Usually, it has a couple of great deals on products that make it cheaper than other grocery stores.

Fair prices. Bad produces though, but they have the best deals in town. Friendly staff. Great management! Unfortunately could use a little more cleaning though guys. Sorry. I know it's busy, must be tuff. But still nice place to shop, great deals, fast line ups, and lots of parking

Its a good store. Its busy so product turnover is good. More reasonable than others stores in this area which generally are more expensive. The grocery industry really has used Covid and inflation to an unreasonable level judging from their profits. Food Basics has not. Staff are helpful.

To the manager,
Please teach you employees how to exchange respect. If someone’s looking for something and he moved few products to the side for the thing, your employees don’t need to show aggression and place the object with a hard bang on it’s place.

They have got a bit better with their pricing items also friendly service most days overall it is a good grocery store.

I bought groceries here the other day, I keep seeing vegatables that are either turning black or green. I bought Peanut Butter and now my Father and I have food poisoning because of it.

Their sales are good. Staff have always been friendly. Nothing fancy about it but it does offer the basics. I find produce is too expensive when it isn't on sale, especially for the quality. Herbs are definitely over priced compared to competitors. Lots of parking and conveniently located next to a Pharmacy and Beer Store. Usually has flowers and plants to choose from.

Small location, which was poorly maintained. Fruit was all over the ground with employees nearby just chatting.

I was so surprised at the items I purchased cost me less this time around. I loved saving around 50$ on items I buy often

Nice, an easy to shop, wide iles friendly, staff, if you cant find it just ask a staff member theyd gladly go get it for you,

I really enjoy shopping at Food Basics, they almost always have good fresh produce, and the sales are pretty good for the most part. They do need however to be more aware of the line ups at the cash registers and be quicker to react to speed up the process. All in all it is a good store with pretty reasonable prices.
Considering that we are still suffering the effects of a post Covid world, it is not unusual in any grocery store to still see some empty spaces on shelves. I sure hope this is not the new normal!

Nice friendly only had 2 items lady in front of me had 10 she seem tired and have a hard time walking she let me go first thank you again lady

Its not a bad grocery store i find that if there is something you need from their flyer you should be there first thing the flyer comes out always missing key items

My least favourite discount store in town.
They’re often sold out of things, especially sale items. If you can’t get there with 3 hours of opening on the start day of a sale, forget about it.
Produce quality is hit or miss and variety is lacking. Something like fresh kiwi is iffy but you’ll always find 5 kinds of potatoes. Unless they’re on sale.
Staff are decent if a little on the gruff side.

I have to say. I don't come here often.but they had beef tenderloin on sale.and they had plenty.nice to see

I just absolutely love this basics, it's small, professionalism by all accounts, aswell as very helpful when asked!

Seriously, every single time I shop here I go to check out and the employee is either chatting away or doing a task that can wait. I'm 90% sure a manager allowed this to happen on my recent experience, a little mind blowing. My experience here every time is just exhausting. I only come for my dog food and it's not even the cheapest place to buy it, just closest to home. I'll be making the extra five minute drive to Walmart from here on out.
