Buy three to get a deal, is sooooo unfair for the people who can't hardly afford to buy one. Why not help everyone instead of only the rich. Greed!
Produce is rotten inside, but we can't see it until it's too late. I don't keep or even get a receipt most times. Increased prices with smaller potions.
I won't even shop at your store because of the owner lady.

Terrible food selection they only carry the cheapest brands of food and at a PREMIUM when we all know it isn't worth that much even with inflation prices. I have returned multiple expired items. I found glass in a compliments butter chicken microwave dinner and was going to return it, but was wearing my backpack and got targeted by an employee who told me I had to leave it at the till. Customers should not have to help you with your security problems, your trust issues are yours and yours alone. A few great staff members but incredibly slow service most of the time. Terrible produce selections, aisle are cramp and chaotic. I will be taking my business else where to the other establishments that don't make customer follow policies and respect your dollar.

My first time going was my last. Hardly any foods available, and the customer service was not good at all. Employees were just wondering around, when there is clearly work that needed to be done. Extremely overpriced compared to the competitors. And the back end of the store by the ice cream freezers smells horrendous.

Not much on shelves. Expired products found constantly. Very quiet atmosphere, employees are rude. Not many customers, and I see why.

Very shady minimum wage job. They hire people and give them raised pay rates even though there are others who have worked there for many years, and are still expected to make minimum wage. You're expected to do work not even related to your department, with little to no training at all. Managers get special treatment. There is zero room for growth. They keep you just under full time hours so they can consider you a part time employee and not offer anything benefit related, but expect you to work as much as possible.

I worked there for almost 6 years, with little to no raises at all, they took away the little. 25 raise when minimum wage last increased (Oct. 1st, 2023) They expect you to believe that a minimum wage increase counts as a workplace pay increase on their end, and won't account for your hours worked. (5,909 hours on my end). When confronted about this issue, the owners got very hostile, and when asked for information pertaining to the issue, they clearly stated that they didn't have to provide it, and that I can contact someone else. They expect you to work during your lunch hours, even if you're clocked out.

Stay away from this place. Consider it your very last option when looking for employment. There are many other places with many more opportunities available for you. Hanover Foodland is not one of them.

Great little store! Very clean & lots of in-store sales. Meat, deli and bakery are fantastic. Their in-store made pizzas are very tasty and a great price. The lemon danishes are fabulous! A must try!

Very friendly & helpful staff great store bright clean lots of very good produce to choose from hot foods is also a very good place to go for your lunch good prices can't go wrong better then standing in line for fast food

I love this store as it was my first job and now I am so sorry about everything. It was family run business then. Who cared about people and not there money. I'm not sure who owned it. But the prices are sky high! It's already BEEN HARD ON US ALL with Inflation ALONE. LET Alone people on disability have very little money to get decent nutritionists food that people need to eat to survive.

Clean store, fully stocked, nice selection and good lighting. Just no customer service. Passed by 4 employees and not one talked to me to even say hi. Lacking customer service.

Not the worst Foodland I have been in. Many of the prices are over-inflated, but the real story is that in place of any & every Foodland there could be a Metro or a NoFrills. Maybe a FreshCo or a TT for more international food options. There really isn't a need for gouge stores like Sobeys & no one should ever feel a want or acceptance of supporting Walmarts. I admit that I am biased from a very anti-capitalist stance. Consumerism is CoDOOMerism & CoDUMBerism, the truest sign that one doesn't care about the world/lives of their great-grandchildren. Spend more, have less. Think less, lose more.
