Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park Ottawa

Did not enjoy my experience here! My son and I came on a Tuesday night when it wasn’t busy! We waited at the check-in desk while staff member after staff member was coming and going and we were not acknowledged.finally someone came out to us and helped us check-in. My son is two years old and was not enjoying the trampoline side and ran over to the adventure park side before I was able to catch up to him. I first off was surprised that he was able to just run ahead in there if that’s a separate area with different pricing! There was a bunch of staff members in that area and they were all just “hanging out” having a group chat and I asked them if he could play on this side since it wasn’t busy and he seemed to want to play there more than bounce on the trampolines, they told me I needed the wrist band for that side and now I needed the special socks and in fact I was supposed to already have the socks.this was the first I heard of this since the person at check-in said nothing about the special socks.we had our own personal socks on so I didn’t know this was a thing. My son was already up playing in the structure so I went back to the desk to see about getting the wrist band for that side, and then that person who again took awhile to get off her chair from the back room to come out said bring the child here and I’ll change the wrist band. Trying to get a toddler to come out of a play area was very difficult so I just took his wrist band off and came back out with it. This time it was a different person that spoke with us and then had to look up our reservation…and then was like oh now you have to pay the extra rate. I didn’t have my wallet on me as we had reserved online, and was told that well we had to pay, so no wrist band, although the previous staff member was willing just to switch the wrist bands no problem. I went back to the adventure park side and after some time finally got my child to come down from the structure, and we left. We were there a total of 40 minutes. Maybe I should have read up a little more on the place before coming and understood what the trampoline side entailed and what the adventure park side was about, but I didn’t and I think the staff could have done a better job at making the experience better!

The place is quite good but the staff is so rude, which ruins our day. Never went their again

I brought my four year-old to a birthday party here on a Saturday night. I would say this place is heaven for kids, but it does not seem safe to me. The trampoline floor is large and all age-groups are mixed in together. I observed a 13 year-old girl repeatedly knocking over young children, of about four to five years of age, whilst she played a game of tag with her friends. I watched her do this several times over a period of about ten minutes and I did not see any employees stepping in to address her behaviour and speak with her. So I did.

Later that evening I was approached by two young ladies; I would have to assume they were managers, they did not introduce themselves. I was reported to them by "a father", they said, and they had come to investigate the presence of a man yelling at teenaged girls, 13 years-old to be specific.the poor thing, on the trampoline floor.

To the managers (I think) and employees of Flying Squirrel: Please do your jobs so that people like me don't have to. To the individual who reported me: I did not yell and you are welcome; my action may well have spared your child injury. To anyone planning to bring their children here: look out for you child's safety.

My kids had a lot of fun bouncing around the park. We went on 6 Jan right before back to school. The place was very busy and when we arrived the line was out the door. While fun for kids and a place I would recommend this was not the best day to visit.

The place is clean and a lot of fun, but there HAS to be a better system to check people in. Clean this up and the overall experience will be a lot better.

There was a massive line out the door that took an hour to get through. Once we got to the desk, the lad at the counter justed asked us for how many, so we told him 7. Only to find out we wanted the jungle gym section and not just the trampolines. Kids were super upset and so were the adults that we were automatically sold the trampoline side wrist bands and wernt allowed over to the other part. Ended up leaving 30 minutes in because it was jam-packed and kids got bored pretty quickly just bouncing around.

Some kids are uneducated monkeys and when u talk to parents u realise they are even worst.was pretty good before but soon you ll need security over there

The kids had a blast but it is so wild in there! We have attended several birthdays and it is a bit too hectic for me (especially on a PA day!)

Also, if you have a 20 kid birthday party, you only get to use the play area, NOT the trampoline park - which doesn't make sense at all! The 10 kids birthdays spend 1 hour in the trampoline park and 1 hour in the party play area.

Had my daughters 9th birthday party here. Very good service, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Although they may claim the largest indoor trampoline park but this place need to go a long way… 0 star for the staff around the front desk as the lady didn’t care to explain properly the packages or she didn’t know herself not sure what’s was the issue. All the attendees were young kids who were lacking training…0 star for safety on or around wall climbing.helmets where not good enough to fit properly and strapped around properly for any kid, we had to tell the attendant to look multiple times and was so lazy to fix it … only star I am giving is for sanitization.effort where made to ensure place was sanitize frequently…

Coming here is always fun and its great exercise too! My favourite part is the rope and jumping into the pit! Flying Squirrel is a bit pricey but still sort of reasonable. Its great for kids to have a fun time and generally just anyone!

This place is insane, but the kids love it. If you can drop them off, leave, then come back to get them, it might be for the best. Loud and packed every time we go.

The place is so dirty, and jam packed, no body cared about time booking, you come and you get in. How can it be safe for kids and adults? With the new covid, some kids and adults will for sure get it there, if no one is reinforcing the rules.

Look we love flying squirrel, the adventure park and trampoline park are great for kids. But the before and after service are chaos. We waited in line for 30 minutes even though we prepaid online, the mobile check in line didn't exist. Then there's the total chaos of your entry in general, just some tiny lockers to store your shoes, nowhere to actually change. We put our sweaters by some couches while my daughter played and someone stole them. If you want a good example of service, check in and check out, see the way cosmic adventures does things up the road.

Then there's some sort of adherence to covid protocol, which flying squirrel has none, at least half the kids in there had no masks, even a few adults, not just not wearing them properly, but no masks at all. I'm pretty sure there's still a mask mandate. I know the teenagers working there don't want to confront anyone, but maybe there should be at least one adult on staff to enforce things.

Great place for kids! Lots of things to do and you can just experience most things with them. Nice cool obstacle courses and great trampolines. The staff is helpful and cheerful.

We have been to the park twice. First experience was right after Ontarios re-opening in the spring of 2021. That experience was amazing.

Winter 2021: We stood in line for almost an hour. We had reservations for a certain time, got there 30 mins early, and still stood in line for an hour. We missed 30 minutes of the jumping time that we paid for because we stood in line so long.

There was no food to purchase for the kids I had with me because they had several birthday parties going on (I lost count), and when I asked for pizza…they stated they had too many parties going on to allow “regular customers” to buy pizza.

They are way in over their heads. Customers with paid up front reservations wait in the same line as people just showing up, over crowded, understaffed and don’t count on food or drinks there.

Given the differences in provincial directives between ON and QC, my unvaccinated 12 year old is not eligible here, but there are no issues for QC non-mandatory businesses.

Horrible place to organise a birthday party for your kids. Terrible service quality and unprofessional staff who sabotage their employer's business by mistreating customers and spoiling your kid's special day. Never again.

A nice place for having fun with kids, if you have a birthday, it's a great floor to place it

Everything was great! Health and safety measures are in place, nice & clean play areas, and friendly staffs. I would give 5 stars, if there was a staff who can manage the lineup for the busy time. Also, needs to check and clean washrooms more frequently.

Don't rely on staff to supervise or direct kids.they mostly chat together. My daughter got stuck in the upper floor of their obstacle course. She was in tears because she could not move while there were two staff members chatting by the entrance! Older kids could be taking over the basket ball court forever and no one ask them to take turns! Never again!

The worst experience ever. I spent 45 mins driving to flying squirrel and 30 mins of waiting in lines just to find out that if I want to use the Black Friday deals (redeemable any day and any time) I have to send in an email first. I have 2 kids under 6 who was supper excited and telling them that they can go in. It was just heart breaking seeing the tears in their eyes as they have been waiting all week. No supervisor or manager were there. They give me a generic email if they want to make a complaint. No to mention the waiver force you to give them your full name, address and full date of birth. Why are they collecting them?

My kids loved celebrating their birthday at Flying squirrel, they had so much fun and shout out to Carl, our host who was so nice and accommodating. Made the experience even better for everyone. Thank you.only thing is that I was told on the phone that I can't bring anything other than a birthday cake but other birthday organizers were there with so much goodies for the kids, fruit, candies, etc. I wish I could treat my guests to more than cake and pizza!

I was going to write a long review about the awful customer service Flying Squirrel have in place, but other customers have addressed this issue already and apparently nothing has been done by management.

I would like to add that it should be clearer at the moment of purchase that the customers would only have access to the structure if they buy their socks, incluiding the adults. It has to be their socks, it cannot be a normal grip socks. It is another way grabbing some more cash from you.

Many parts of the facility was not working nor had staff present to help and give us instructions about it.

Not coming back, not worth your money, no service, there are better options in Ottawa that offer proper customer service.

Kids had fun! That's the most important part. But the bathrooms were dirty and service at the snack bar was slow. In between customers the cashiers kept going to the back, so we waited a good 10 minutes before having our order taken. Otherwise, a very fun place for kids to spend some energy!

Great place but no one checks for passports and teenagers/adults are running around without masks on.

Great place to bring kids or even the kid in you! Had a birthday party here was surprisingly affordable, considering the by the hour pricing for the general admission

Kids love it! They have a new section that looks amazing for kids but you have to take the adventure pass to access it. We didn’t know but next time will definitely take it for the kids to try it.

They operate at a reduce capacity because of covid which was kind of nice to not be over crowded. You have to book online first to make sure you have a spot! Everything is operating smoothly. Kitchen is still open and they still do birthday parties.

The only thing I think should be reinforced is the in/out at the main door. From a parents perspective I don’t find it safe. I know it’s the parents responsibility to watch their kids but it would be great if flying squirrels would have a different system at the door… or at least have a staff that controls who comes in and out…

It’s an amazing activity for the kids, teenagers and adults!

Hannah was amazing as our host today for our son’s birthday party. She was kind, efficient and extremely attentive to having everything organized and ready ahead of time for us. The entire party went smoothly without a hitch and we owe this to Hannah’s assistance. Highly recommend for a birthday party, it was great. Thank you!

Lots of activities, kids loved the new area of rope walls, rock cloning and playing structure maze.

Not totally Impressed with the staffing at this place. We had a birthday party there and we did not feel the staff was really there or supporting. I expected little more professionalism dealing with customer instead of counting the mins. Anyways, I would not do another Bday party there due to staffing issues. The place was a normal trampoline place like others which the kids like very much.

A great place to burn off energy if the weather is bad. I recommend getting the pass that lets you do trampolines and the indoor playground as well for kids 10ish and under since they will want to do both.

Great sanitizing protocols. Was a little over crowded but overall a good experience for first time experience.

Was looking into booking a birthday party and it seems like their pricing on their website is incorrect. Was told it was double the price even though that is not what it says online. Very deceiving.

Is there a pandemic, well not here. I get that covid was rough on a business like this, we were also excited for the reopening but what a disappointment when we got here. We went on the site to book and read the covid protocol, saw that we needed to book a specific time, so we felt that it would be a safe environment as they would be limiting people. When we arrived there was a line, we were booked for 1030 and it took 20 mins to get us through. To our disappointment, the place was as busy as it would have been pre pandemic. No one ways, half the people weren't wearing mask, the main section says 15 max, at one point I counted 36. If we want this pandemic to continue, go here. We had bought the 120 mins dual pass for the adventure park and the trampolines. We left after 25 mins as there is no distancing, there is no one monitoring, it's a real free for all. As a favour to all people in Ottawa, do your part and reopen safely as this is embarassing. I would prefer not seeing a fourth wave.

Only rating 1 because negative is not an option. Went today to make inquiries and book for tomorrow, service pretty pathetic from the get go. I mentioned that it was my first time there and would like to know how the process for the purchase worked. God forbid I asked a question. This is how this girl responded to my question… she leans forward rests her chin in the palm of her hand that she’s leaning on with her index finger pointing upward like she’s ready to pick her nose and says to me repeatedly “look up” then when I realize she’s actually talking to me and she’s not just a robot repeating the phrase, I looked up and made my own decision since she was no help. Oh it gets better. I need to purchase socks.she says what size? I proceeded to ask my grandchildren, instead of saying “there is a size chart on the floor where you are standing “ She says “Look down, look down” she didn’t bother waiting for my answer for size she grabbed 3 pairs and put them on the counter. I hope she’s there tomorrow when we go, I’d like to have a chat with her…. In front of everyone waiting in line, we’ll raise the bar a little for better customer service. This will be the first and last time for me… went to Fun Haven and Putting Edge as a first time customer and both these places were were very professional, accommodating and willing to answer any questions.a good example in customer service that this person could learn from

Loud, full of crying kids and one little girl who peed from the door to the toilet. Glad I don't work here! But it was fun, safe, not too crowded. $90 for 1.5 hours of jumping was perfect for my 14yo.

A bit of a mess right now. Booked a time online, showed up at that time and waited in line for a half hour with a bunch of other people who booked for that time because the place evidently doesn't understand the core concept of reservations. Plus, it seems like they're way under staffed.

Very nice place. Not crowded right now due to covid crowd control and online registration. I did find it a bit expensive for a one hour session, but plenty of activities, just not enough time in one hour for the kids to do it all.

My daughter, 1.5yr old grandson and I visited Flying Squirrel Ottawa this morning. We bought tickets and signed the waivers in advance. Seamless process. What a great experience. Limited number of guests due to red zone, sanitizing stations throughout the area. Plenty of refs on hand to monitor jumpers and sanitize behind the guests. We can't wait to go back and check out the Adventure Playground next time. Thanks for a great time.

A little smaller than expected, but still a really nice place for a family friendly hour or 2 of fun. Make sure to call to book your time/placement before you go, we didn't call and they were just about sold out, 1 lucky spot left so it worked out, but fair warning.

Beware, people! Dont go there during pandemic. No precautions taken, no social distancing, no supervision. We bought tickets in advance, as we suppose to but still waited 30 minutes. Very bad place to be. This is our first and last time during pandemic

Amazing place to get your little one and burn some energy! Lots of things to do and well protected against injuries as it's all padded corner to corner, floor to ceiling! Highly recommended

The park itself is great, structures are amazing and playground is great. HOWEVER service itself is terrible, everybody is in bad mood and annoyed to help you, god forbid you have extra questions.also, they will NOT answer to feedback and don’t care about bad experiences of customers. Too bad they don’t care, lost a some customers here.

Over the phone they told we can book the adventure park for the age 22 or more! We bought the tickets but when came in they said you can’t go there they have a age Restrictions! And when we asked them to refund the money they refused! Worst customer service

I am so impressed with this establishment! I’ve been there before. But this evening, my nephew got decked in the face by his brother accidentally while they played in the foam pit. He got jumped on by his brother (not the fault of anyone but the rough housing siblings). He was screeching in pain from a fresh shiner on his brow. Before we could even get to him, a ref was right there, talking to him and trying to help him out of the foam pit. We got him out and immediately that same ref ran to get him ice. Before he even walked away, the manager was at our side as well. She made sure my nephew was okay and joked with him and genuinely tried to make him feel better. She filled out an incident report. And made sure he was okay and taken care of before she left. I am so incredibly impressed with both the referee and his immediate attention for my nephew as well as the manager and her thoroughness, friendliness and general handling of it all.

I am from Brazil and loved this place, it's so fun to go with your friends, I took the glow in the dark time and it's awesome, the music, the different things u can do, basketball, dodgeball. You should go and see for yourself! Won't regret it!

Fun time as always & the new adventure park is certainly worth a visit! Best option for your younger kids is to spend an hour of jumping and another hour in the adventure park.
