Food Basics

I shop at Food Basics all the time. The prices are so much cheaper than other supermarkets for the same items. Fruit and vegetables you can't get better prices.

Cheap place for groceries. It's pretty annoying they don't have hand baskets. Meats and produce are about what you would expect for a discount chain.

My wife used the restroom and was disgusted by what she saw. Makes you wonder how much care is taken with food cleanliness.

Didn't find everything that I wanted will have to back another day or somewhere else.

So I had a weird experience with a Cashier. I was ID, that's fine. It was the moment I handed her a status card. She stereotyped me. She absolutely singled me out. Then made a aweful comment on my picture. She judged me the moment she saw that card. I'm 35. And because she didn't like my picture she almost refused me because I'm Native. Racism is out dated and needs to stop.

Some of the most polite under paid staff I've ever dealt with. What a great experience

Nice store. Busy even on a Friday night. Staff was very helpful. They have self checkouts. Would recommend.

I forgot my wallet in the cart at this location and only realized my mistake the next day. The staff had found it and kept it safe. When I went to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised that everything was accounted for! Thank you so much for being so honest and doing the right thing! What a great example of how ethical and trustworthy the staff are.

Good prices on produce at times. They carry some cool items you might not find in other grocery stores. Friendly staff. Some shelves need deep cleaning and dusting.

New Sudbury location. Quality produce and good variety at very reasonable prices.

Horribly managed store! Does not even have front page items on the day the flyer break and the store just opened. If you are looking for flyer items I would go to another store that is properly managed.

Great store, clean, fresh produce and meat. Awesome cashier, grateful for the carry out. I just wish the sugar snap peas were in stock. No wait at the cash. Thankful my service dog is allowed here.

Went thru self checkout and young lady had to help me out three times. She was very nice. The prices and sakes this week we're off the charts. Recommended to all folks of all ages

I think this Food Basics store is the one I shop at all the time. It is clean and the shelves are never empty, and it is very neat. The customer service is excellent, they always smile, they're kind and helpful. Thank you.

The cheapest place for groceries in town! Great prices and good staff. That cart chaser guy who’s always there chatting with people is one of the reasons I go. He’s friendly and makes the experience pleasant despite my hate for spending Money. Staff like that are hard to come by.

My favorite Food Basic. Staff is polite. They have a wheel chair and an electric scooter. When entering store ask at first cash and they will bring it to you. They also have carry out. They're produce is always fresh along with the meats. Store is usually well stocked but lately there has been some shortages. A sign of the times. There's lots of parking and handicap parking. Close to the bus stop. I like that they have a reduced fruit and bakery section and wish they would make that larger, theyre clean and polite.

Found most of the things I was looking for. The place was under construction but still open to thr public. A very hectic place.
