I recently underwent breast reduction surgery in May with Dr. Ford and I could not be happier with my results. I felt comfortable and safe with Dr. Ford from my initial consultation. He explained the procedure thoroughly and he made sure to answer any questions that I had.

Dr Ford and his team have been superb from the very start of my breast lift and augmentation process. I researched plastic surgeons in Ontario and Dr Ford was my choice having read excellent reviews and testimonials as well as a word of mouth recommendation from a friend.
The staff at the clinic communicated promptly and responsively and Dr Ford took time to answer my many questions about the procedure. Going in to surgery I knew what to expect and felt well prepared and supported. On the day of surgery I was welcomed warmly to the clinic and they talked through what would be happening while I was there and also confirmed that my partner would be collecting me when I was ready to go home.
The whole team were excellent and I felt relaxed and well looked after both before and after the surgery. My expectations of the end result have been exceeded and and the scarring is minimal. I also had very little pain and discomfort after the surgery.
I had my surgery in March and have just had my third check up.
I had a few concerns about having the procedure done as I am 62 but was reassured by Dr Ford that there was no reason why it shouldn’t be a success. He was right and I am very glad I went ahead with it - it was all worthwhile.
I would highly recommend Dr Ford for plastic surgery.

I am not an ‘average customer’. I am an ICU nurse in my ‘real’ life. My opinions are educated and my standards pretty darn high:
Derek Ford is an A class human being who uses his meticulous, caring, humble nature to make other people feel better about the car their souls drive around (AKA their body)
In my case, my natural bosom was completely deflated and drooping because I had successfully breastfed more than once. When I looked at myself, I didn’t see me anymore.
Derek made my inside match my outside again and I have not regretted my investment in myself once.
I even recall a very humorous after surgery call when I was concerned about a certain temporary inconvenient symptom; he reassured me and laughed with me.
My five stars is only because I can’t give him six!

Very professional and polite who gives you all the time you need to ask about your concerns and possibilities. His staff were beyond the limits responsive and helpful. Phil is amazing, got back to me right away every time I needed to confirm about something or ask about anything.
Katherine did a great job accommodating my tight schedule needs and fixing the surgery date with all the inconvenience caused by the lockdown and assuring I prepped well for the surgery and followed up constantly with the necessary things I had to do before the surgery as well.
Last but not least, I had a great experience with Natalie the nurse who took care of me post the operation. She is helpful, informative and gave me good laughs! She is adorable.

I had a lower circumferential body lift with an abdominoplasty and umbilicus ablation.seems like a lot but Dr Ford and team were AMAZING. It's been a while since surgery and I've never looked better. After everything said and done, I’m thrilled to say I’m ecstatic about the results and how easy the process really was. Changed my life. I was very nervous to have the surgery but so determined to change my body. Many years after having my children I was left with a big vertical csection scar and a big belly.
I am so pleased with my results. Doctor Ford is personable and kind. I had a full tummy tuck and liposuction and the results are incredible! I am so glad I had the surgery having a flat tummy looks so great in and out of clothing! The insecurities of that big baby stretched belly are gone. I no longer have to squease into my clothing. I met with Dr. Ford for a consultation after being referred to him by a friend. Dr. Ford’s office staff was incredible, professional, organized and helpful. I have had quite a few procedures done by him: breast reduction, abdominoplasty and liposuction. I am so happy to say that Dr. Ford exceeded my expectations. I had my previous surgery with Dr. Ford at the Oshawa General Hospital, but my last surgery was done at the surgical suites in the Toronto location. It was so nice, warm, and clean with extremely friendly, attentive staff. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Ford came to see me a couple of times before the surgery. When he did the final markings before the surgery, I felt safe and at ease. Dr. Ford was very considerate of what I wanted from the upcoming surgery. Dr. Ford is extremely knowledgeable and realistic about his procedures. I really appreciated his gentle demeanour and no pressure attitude. He took the time to answer all my questions about breast augmentation, took the time to accurately assess me and take images for a 3D representation of a variety of sizes he felt would suit my frame naturally. I can’t imagine that there is a better plastic surgeon in Toronto than Dr. Derek Ford. He has exceptional surgical skills, is a kind and compassionate doctor and takes a very genuine interest in changing the lives of his patients through surgical procedure.

• Breast augmentation and lift - I selected very modest and natural looking implants. Dr. Ford spent a good amount of time ensuring the shape, size, placement and look I wanted. He told me what to expect every step of the way, how they would change over time post-operatively and has always been accessible to answer questions before and after surgery.

Derek Ford did my upper & lower eyelid surgery in July 2018. I am 46yrs old and have young children. I had thought of doing this for almost 10 years since I really felt my eyes are what made me feel and look "aged". He was referred to me by a few doctors whom I trusted implicitly - and had been the first name they had given to me to do this surgery for many years. I was settled after our first and only meeting that I would go forward with the surgery, and felt I did not need a second opinion.
