All the staff here are great. They’re friendly, attentive, and qualified. Richard was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the reason for my pain. Combined with his expertise in plan of care, I was pain free after 5 weeks of treatment. I’m glad that I made the right decision to come to this clinic.

Started my physio session on my SI joint pain several weeks ago and after 4 to 5 sessions, my pain and discomfort have improved a lot. All the staff in this centre are very nice as well as this place is very clean.

Richard and Jean provide excellent professionalism treatment to me after I got car accident. I am highly recommended this place who are looking for a physiotherapy treatment.

The best physiotherapy centre in town. The physiotherapist Richard and the supporting staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. They really know what they do. I was not able to get up from bed due to lower back pain. Their proper diagnosis and effective treatment techniques helped me recover so fast. The receptionists are also so polite and helpful. I truly recommend this center for your physio needs.

I had terrible back pain since the beginning of this year, to the point where I had to leave work twice, because I couldn't do my job. My work was kind enough to give me benefits early, and I found Focus Physiotherapy directly across the street from my home.

When I had my initial assessment, Richard did a pain test on me, and so many movements hurt. After five visits, and some outpatient therapy suggestions, I'm completely pain-free. I want to thank Richard in his team for all of the good work they have done, and giving me my life back.

The first time I came in I was greeted by a very kind staff who gave me a set of exercises so I could regain my mobility and strength back. I suffered from chronic pain in my lower back for almost 10 years, only being given muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories and prescribed massage therapy by doctors. Finally I was able to try physio through Focus Physiotherapy in Mississauga and I could not be happier. My "chronic" back pain turned out to be treatable without medication, a few physio treatments and some stretches later I feel like I can finally live life pain free. The team here at Focus treat you like their own family they are trying to help get better, not just a number on a list of patients. My experience here was nothing short of great and I highly recommend them!

Focus Physiotherapy in Mississauga (@Hurontario&Queensway) is an excellent clinic from the staff at the front desk, top quality equipment, to the wonderful therapy team. Top recommendation, for sure!

My 15 year old son Evan tore his ACL of his right knee which required paediatric ACL reconstruction surgery and now a 9 month recovery phase. As Evan is a National level gymnast athlete, it’s important to be surrounded by health care professionals that support his advancement in his sport.

Richard Chu, as his primary physiotherapist provided a comprehensive assessment. He is very experienced, highly qualified, and a true professional. He addresses our concerns and answers our questions thoroughly. He truly is the core of this well run institution. Richard established a multitude of individualized therapy treatments and exercises for Evan which has significantly improved his healing process. This includes the Alter G, anti gravity treadmill, laser, and EMS treatments.

Huge shout out to the amazing therapists, and assistants, especially Jean. She is very approachable, highly trained, and always so considerate of Evan’s disposition. It’s the efficiency and collaborative teamwork approach that makes this location a success which inspires confidence with their clients. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.

Amazing staff, came in trying to find help in my knee which no one could figure out for so long. Came here and right away, Richard was able to tell me what is wrong and now one month later I have seen such a huge improvement in my knee. I love the fact that they do not make me wait. We all live busy lives and Focus respects your time. They adhere to your appointment time. They are very professional while being friendly.

The massage therapist is good. Asks for problem areas and works on them. However, the interior could use some update as it doesn't feel relaxing with the atmosphere around you.

I suffered a major chest injury from Martial Arts training and Focus Physiotherapy was very prompt and responsive in getting me in for my first and follow up appointments.

Really rude Indian lady and Dr. Chu. Lady never let me speak and said I needed to pay even though I was trying to tell her I was covered by ODSP/OHIP and Dr. Chu said I should’ve had physio from the hospital. They don’t do hip or knee. Really bad customer service.

Highly recommended. Got my ankle treatment after a bad ankle twist off the stairs. Ankle feels great now. The staffs were very professional, nice and friendly.

I was suffering from knee pain for months and I was told by my previous physiotherapist that I just have to learn to manage the pain because it will not go away. Richard proved them wrong. After only five sessions the pain on my right knee is gone and I’m back to doing my normal activities without my knees bothering me. Thanks Richard and to the whole Focus clinic in Mississauga.

I must admit, I was sceptical with how physiotherapy would help with my knee pain. I am thrilled to have been proven wrong. After only the first session, I noticed a significant difference. The exercises provided, to be done at home have also played a large part in my recovery. Excellent experience would recommend highly. Went in with some chronic shoulder pain. Was assessed by Richard and began treatment right away. Staff is efficient and friendly. Appointments are kept and I never had to wait even when I came early. With the exercise and therapy feeling much better in a very short period of time. Another great referral from my family doctor.

Had a wonderful experience in the treatment of my knee and until I acquired my needed custom knee braces just recently. The staff, from reception to treatment, were warm and accommodating and I felt their sincerity in their effort to help me in every step of the way.

I started my sessions a month ago at Focus to treat chronic pain and weakness in my forearms, the pain level decreased a lot and I feel them getting stronger after doing the exercises I was instructed to do. My dad recently started going to Focus Physiotherapy and they have helped to improve his mobility. Richard Chu gave an excellent assessment and has provided really efficient exercises that improved his energy levels. Overall his pain in his leg areas have decreased, thanks to Richard. The staff has always been professional & attentive on all my visits. I have never waited very long in the waiting room. I have been coming to the Hurontario location for multiple years for different issues.
I have seen the staff cleanse the chairs, beds & machines. They also cleanse their hands before and during each client. I have not used or seen anyone in the exercise room. But I am sure that would be the same.
I would recommend this facility to my friends and family.

I had a very bad experience with the receptionist today. I'm a senior citizen and my Doctor referred me to have lumbar traction. I called around 2 p.m to enquire about the availability of this service at FOCUS. The receptionist said yes but when I mentioned that I'm on OHIP she told me that the appointment would be after two months. I said ok but she hung up the phone. I IMMEDIATELY called back to find a message that no one is available to answer my call. Fortunately, I was asked to leave a message.which I did angrily criticising her behavior and requesting that they call me back. I'll check my phone to find out whether they call or not. I demand an apology and would endure the pain rather than be treated at this place.

I went to Focus Physiotherapy after a fall causing a tibial fracture. Richard and his staff are professional and have offered great services during my healing process. The massage services by Jennifer have been great as well. Yes, I’m sore after being worked with but, all worth it.

I had lumbar fusion surgery in July and was looking for a physio therapist who was experienced with post-surgery cases. I found Focus and started seeing Richard in October. He and Jean have been fantastic. I feel wonderful, confident that my back has fully healed and I am pain free. Joanna was also very helpful.
