Fortinos

Staff is super kind and helpful, very clean grocery store, whatever I can't find at no frills I find here, but for a pretty high price.

Store is well staffed both with cashiers and stock clerks. It is also well stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables.

I am impressed with the way this Fortinos is dealing with the COVID-19 protocols so far. Although, the line up is usually long, the wait time is not long because of the number of cashiers at the registers makes checking out easy and fast.

The only downside to this particular Fortinos is a lack of staff diversity.

I usually frequent the 3940 Hwy 7 location. I had to buy a birthday cake and opted to purchase 2 boxes of cupcakes and make my own "tear away cake". They did not have the usual piece of chocolate to write Happy Birthday and was suggested a ribbon instead. I was disappointed to find I was charged $1.40 for it.at my usual location, I am not even charged for the chocolate HB name plate. It may be a small amount, but it's the principle of being unnecessarily charged for something minimal.

Love this location.great produce. Can't seem to buy a good watermelon for the life of me and that's at $10/each! Sigh.

Great place to get some harder to fine brands including Italian favorites. Prices can be at a little more of a premium but huge selection and massive building.

I asked the butcher for 12 pieces of french lamb chops, paid $30
got home and found 6 tiny (2") by (2") portions.never thought i would get robbed for food.shame on you.what do you do fool the scale?

I will never return to this location.

Great location amazing management. Enjoy going into the store and seeing friendly faces and have them help you.

Always buy cold cuts and fresh crusty buns to eat on way home to Sudbury. Fruit and vegetables are also fresh and reasonably priced. Enjoy

Love this supermarket, has everything you need. The staff is amazing and cheerful, especially the guys at the pc express pickup.

Always enjoy the cafe before starting my shopping. Pharmacist is very attentive.clean organized never trouble negotiating the aisles with the loaner motorized shopping cart.parking is never an issue.

This grocery store has some bomb stuff. I wouldn't do a full shop here, but definitely has some unique Italian stuff you can find anywhere else

The pizza is really good from this store. I always stop in for some groceries and a pizza when we go to IKEA! Worth the wait

I am pretty sure that denying a cashier the right to a health break is against basic human rights and breaches labour laws and collective agreements

Nicely renovated, lots of purchasing options. I really loved the fresh baguette purchased from their new bakery department: Pane Fresco. People used with the old store layout will find this new one very conusing, as almost everything has been reorganized. It was a nice shopping experience.

This store located in north of Toronto is very quite but more varieties. I was looking this kind of Vinegar in every store but finally I found out here at Fortinos. Huge bakery section and of course my favourite beer section. Very convenient self serve kiosk installed instead of waiting in the line. Lastly well maintained and very neat, compared to other low grade superstores like No Frills, Freshco and Food Basics

Clients from different back grounds have come to this location over the years, and I am one of them.
I can find all what I need in the store, specially the organic sections.
Other members of my extended family have preference to shop at this location.
We are happy to see the varios producs and services you offer.

I bought a broccoli crown and there were countless numbers of little insects. Wrote to Fortinos to express my dissatisfaction. Store manager, JOHN MANCINI, contacted me to see me. The first appointment was on Saturday March 2nd between 12 to 1pm. When I showed up to the store he was not there. He calls me March 4th and we agreed to meet up on Saturday March 8th at 7pm. When I showed up to the store he was not there for the 2nd time. I couldn't believe how a store manager can be so disrespectful with his customer. Never again will at shop at Fortinos.

A place I trust for quality and cleanness. When it comes to fresh meat see food and bakery. Other on shelf stuff are slightly higher price than competitors.

They have an amazing selection of fresh food and baked goods. Def.try their pizza esp the one with the balsamic glaze. You will not regret it! It's def.better than a chain pizza place.

Very helpful baking staff. Ordered cupcakes from the baking department and staff was so pleasant and helpful to work with. Plus their desserts are an absolute hit, all my co-workers loved them. Thank you to the very kind ladies in that department who helped pack everything for me last night, exceptional customer service experience. I'll be sure to recommend Fortinos desserts to everyone I know.

Fortinos is a good place to get lots of things and is really popular as well. But it’s not perfect. I don’t go there to see often but still, I have to say great place.

Large grocery store, well organized. Deli has a variety of foods. My wife and I pick up roasted chicken and sweet potatoe fries on a regular basis. Their store made pizza is pretty good too.

Very helpful staff at the bakery. I went to order cake for my sons birthday and the girl (forgot her name) was very understanding. She listened to what I wanted on the cake and the colors I wanted. When I went to pick it up the cake looked aaaamazing. Thank you guys my son loved it!

Love my local Fortinos! Fresh produce including meat, fish & breads. Well stocked shelves with a good variety of gluten-free/organic/natural items. I especially love the 'guest appearances' by various chefs and a health consultant on staff. The best! (At Christmas time Santa even comes around for the kids!) Couldn't ask for a better store!

Great place to shop, but for some reason the shoppers at this location think they are entitled to pick through the boxed prickly pears and/or tangerines. I often watch these shoppers picking the best fruits from the boxes for themselves. Then another shopper comes along not knowing and purchases the the previous shoppers discarded fruit. Personally these items should be sealed. I don't think one should be purchasing someone else's picked through and discarded fruit. I have actually watched this happen many times, that I have actually asked them if I am to buy the fruit they handled. They have such attitude don't see anything wrong with it. I would like to see them buy fruit handled and squeezed and discarded by another shopper.

Great location and good selection of everything. Prices are a bit on the higher side though. But hey, it's portrayed as one of the Tier 1 supermarkets in Canada
