Well first it was very disgusting, thinking that I was grabbing a frozen bag of chicken when in fact the chicken was defrosted!

Food Basics is Okay. They have better sales on than most. Their prices are a little less but depending what time you go shopping there next to the weekly sale, you might be out of luck and whatever was on sale that you wanted to buy as ran out and shelf is empty.

Busy place if you do not go first thing in the morning. Prices are reasonable but they have a hard time keeping advertised products in stock

When I go checkout, the manager told me they have an amount limit for their items. They want their items be available to everyone I understand. But they need to put a sign up telling their guests their purchase restriction policy, just like every other supermarket does. Their management is garbage. Waste customers time. Won’t be back again!

Chicken thighs on sale empty, many empty shelves. The store is in disarray. I moved to 4 corners so I have to go there. I use to shop food basic on LaSalle. The store is very c ok clean always stocked. Beautiful fruit and vegetables.isles make sense. I miss it. Your isles and skid drops for sales you can't even pass through. Anyway this is not the first time I've been there or I wouldn't be critically about my experience. I tell people I hate shopping at food basic LaSalle. I'm sorry but this is true. Please make something outta this comment.

Despite the new self checkouts, this store is still where I prefer to shop. They should have more cashiers available in the last two hours they’re open. More than once now, express and self checkouts were the only ones available when I had $100+ worth of groceries. It’s frustrating.

The fresh produce isn't that great but staff is nice so I guess good out weights the bad everything is mostly easy to find

Has a variety of products most stuff in stock. Shop here often has one the best prices on produce. Cleanest food basics store in town.

I will only go to this Food Basics if absolutely necessary. Usually out of sale items, not stocked well and has cramped aisles. Regardless of that they still have good prices and great customer service

Food is almost ran out. No toilet paper anywhere and milk is pretty much ran out! Lucky I gave them a 1 star rating should be half star!

Clean n bright with pleasant staff to look after u.for whatever ur needs r when ur shopping. Fresh food all the time to make ur selection n choices quick n easy so u can get in n out. Enjoy n have a great time.

They didn't have any chinese eggplant which was a bit disappointing. I would also like to see more items available that aren't wrapped in plastic, especially cheese

Very organized shelves, extremely easy to find what your looking for EVEN IF YOUR VEGAN! Other stores I've had to walk around & around till I found it.

Not all Foods are placed according to category which leads to going mindlessly around the store to find what you are looking for.
Went to the “quick”isle with my basket and the lady was taking it in turns to look after customer service as well as the quick lane.what was meant to be a quick stop took 20 minutes.management needs to up their game.

All your favorite brands, as well as top quality house brands, all at a fair price. Sale events can't be beat and are a great time to stock up.

Great place to shops. Affordable price with good quality of products but the scarcity of staffs to assists customers and it’s also very convenient place to shops too. Usually go here at weekends.

Food basics at Sudbury is located in a good place with ample carparking facility. As you enter the shopping center everything is arranged conveniently so that you can locate each and every product easily. The prices are also displayed for the customer to see and decide on the purchase. Products from different parts of the world are available in the complex.

Staff are not always courteous. Advertised items are not always available. Selection of items is mediocre.

This is located on Regent street near the four corners. This location greatly varies depending on times and who is working. The staff ranges from rude (yelling at customers) to very friendly and approachable. They are also missing a few things that are shown in the flyer ad. There is also very little employees walking around who you can ask for help. There store also is disorganized sometimes. However, they have a great range of products and great prices. I will visit again as this is where I mainly get my groceries.

The store has very competitive prices with excellent variety. More cashiers, less cluttered aisles and someone manning the customer service station would assist the shopping experience. The biggest obstacle to pain free groceries is the parking lot. Especially in the winter, it's like a carnival bumper car ride.

The store does not have enough cashiers. Even when they do the “express” check out is a joke. I understand it’s convenient to offer lottery, I was just absolutely stunned when there was only two cashiers and a line up of 15 people (not exaggerating) and this older lady was entitled to get her 10+ lottery tickets checked well everyone waits. I cannot believe the cashier MUST check all her tickets and pay her out well everyone waits. Could there not be a store policy that makes checking tickets second priority when there are multiple people waiting. Is lottery really that profitable for this store?

The store is always clean, stocked, and well priced. However, I cannot visit this store to pick up a few things anymore because the line up always seems to be an issue.

Get rid of the damn lottery. Make them go to a gas station.
