Food Basics

No meat selection. Milk was rotten in a day. Bought precooked sausage, opened and slimy and vinegar smell. Terrible control of logistics apparently. If you don’t cook the day of buying, you risk food poisoning.
Produce is obviously non local and will spoil in hours in your home.
Quality control is zero.
Ownership, please take pride over profit, you are contributing to our nations demise, shame on you.

Gents, Why you do not bring lebanese Pita to your place? ! White Lebanese Pita is always missing why?

Cheapest around, staff are always friendly. They usually have the store brands and the popular brands. Great place to shop without walking out and spending 120 on a bag of groceries that most places you go nowadays.here you at least walk out with 2.

Would've given full stars. Just hate the self check, can't pack bag without it having an issue. Frustrating

Such an organized, well stocked and clean store. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I drove in from Sauble cause I heard they have halal and the store did not disappoint. The variety is exceptional! Will be back for sure.

Bad produce lately; bought a bag of potatoes and they went bad in 2 weeks; today i bought peaches and by the time i got home they had spots all over them like they were frozen or stored too cold.too bad i dont live close, otherwise i would return them

Nice new store but only one electric cart for handicapped shoppers. Somebody dropped the ball on that one. Went today and as usual specials all sold out.

I was shopping at Food Basics this morning, I was looking for the last item on my list, and it was eluding me. I heard - Good morning miss, is there something I can help you find? I looked around.there near the self check out was a smiling young lady looking at me. She repeated, is there something I can help you find? I told her what I was looking for, and she gave me clear directions on where to find it in the store. When I was checking out I thanked her for her help this morning. She said it was no problem.she had noticed me going up and down the same isle a couple of times and wanted to offer me assistance.

Michael is the worse work I have seen there he gave me an expired thing that I ask for from the back
