Food Mood: Korean & Japanese Kitchen

The bulgogi bimbap (Something like sushi) was good, but was provided no sauce like soya or even hot sauce. I expected that especially having a similar item which looks exactly like sushi.

Boneless Fried chicken was awful. Was just biting into a bunch of battered dough and most of it was that. This felt over battered and never eating this again. At first glance it appeared like a good value until just biting into battered dough unfortunately. Also whatever the chicken was sauced in, it contributed to the dryness as it was minimal.

3 star, was hoping for much more. Reasoning: The food was good. However, a paid for item was forgotten, the Bulgogi Beef had literally 4 small bits of beef, and 1/3 of the entire dish was shaved julienne carrots. The chicken Yaki was OK but strangley sweet? Lacked in some seasoning & spices. After ordering 6 differet dishes, I feel their flavour options for all dishes were - spices hot, or medium or none.
I believe there should be some spices added to MILD versions, there should be alternative flavours used to replace the heat spices.and not with sweetness.
May try again in a few months.

First time at this place from reading the positive reviews. First impression already set it off from the customer service, the lady behind the front counter was very rude and miserable, waited 20mins for 1 deep fried dish, the place was dirty inside and their food was full of MSG seasoning. Will not return to this place!

Soooo delicious! First time trying today but I will come back. Very good service and very nice people.

I've tried the beef rice and udon and both were tasty. Out of the two, I'd prefer the rice since it came with a larger assortment of veggies. Since it's takeout only and they make the food fresh, I'd recommend calling ahead so you don't have to wait long.

I got Bulgogi Gimbap with Japchae and Rideau Crisps? ! I think it’s worth it for the price. It was around $18 before tips! I waited around 15 - 20 mins for the food & it’s take out only.

The gimbap was alright! I’m not a big fan. It wasn’t tightly wrapped & it was so cold! I was hoping for freshly prepared food considering the wait time. The japchae was quite bland & I didn’t like it that much either. However, it was the only thing that was warm! The rideau crisps is a decent snack, but again it’s also cold and since it was fried, if you don’t eat it right away after cooking then all you can taste is the oil iykyk!

Overall I think it’s a decent quick meal. Such a shame as I was having high hope after reading all the reviews. The owners are nice though!

This take out ONLY restaurant is a total mood!
The food is very good, the owners will definitely help you choose and the price range is affordable.
I was able to have a beef kimbap with rice, beans sprout, fried tofu, and a pop all for 20$.
The food is refreshing even on a hot day.
Don't be fooled by the restaurant's look, it tastes way better than it seems like.

For me, the only downer was the fact I couldn't sit in to enjoy the meal.

I really like this place. Good food, kind people. I've never had issues ordering my food either, so some of these reviews just seem ignorant

The prices have gone up and the best options have gone away.
That being said they're the only place I've ever seen do a good vegan kimchi.
No longer serve tteokbokki, no more tables, the combo options are disappointing for the cost.
Staff is absolutely lovely though, but the passion they had for their food seems to have dwindled.

Traveled quite a distance to try out this place because of recommendations from a friend. Ordered a combo and it came with very little portions, cost $25. Pork belly tasted good but can’t say the same for other items.

Ordered 3 times all three were amazing. The kimbap and chicken katsu tasted authentic. The fried chicken with honey soy was my favorite.

Ordered a combo plate for 25$ (no price shown so was kinda trapped at that point) it was various forms of rice with like two dollars worth of meat stuck on top…

Place stinks of dirty oil and food was served cold.
Go next door to Shanghai Wonton Noodle, at least you’ll get your money’s worth.

Tried this place for the first time recently and I was very impressed with how delicious everything was. We ordered the Chicken Yaki udon and K-Bite bulgogi beef combos and the portions were good and everything was freshly made. Definitely going back soon

Amazing little hole-in-the-wall kind of place with pretty authentic flavours and a good variety. I always get take out from here, the pork belly is perfectly cooked and the spicy sauce tastes delicious. Overall, one of the best take-out Korean places in the city with good prices!

Kimbap is very good! Would enjoy some sauce with it personally. The Rideau crisps are yummy. Lots of unique sides. It’s a great place for takeout.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE CANT SPEAK ENGLISH WASTED 49$ Staff when call can’t understand simple words like water. Illiterate people work there
