Florence Dentistry

I've been a client for a decade, but lately, there have been consistent last-minute cancellations of my appointments. My cleaning was canceled without prior notice, resulting in a wasted half-hour drive. Furthermore, my extraction appointment was canceled with the excuse of lacking the necessary tools. This reflects a significant lack of organization, poor management, and subpar dental services. What's more concerning is the absence of apologies for these frequent cancellations. Regrettably, I've decided to discontinue using their services.

The staff, hygienists and Dr. Tanya are all wonderful, professional and put patients’ comfort first. Would highly recommend!

You'll get the best services at Florence Dentistry and you can have a real smile on your face. I'm very pleased with the appointment reminder that helps to make your appointments on time.

If I could leave 0 I would. Condescending, overcharges patients, false promises & expectations. They try to catch you on any little thing to charge you more and their fees are ridiculous. The people talk to you nice while they’re adding more things to your bill, NOT recommended.

Never come here, especially without dental insurance. There are many better practitioners, and even more so who actually care.

Dr. Awada is probably the best dentist I've ever had so far. He always does such a great job, very detailed oriented, kind and caring with his patients. I would highly recommend him.

I went here for a cavity and had no issues whatsoever. I was a little worried because of some of the reviews on here but I am happy that I chose Florence Dentistry. The reception welcomed me and walked me through the process. The dentist was caring and professional, taking their time to properly find the source of my pain, then delicately and meticulously resolve it. Recommend

I'm so happy I found Dr. Tanya Mohammed. She is friendly and very efficient in the work she does. All the staff is helpful and courteous.
Dr. Mohammed repaired my partial plates and I'm able to smile and chew properly. Thank you to all the staff and especially Dr. Tanya Mohammed.

I left confused and in tears

I don't often post reviews, but I have been so impressed with the service offered at Florence Dentistry that I had needed to - actively - recommend them to any possible future clients. Dr. Dragoi was not satisfied with my previous crown and encouraged me to get a better one. My tooth situation was complex due to the colour, but she made all the necessary arrangements throughout the complicated process. Such as:
(a) Seeing me multiple times (even exceptionally on days she wasn't scheduled to work, to fit my schedule) ;
(b) Being in constant communication with the dental lab (getting them to remake the crown and even getting the lab assistant to come by during the cementing of the crown to make sure that the shade and shape of the new crown were perfect) ; and
(c) Even voiding professional costs associated with the procedure.
I am so happy with the result. Throughout the whole experience, both her, Josee and the entire team were incredibly kind, thoughtful and supportive, giving me their honest feedback and quickly fixing any issues I had. Best client service experience I have ever had in my life.

Highly recommend! Dr. Lysik is very experienced and always a pleasant experience visiting this clinic.

In a basic checkup Dr. Dragoi told me I had a cavity that needed filling. During the following botched procedure she somehow managed to mangle the tooth, resulting in extreme pain for a month afterward. When I went to see the senior dentist in the office to fix the problem, she told me she couldn’t see any issues and basically told me to rub sensodyne on it for a few weeks. Covid hit, and I haven’t been able to eat properly for 3 months. Finally going to see another dentist now. Worst experience ever.

Follow up:
My new dentist was easily able to discover a crack in the tooth, which Dr. Dragoi either caused or misdiagnosed. Pretty bad that neither of the two dentists who I saw at Florence Dentistry were able to properly diagnose or fix the real problem.

This is a great place to go! Everyone was very professional and providing with solutions by priority. Definitely recommending it!

It was my first Visit at Florence Dentistry and I was pleasantly surprised. I was welcomed and treated very nicely by the staff. The whole dentistry seemed freshly renovated and clean which is nice to see during this world pandemic, even the bathroom was spotless which is a trick of mine to know if I made a right decision while picking a business of any sort. My dentist was Dr Lysik (Hopefully I spelled it right) and she was caring and passionate about everything. She would even give me tips on how to avoid coming to the dentist as often in order to save money which shows how decent of a human being she is. Long story short, I will be back, and I highly recommend this Dentistry.

here in my opinion. The dentist should probably go back to dentist school.
DO NOT GO HERE!

I used to go here. I was fairly happy with my care and the hygienists were always good. I did not know who my dentist even after 2-3 years because it was somebody different every time. I realized afterward my fillings were poorly done. I had one fall out and had to be redone within 1 year (also done at Florence Dentistry). They were always jagged and not smooth with my teeth. Another fell out 1 year later. My new dentist had to redo 2 of them because they were done improperly and plaque was collecting underneath. Florence Dentistry is fine for cleanings and such, but I would not get any other fillings done there.

When I was waiting in the chair to get a filling a dental assistant in training was sitting in the room with me - and no word of a lie - told me she was nervous and that her hands wouldn’t stop shaking. The assistant also told me about how she had a previous complaint from a patient because she shoved the air suction too far down his throat. The receptionists have also screwed up the time of my appointments on several occasions. Going to find another dentist.

I’ve been a client for over 10 years and hands down the best service. Friendly and efficient not to mention the price. Can’t wrap my head around that some dentists are literally overcharging. Not the case with this establishment. Would put a sixth star if I could. Keep up the good work

All personnel was very attentive and professional. Very clean and modern office. Plenty parking on the street in the front of the office. Kind of "started liking to visit my new dentist". Recommended.

Poor experience overall primarily due to the unfriendly receptionist. Dentist and most of other staff are pleasant to deal with.

They accidentally filed the same tooth twice instead of another tooth just a week later. The filing fell out a few months later and they completely missed the cavity when they went to fill the other tooth. I've had nothing but issues since then and was just told to brush with sensodyne instead of fixing my problems.

This is my second time at Florence Dentistry and I'm extremely satisfied with the service. The hygienist was friendly, professional, efficient, informative, and caring. I strongly recommend Florence Dentistry because they care about their patients oral health.

I am modifying my review after the business discussed it with me. They are looking into my concerns. For the record Dr Lysik and Dr Dragoi are fantastic as I've had them both for dental / orthodontic work and same with the hygienists. I am still unhappy with the reception but maybe that will change.

Originalr: Is this place even open anymore? I can never seem to get the receptionist, they never return my voicemails and I have to schedule my own appointments. Quality has gone down.
