coming here since I was a child and in my opinion nothing beats it. The food is impeccable, the prices are still very reasonable and the staff are extremely accommodating and very friendly!

My friend and I had the pleasure of having Darlene for our waitress and she was phenomenal, she even topped off my waffles with extra toppings!

I got a ham and cheese 4 egg omelet and topped it off with my waffle after for dessert. Was so satisfying!

(Sorry about the half eaten waffle, I couldn’t wait hahaha)

Food was absolutely delicious, only downfall was portions were too big.
Food was served fast and while still hot, staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely highly recommended, as you/we will come back every time we’re back in the area.
