Cheap delicious food, cold beer, great spot to go after work, or a fun night out with friends

Unusually good pub food, and friendly staff. Great atmosphere if you like traditional British-style pubs. Nice place to watch sports or play a game of pool, with easy highway access.

Went here on the weekend as a friend recommended it. I ordered chicken fingers and fries.
Ordered garlic parmasean dry rub. I swear there was aoli or white sauce on them which I wasn't a fan of and never seen that done on fingers before. I've been other places and there actually garlic spiced and dry. I was grossed out. Also the chicken fingers was a very very small portion. I would not come back here and probably go somewhere like Chuggies or Innsville instead. Disappointed. Service was great though the waitress was wonderful.

The sweet potato fries were decent, but the chicken wings we had were disgusting! Over cooked, dry, and it tasted like they just killed the chicken, plucked it and served it to us. It smelt gross. We even asked for a fresh order and it was even worse. This restaurant is the worst place to get wings. The atmosphere is old, could use a renovation. The service was ok.

Friendly staff. Great food moderately priced and plenty of tv to watch the game or play Buzztime trivia or poker North America wide.
Poutine is the best along with their wings and Reuben sandwich also two billiards tables and 3 dart boards to enjoy. And plenty of free parking.

My wife and I have driven by this place many times and always had intentions of going, but never did until recently.
We went on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly busy at 6: 3pm. We were told to grab a seat anywhere we’re comfortable so we sat in a booth next to the bar. Service was quick and efficient. The wings and tenders were some of the best we’ve tried in the city and the prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend for everyone to check this place out at least once.

The Saturday special of Prime Rib dinner was amazing, something you wouldn't think would be served in a local pub.

Great restaurant and friendly staff. Food was excellent and fresh. Didn't have a long wait for food. I would have to other's to eat there.

Our sublime server Sarah! Was On the spot and very quickly made this paper crane! While continuing to rock the multitasking duties of a server! Made visiting THE FOOL an absolutely divine time!

Their butter chicken dish hit the spot was so delicious!

WOW! So so so good. Very friendly and polite staff, the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Jack Daniels burger with goat cheese, or nutty goat cheese salad. Excellent service and comfortable atmosphere.

My wife and I were “fooled” by incompetent service at a recent lunch. We arrived before the lunch crowd and after ordering drinks we placed our food order and watched as other diners arrived. When four groups who arrived after us were served, we inquired with the waitress when our food would arrive. When she returned she admitted she neglected to place our order with the kitchen. She was not new since she greeted other diners by name as we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive. Consequently, her incompetence means we will never return.

The food was amazing the server seemed quite overwhelmed and therefor didn't seem the friendliest. We were hoping to be able to play some pool but unfortunately the 2 tables were hoarded by the same people the whole evening, if there were more regulations or options for entertainment I would have given 5 stars.

Pub fare, but not terrible like one sometimes encounters. Excellent attentive servers and lots going on.

Horrible service tonight!
Sat in the middle of the room. 5 minutes to get menus and drink order.
Then they refilled everybody's drinks around us, sat two more tables and took thier drink and food orders. I made eye contact numerous times and even waved my menu at them.
Bartender/waitress just looked right through us. We left after 20 minutes when our glasses were empty and no one had come back to us. I won't come back.

Great food, fast, courteous service. Visited with the family (two kids, aged 3.5 years old and 18 months old), they brought the kids food out right away, which was really appreciated. Several high chairs available for the little one. Kid friendly sealed cups too.

The wife and I had their beef dip which was fantastic. Will be making the Fool and Flagon part of the regular rotation.

This has become a regular haunt. Service still top notch, food consistently great.
