Go to for cheap groceries. Can be frustrating when people in the store don’t follow COVID restrictions.

The WORST food basics in the city! On top of all the produce always being ROTTEN and EXPIRED! Their debit machines are broken and tell you that you declined but then it charges you twice for your groceries. Worst part? When I asked the manager to refund me my money that was clearly taken twice on my banking app right when it happened he continued to WALK AWAY FROM ME, tell me it’s not his machine, and that my bank will refund me! Huge lack of customer care, worst store ever! Will definitely be calling the team above them to have many of the issues I found today resolved.

Organized and clean.arrows in floor to show which direction you need to go in each aisle not many customers follow then though so that's the only downfall, cashier was great!

They don't price match, their food isn't in the best condition and they take some time to restock their shelves longer than other stores do - like midday weekend it's empty (most people go at that time for shopping)

Food Basics is grocery store with great prices and fresh produce. They also have many reasonably-priced specials. While you're saving money on groceries be prepared to pack your own groceries. There is also a pharmacy at this location.

I came to food basics after such a long time, but it just felt homely again. Didn't feel like I hadn't been here. The selection was great, surprisingly better than other branded store (to which I had stopped by but ended up leaving without getting my shopping completed for food items). I would definitely recommend going there and the staff was super helpful.

Affordable prices: gallon of destilled water was only 99 cents. There is a new addition to the bulk place - it is now whole wall full of different snacks to choose from.

Today 3/1 bought broccoli full of black bugs, disgusting, please food basic management needs to do something.

Rain checks are issued for items not normally carried then are never able to be redeemed. Pat on the head and sent on your way.

It's the place a do my groceries, without hemorrhaging money. Not as fancy as the top of the line stores here, but everything is fresh and cooked well.
