This Vet punchered my healthy 2 year old dog lung. Dr. Black is not professional at all. Our family dog passed and there was no help from the vet at All! It's been 4 months and not a response from them.if you love your animal this isn't the vet to go to.

Dr. Raj Dr. Mathan, Cara and their caring staff have been taking care of our cats since 2015. The staff are always helpful and happy to help us and accomodate our family every time.

Dr. Raj and his whole team are so incredible. He treats my dog like his own - always gives great advice, lots of cuddles and is so knowledgeable. His entire office are filled with warm, kind and patient people who clearly care for their furry clients. Would highly recommend.

This is a small but high traffic clinic so it best to book in advance. The team here works fast and efficient. Dr.raj not only helps your furry loved ones but he educates his clients with the knowledge they need to know to help care for them. I would not take my pets anywhere else!

Dr. Raj was amazing by providing us with information and clarification on surgery details for our little one. He ensured we were aware of the process and provided genuine advise and providing options such as surgery for our dog. This was our first time here recommended by a friend and would definitely be returning. I would highly recommend him as he will go beyond you’re expectations to treat you’re pet with care. Dropped my cat at the appointed time at 8am to be spayed and was told I could pick her up early afternoon. Called mid afternoon to find they had just done her surgery. I had come in from Toronto and had planned my day around the schedule only to find it was completely blown up. I have several jobs to look after and will likely not get home until 9pm. The excuse was they had an emergency which delayed my cats neutering. They could have picked up the phone to let me know so I could have rescheduled. Poor customer service. Will have to see how my cat fares.

Fantastic experience. My dog tore his rear acl. Minor tear. Another vet went straight to recommending surgery. Dr. Raj encouraged he wanted to avoid surgery and walked me through the process to get my dog back to normal. Took 8 weeks with a visit in between. He never rushed me out of the office, he saved me $3000 and most of all he saved my dog who at the time was just under 2 years old from going through a gruesome surgery he didn’t need. Fantastic vet. We were recommended to go see Dr. Raj and we recommend everyone near and far to go see him.

Messed up the operation for my dog and the stiches was wrong and said they needed to do another operation. We had to put him down because he was suffering

The people who work here are amazing. I never feel taken advantage of. Brought my terrier in for dental treatment and price was very fair, even had a "good client" discount on the invoice, nice! They also called to see how my dog was doing a few days later. Totally recommend!

Best vet you can find! Dr. Raj GENUINELY loves animals. This is someone doing a profession he is passionate about, and not just for a living. One of our dogs had a very traumatic incident when he was a puppy, and since then he is very defensive against vets. Dr. Raj took the time to understand this and build a lot of trust with him prior to treating him, not rushing us out for the next appointment. Very reasonable, easy to deal with and treats our pets better than we do, we are so glad to have found him!

The vet and his team make my pets feel welcomed and calm during every visit. We are provided with great information and affordable care. Definitely recommended.

My dog Mia got sick all of a sudden and my regular vet in Scarborough was either booked up or closed. I didn't want to wait so after reading some reviews for multiple places, I decided to call Forestbrook Pet Hospital. The receptionist was very friendly and understanding as I explained the situation. Luckily she was able to squeeze me in the same day for my dog to be seen by Dr. Raj.

When I arrived at the vet's office, I was greeted and felt welcomed right off the bat. Filled out short paperwork and was seated. The location was very clean and the office was operating under covid protocol.

Dr. Raj greeted me and brought me and my dog into the examining room and finished up with his last patient in the other room. When he started examining my dog he did a thorough examination, and asked a few questions - he knew what was wrong with her. No bloodwork or x-ray needed luckily. He gave my dog some medication and a shot, and then provided me with a bottle of medicine for Mia. He said he would follow up with me the next day to check in on her. The whole visit took less than 30 min!

As promised he did give me a call the next day to check on mia and asked me to come in again so he can do a quick checkup and give some antiemetic medication to cover the weekend. He showed me how to feed her and make her drink water as she hadn't eaten or drank any water for 3 days at that point. The trick worked like a charm at home!

I am happy to say that Mia is back to her bubbly playful self. I didn't break the bank or incur any unnecessary fees like I had in the past in similar situations - this was a huge concern for me. Dr. Raj's fees were the most reasonable that I've seen thus far.

Dr. Raj definitely is an expert in his field! It is clear he loves animals and I could see this by how he treated Mia. I have decided to keep him as my regular vet going forward. Highly recommended and some friends of mine have already decided they will be switching over to him as well.

Awesome. Moving from Toronto I never thought I'd ever find another Veterinarian like our Vet in Toronto. Was still going back to our Vet and by transit because he was so good, honest, and very reasonable with prices. Being stopped twice on transit because of no dog hours I had to find someone closer and in conversation with a another dog owner she told me to go to Forestbrook. Her recommending me to go there was best recommendation I've been given in a very long time. Dr Raj and staff are exactly what a patient/client would want. Highly recommended by myself now as I've passed the word and my daughter will be going there come November with her new addition.

They are very helpful and caring. In fact they take the well being of your pet over profit. We had our dog Athena in to see them recently and had a devastating prognosis of lymphoma. Dr. Rajkumar is very good with my dog. She's a big dog but very timid. She loves him and is always happy to see him. He's very attentive and understanding. I've gone to other vets and they're scared of her size.

Had a great experience here! Had to go in on a weekend day when mostly all places were closed. I was expecting a huge bill, but it was so reasonable I couldn't believe it! Honestly, what I was most impressed with was the service from the veterinarian. So well educated, super knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough. I would have this as my main vet if I didn't live an hour away!

Although we just recently moved to Pickering and our experience with Dr. Raj goes back only a handful of months, we've had several visits to Forestbrook Pet Hospital.
At least from our experience with other vets, Dr. Raj goes above and beyond the call of his duty, always being very accommodating as well as informative. He has been wonderful with our 2 cats. Specifically, he went out of his way to ensure that the last days of one of our cats, who recently passed away, were the best she could've had. We appreciate his support throughout.

Great Vet! He explains everything and he's not out to charge you for every little thing or for follow up visits. His philosophy is "why should I charge you again if I didn't solve the problem the first time? Instead of telling you to clean here, snip there, this Vet does the work for you. He cured my dog's chronic ear infection in 1 visit.

Our previous vet charged about 30% more and charged every time you went in about the same thing or for a follow up even though he never managed to cure anything. The former Vet was pure cash grab, the complete opposite of Forestbrook!

Our 10 year old cavalier spaniel was diagnosed with a heart condition, and we wanted a second opinion. Yesterday my daughter and I went to Forestbrook and met Dr Raj and his staff. We were IMPRESSED! He took his time to thoroughly examine and xray our dog, and then explained the details to us. We were there nearly an hour and left with a decent sized bill but it was still 2/3 of what our previous vet would have happily charged! Happy to have made the switch.

Over the past year, I have brought several of my pets to Forestbrook. Every time has been a great experience for me and the dogs and cats. Dr. Raj is a super vet and I highly recommend his hospital.

This clinic needs a new receptionist.she is extremely rude and has no customer service skills. When I called to ask her for an appointment she asked me if my dog was still alive and was surprised by my answer. Absolutely Ridiculous! Go to another clinic!

Dr Raj was very upfront on what to expect when we first got our puppy. He recommended great training classes to us and is very cost effective compared to other vets.

Love this doctor! Never over charge and knows his pet patients really well. Right away he knew my dog had gained 2lbs since months he had not seen her in which I didn't even noticed. Always a very pleasant one to see. Very pet friendly and always accepts and wait even when they are fully booked. Love this place! The receptionist are awesome people; very welcoming and very pleasant to talk to.

Dr. Raj is an amazing veterinarian. He saved my cats life! My kitten at the time was very ill and we took him to the emergency vet hospital where they just basically dosed him up on pain killers and informed me there was nothing they could do and charged me a small fortune. I contacted Dr. Raj’s office and explained the seriousness of his condition. The team graciously booked us in immediately and took amazing care of Zeus who is now 2 years old healthy and being a lovable brat. I could not be more grateful for the team at forest brook and Dr. Raj! Thankyou so much!
