Foodland Stratford

Karrigan in deli is phenomenal. So kind, and accommodating. She came from her break to slice fresh deli meat for me, even after I said I didn’t want to bother anyone on their break! She was more than willing to accommodate. Super friendly, and fast when on cash too.

Great little neighbourhood grocery store. Excellent in house butcher & bakery.
Not the cheapest prices in town though.

Big selection of foods, good if you're self-catering or picnicking in Stratford. To a US visitor, the very limited wine section was a disappointment and puzzling.

Loved this Foodland! Super clean and had everything I needed for our Airbnb! Really good selection of goods, perfect location and friendly, helpful staff!

Alway have everything I need. The Deli is a good option for lunch meats as they don't have a big selection or packaged lunch meats, which is a good thing

Got charged full price for an item advertised on sale. Didn't notice till I got all the way back home. Called and spoke with a male employee. No apology at all about THEIR mistake. Just caused me further inconvenience by telling me to bring the receipt AND product back to the "Customer Service" desk. Why the product!? I don't want to return it. I just want a refund for being over charged. The laughable part is if they valued customer service they should at least apologize. Won't shop there again.

Kinda miss this place being 24 hours though. Mind you my shift is different these days so it's not as inconvenient but still.

Great family friendly super market. Been there for like forever. Concentrates on essentials for local customers.

Not the cleanest grocery store in Stratford. Prices are the highest in all of the grocery stores in Stratford. Customer, what customer service? Cashier's have st stand around and gossip with each other. Produce not very fresh. New ice cream freezers give most of product freezer burn and tons of built up frost and snow on product. Doesn't seem management cares to have this problem properly fixed. It's been like this for many years.

The afternoon/student/ weekend employees leave something to be desired. Guess I was making them inconvenienced.
