Clean spacious store. Staff are helpful and friendly. Products are fresh and at a descent price.

There were two checkouts available with long line up on both so we went to the self checkout where there were more problems with the system than can be imagined. The staff member was as helpful and pleasant as possible but the experience left us frustrated and determined never to return to this store.
The prices were not low and sale items were not available on two items. All in all not a pleasant experience.

Not much selection I bought carrots. 5 out of 6 were bad when I took them out the bag.
I'll never go there again. There are other options in town.
And the beads!

The staff have always been absolutely wonderful, we never have an issue with the employees. Great job guys!

Last time shopping here. Store was dirty, cashier was curt and products close to expiration date.

I have shopped at many food basics stores in Ontario and have always had get service and the staff has always been friendly

Food Basics has a horrible and expensive meat selection (bottom of the barrel) but otherwise has excellent products.

Good food much basic

The store is well organized and the cashiers are wonderful. Plus at night it isn’t very busy. Good times all around.

Good center, but sometimes it is late in the cashier to pay and go. But I like this place regardless the staff are very good at it and they always help when requested

Great prices on most food items. Occasional discounted produce and other shelf items also on sale. Good atmosphere and less busy than other bulk stores. Recommended

I have never been greeted so politely and with such enthusiasm at a grocery store! Way to go guys and gals working here! You never know how someones day is going, so that little bit of brightness and cheer goes a long way keep it up!

Good products, good prices, however to get some of the offers on the flyer you should go the first day it started, otherwise you won't get anything.

The Staffs are amazing. They are polite, friendly and I'm always impressed with the level of service. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. There's a Food Basics store just 5 minutes from my house but I choose to drive 15 minutes to this store because it's simply the best store in town.

I was double charged for toilet paper. I bought 1 package and I was charged for 2. I called and spoke with the manager, Don, and he said he will fix this on my next visit. So my visit was excellent as always.great staff, manager and store

Great place to load up on groceries, deals go deep and I find they are well-stocked on advertised items.

Just the nicest and easiest shopping experience here. Many great sale items available. All bins full neat and tidy with correct bin descriptions and pricing. Very pleasant. Filled my cart.

Never busy.store is clean and the staff are friendly. Need to have more fresh produce though and some products that are not so close to being stale dated.

Food basics was well stocked.except for toilet paper but that is to be expected.loads of fresh fruits and vegetables and not too busy first thing in the morning.

Good prices, and they are constantly expanding their product line, for example they are now carrying non dairy yogurt and more vegetarian and vegan options.

Whenever I have gone shopping there I always have a positive time. The staff I encounter with are always positive.

For a grocery store of its type, it is good. Fresh fruits and vegetables at affordable prices. However, lately the plastic bags they sell you to carry out your groceries have been smelling strongly of an unknown chemical. This chemical smell is absorbed by the food in the bags. Especially breads! This has made the bread I bought completely unetable!

I've always been a regular at the Food Basics in other towns. When moving here, the experience in store was the same. Friendly staff, etc. Unlike the Food Basics in London, there is no student discount day. However, in the two months I've lived in Guelph, every bag of milk I have purchased has been bad or gone bad within a week, and I have also come across an entire pack of yogurt that is bad. I wouldn't trust the dairy in this store.

It's one of my favourite places for grocery shopping, varieties, good offers and prices.
I am a regular customer.

Floors in the produce area are always filthy and some liquids.safety hazard just waiting to happen.

Clean store, fair prices and great sale items all the time. Staff are friendly and courteous. That and the points keep me going to Food Basics.

No glamor, just what oneneeds for preparing food. All basics are there, presentation is fair, prices competitive.
