We had Flatout Flooring install the backsplash in our kitchen and we couldn't be happier. I was very impressed with the assistance in the store and up to installation. They were always quick to respond and very professional. We had a herringbone pattern done which takes some extra effort and detail and it was done beautifully. They even came back to fix a cap piece that was loose. They were very careful with our kitchen, keeping everything covered while they worked. Highly recommend!

A huge appreciation goes to Flatout Flooring for being part of our Main floor renovations this year! The staff were so incredibly helpful in assisting us decide on flooring throughout our entire main floor along with a large tile statement wall in the kitchen. I trusted their opinions and recommendations and it turned out beautifully! The communication and timely delivery was also great too.

I just want to give a shout out to Flatout Flooring for installing our Luxury Vinyl plank in our kitchen. They did an amazing job. Agata explained all of our options for our kitchen floor and helped set up all of our appointments. Tom came out to measure and suggested a different colour than what we had chosen since he felt it’s a better match. So glad we followed his suggestion.

Zach and his helper laid the flooring so fast and efficiently and then Sam did the trim work the next day. Their work demonstrated excellent detail and precision. I also wanted some carpeting repaired which Tyler came at 5: 30pm on a Friday night to do so. He fixed our carpet in absolutely no time. The employees at Flatout Flooring are top notch bc they are experts in their areas. My neighbour also ended up using them bc I was raving about their work. We will definitely be using Flatout Flooring again to replace carpeting and refinishing our floors when are ready.
I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to have your flooring done. You will not be disappointed.

From our initial inspection, we knew we’d found the right person for the job.
Hugo explained the process thoroughly and his many years experience refinishing hardwood floors have given us an outstanding finished product!
We were concerned we’d have to remove our baseboards (wide solid oak) and the idea of this seemed impossible without making a huge mess.
Hugo assured us it wasn’t necessary and he was right! The floors look amazing right up to the baseboard.

Our floors had that annoying groove between the strips that constantly trapped dirt.
No more! Finished product is smooth and perfect!

From the beginning, the team at Flatout Flooring were incredible to work with. I had an at home quote done by Liz Smith and she was very attentive and knowledgeable in what I wanted to accomplish with my floors. I was able to visit the showroom where Liz also helped me find the perfect stain. Both Hugo and Aiden were amazing. Hugo was the main person who worked on my floor. Great customer, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I can’t rave enough about his work and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I will definitely be contacting them again for future work.

There is a good reason why Flatout Flooring has received so many awards for excellence. They removed our old ruined squeaky floors, and installed a new sub-floor and vinyl planking. They perfectly finished off all of the areas that required special attention to detail (like the edging around the fireplace hearth and curved stair landing, the intricate doorway moldings, the old vents that needed to be reduced in size to accommodate new vents, and covering our old basement stairs). Despite our old walls being neither square or straight, they managed to get the planks to line up flawlessly straight - and join up on either end of the central wall! At the end of every day they cleaned up. From start to finish, everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, and the workmen were highly skilled. Thank you Flatout Flooring for a challenging job well done!

Flatout flooring has a beautiful showroom and beautiful products. We had help picking out tile for our shower from Agata and she is amazing! She maintained excellent communication and made sure our order was correct and in our hands quickly. I had a great experience and will be ordering more from Flatout Flooring in the future. After investing a large amount of money renovating my father's house, the floors started to squeak. Thank goodness Flatout Flooring came to the rescue, removed, repaired, help fix the problem, got the job done within a day and ontime before our move.

I truly can't say enough good things about James at Flatout Flooring! I was installing a beveled tile which is very difficult to work with, and James made it look easy. He was professional, had such attention to detail, and installed everything exactly how I envisioned. Amazing guy and amazing work! We just had our maple floors refinished June 2019. The crew was professional, meticulous, hard working, and clean. The floors turned out amazing and changed the whole look of our house for the better. We would use Flatout again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them. Really appreciate the customer service from the office staff and can't say enough good things about the two gentlemen they sent to refinish the floors.

The crew was great (obviously very experienced) and did a fantastic job refinishing my old floors. And, Liz Smith was so helpful in working with me to choose the right stain color to match the age of my house (1931) and later talking me through my last-minute decision panic! The grain of the wood just jumps out, and I love it. I felt very supported and could not be happier with the results.

Installed tiles and hardwood for me, the tile installation was very good, the hardwood installation was exceptional, wow! The price was very competitive, would use them again and recommend them to others.

Flatout Flooring did a great job refinishing the strip oak flooring in my victorian home. They came to work on time and finished the work on schedule and on budget. I am always a bit picky about who I let work on my house and the quality that I expect, but Flatout Flooring met my expectations fully - I am very happy with the results.
