Do not recommend! Extremely poor management!
I booked an appointment about a month and a half in advanced to ensure it goes smoothly, a day before my appointment they called and cancelled.their reason was Winnie has to attend a competition and is not available for 2 weeks! Really?
did you just find out she has to attend a competition on the day of?
they did not have the courtesy to let me know when they were notified.poor management

It was my first experience and I am very satisfied with my dog’s grooming. I am surprised that many groomers in my area does not groom long hair pups, I am glad to find this place which does an excellent job. The staff there are attentive and my dog was comfortable there. However, you will need to book in advance as it is quite busy.

The price is too high and very expensive. At first they say a reasonable price and when you want to pick up your pet they do Overcharge like $180, my dog is Bichoon poodle and it's 10 pounds and he's not big but they always charge me $180 so I never get back to them.

My husky had a great experience here for his first bath and deshedding appointment! I was impressed that he was able to do everything here, as I was told he was a difficult dog and wouldn't do anything at two other groomers. He came back so clean and happy. Definitely worth the money for a pleasant experience.

I have taken my dog to Fluffy Spa on and off over the last 5 years and in my opinion it has gone down hill. The last time was the end for me, I will not be returning. I have always tipped and am not cheap with my tipping. I was distracted by something and had forgotten to leave a tip but before I could even correct my mistake the person rudely reminded me to leave a tip. That’s a big NO for me. The same person even told me to put a harness on my dog instead of a standard collar, I do use a harness but use the standard collar when visiting the groomer to actually make it easier for them. The person also told me to take my dog for a walk, I do walk my dog 5 times a day. My dog is 15 and considering that she is actually very healthy and fit. I don’t think I need to take “tips” from anyone on how to take care of my dog, nor do I need to explain our daily schedule to anyone, we’ve been doing just fine so far. My dog is always shaking uncontrollably when we arrive at fluffy spa and I have to physically lift her out of the car, keep in mind she does not do this anywhere else. My dog is always so thirsty when I get her back and I’ve often wondered if they leave water out for the dogs? Furthermore, the price seems to go up quite a bit and after visiting other groomers in the Thornhill/Richmond Hill area, I am paying $15-$20 less than fluffy spa and getting a way better groom done with way better polite service.

*Updated Response* My dogs name is Sandy. I always take my dog to the washroom before dropping her off, your employee told me to walk my dog after the grooming appointment when I had picked her up. If tipping is a choice then why is it even mentioned by your employees, especially to your customers who do ALWAYS tip? Why not just leave the topic alone and wait for a customer to make that choice on their own or for them to correct their own mistakes? I also was not holding my dog in my arms so my hands were free to work your debit machine and I needed no assistance. I would’ve realized on my own that I did not tip and would’ve corrected it. Furthermore, I am very aware that businesses have to raise their rates, I do still pay $15-$20 less at other groomers, maybe they are not “award winners” but they do still have just as good as talents as fluffy spa. I also don’t have to drop off/pick up my dog at other groomers from a back entrance that is filthy, grimy and smells like garbage after paying $100+ for apparent award winning grooming services. Although I do appreciate the offer to call your store to discuss this matter, I will decline as I want nothing from your business. I simply wanted to post my review and let others know how my experience was. It seems your responses to every negative comment is just defending or justifying your bad behaviour instead of taking responsibility for some of your actions.

Great experience here every time my pups visit! They are extremely friendly and take care of my dogs really well. My go to groomers when my dogs need grooming.

Called to book a grooming appointment for my cat, the lady who picked up the phone was very unprofessional, she stared asking about the cat and if she is ok with haircut, bath and nail trimming, I said she hate taking a bath and her nails done, I said if they can skip those services and just do the hair, she is like NO, we have to bath the cat and cut the nails… I said whenever i take her for haircut, they never bath my cat, she is like ok take her to where she took her last time, I was shocked but at the same time it was funny how this lady instructed me what to do

Throughout the years, I've owned multiple pups and the only place I've ever taken them to is Fluffy Spa. With my newest puppy, I couldn't wait until he grew out his coat for his first trim. I know I can always trust them to take care of Mochi and to give him the fluffiest cuts!

I have been taking my dog Milo to the Fluffy Spa for almost 3 years now and have had good experiences for the most part. I will first start by saying that Keith is absolutely amazing with Milo he is a true asset to the Spa. This is not a review on any particular employee because I feel they are all wonderful actually.

My review today is on the lack of communication and poor business practices that the Fluffy Spa exercises when it comes to pricing.

This company has had at least 3-4 price increases in 3 years of $10-15 and for the most part without proper notice. That is not the issue here. My problem is how they have handled the recent $15 increase and the many concocted stories I received as to to why.

I was so happy to receive a call that the Spa would be re-opening after being closed for months due to Covid-19. When I received the call to make an appointment the person I spoke to made an assumption that my dog would have matting and told me I would be looking at approximately $100 before tax due to matting. (The last time I brought him in it was $65 in November 2019) this came as a shock to me but I know I have taken good care of my dog and have been bathing and brushing him at home.

Yesterday May 28th was supposed to be Milo's grooming appointment. I brought him in and the person who greeted me at the door assessed him and said he doesn't actually have matting and looks to be in good condition. Before I left I asked her to make sure and assess him and confirm how much I would need to pay as I did not want any surprises. 10 minutes later I received a call advising me the "prices have gone up" and the new price is $85 plus "my dog is difficult to work on" and will need assistance so there is an additional $15 for someone to help calm him down. It's very convenient that that adds up to the original $100 they quoted me over the phone due to assumed matting.

My issues:
1) They do not list their pricing anywhere and therefore can charge whatever they would like.
2) There is little to no communication when it comes to price increases.
3) This is the first I was told my dog is "difficult to manage" and there would be an additional charge
4) I was not going to mention this BUT in full transparency they had a new person work on my dog and burnt and cut him in multiple locations. They did handle it well by covering his vet bill and offering a free grooming but I am mentioning this now as I am so frustrated with how I am being treated.

Very sad to say, I will not be bringing Milo back here again.

I always make the trip back to this spa even after moving north. They are hands down the best with their styling knowledge and professionalism. My little morkie has never looked better, thank you!

I took my 4 months old poodle Pop Pop to Fluffy’ Spa and it was his first time to do grooming. Wynne (the owner) is professional and caring, she did an amazing job with him. He came home happy after his spa day! Will take him to spa again next week!

This Is the second time I'm taking Leo to fluffy spa and they absolutely amazing! They are very professional and Leo always happy when I pick him up. Highly recommend!

This spa is by far the BEST I've been to! The staff are all really friendly and very knowledgeable, my sweet boy has never looked better! We will definitely be back and will be telling our friends!

You are very STUPID not to know that repeated phone calls is considered harassment. Cell phone harassment is not only illegal and annoying; it is a serious threat to the privacy, sense of security, and personal information. Maybe you don't care about your none Chinese clients so much. But like it or not you in CANADA and must comply with the laws here.

Please take a look at the image attached for the number of times you called me BEFORE my dog even got there. I have no comment about the grooming. You did your job and charged me for it.

Lie About the price based on how they feel about you. I won't go into detail about my experience but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that is more reasonable.

Price is high. The service is poor. They call you the day before to confirm your appointment. However, if there is a gap on their schedule they make you bring your dog over earlier. I was harassed by their repeated phone calls one Sunday during church service. Very disappointed! Will never go back there.

They have the profession groomers and they are doing the best for our dog. Important is they are always cut their hair as we like it! Great job!
