Fortinos

We love going to Fortinos because we love the Pane Fresco offerings. The pizza can compare with the best pizzas in the region.

My go to grocery, everything I need.staff is very personable and helpful.love the bakery, beer and wine for convenience.

Great customer service, Not gonna say its very expensive, but it has variety and do not know, why, But I always feel relaxed while I am in the store, may be they have different settings then other big stores out there, moreover, most of the in-store associate do have different energy and are passionate about their work, that gives you positive vibes. It’s always gives the experience that I am out there for shopping, not for groceries.

Gloria and Nadia helped us with funeral arrangements. They worked so hard and fast to make it quickly for us as we only had 15 minutes they were so helpful and nice. They truly saved the day!

Our favorite store! Found them over Covid and have been so happy. Great produce, great selection, fantastic staff!

I love shopping at this location after getting the rest of my Eastgate errands completed. It is well laid out, clean, and offers a huge selection of food and home items, including Joe Fresh apparel, small home appliances, and dining room decor. The staff are courteous and polite, and the customer service desk staff will call a cab on your behalf (and note the exact door at which to meet your driver).

Shopping malls can be hectic, with long lines and impatient customers at times, but this experience was really great for an anxious guy.

The store is large and there's no lack variety here. The prices for some items however can be a little too much at times. I only come here if I want something specific or I'm in the area and don't want to go elsewhere. Still a decent store.

Of the two Fortinos locations in the area, this is generally the better location of the two. A little nicer, a little bit more of the things we shop for. The parking lot, however, has a rather odd layout.

I prefer Eduardo's, cheaper and most importantly they respect by law mask exemptions. I go-to Eduardo for my family shopping from now on.

Clean and a relatively good atmosphere. Unfortunately very busy & I'm unsure if they are limiting number of customers in store during COVID. The selection of international foods is unbeatable, though!

One thing: Lately I've been disappointed walking through the bakery to get to the meat aisle, hoping that maybe the muffins will be a decent size again but nope, they're smaller than cupcakes now.why would I want a cupcake with my morning coffee? I want a real muffin. Make the Muffin Great Again! And get your 5 stars #MMGA

Went in to grab something from their salad bar as it was too hot to cook lol. Was still great choices for being so late in the day. And friendly service was a nice touch after a long day

I notice every time when I buy bread from Fortinos, they sell one day old bread most of the time. It's say freshly daily bake? , I cannot understand, it it true.

Excellent bakery. Clean aisles, shelves and facilities. Friendly staff. Minor issue with occasional wrong item keyed in so lost a star for that.

This place is utter TRASH! Their Staff have no customer service skills and the Manager of this Store discriminates against his customers!

I love fortinos but I've noticed recently they've been removing the "family size" packs of certain items forcing you to spend more buying more smaller / expensive packs of the same thing which I don't see as being accidental.

2 items in particular are the 500ml bottles of vanilla extract. Now they only have smaller ones forcing you to pay 2x as much to get the same value as the 500ml ones.

Another item is the 10 pack of shake and bake. They've gotten rid of this as well and now your forced to buy the 2 packs for 2.99 vs a 10 pack for 7.99.

Definatly bean counters at work pulling these stunts.

This causes me to buy none of these items and I'll go elsewhere since every other store still carries the bulk/family sizes.

Props to the daytime cleaning guy. You guys need to give him a big raise. I've never seen anyone work as hard / hustle as this man in any grocery store or any store in all of my life. He's an asset to your company and needs to be treated as such.

This is one of the best stores I have ever been too the have good prices like the pop or there beer they also sell amazing food if your hungry or just want so stuff you should go here

This place is dangerous! I can't go in just for groceries, I always end up with a bite to eat from their massive selection of yummy take out haha

Love to come here they have fresh produce and when your not in the mood to cook their hot food, pizza, sandwiches and pastas are perfect for taking home. Even the feel when you walk in, combined with the smells, makes you feel comfortable and invited! Great place to shop.

Deb and Kim and all the team are fantastic in the online section. They pick my groceries fresh and precise each time!

They have a great selection of groceries! Their produce is fresh and I can find everything I need and want even the items which are harder to find.
Their pizza is amazing, you can buy by the slice or order a whole pizza at a great price. The bakery goodies taste so delicious and there are so many high quality options for everyone!
I looked at their other food bars and honestly can meet anyone's needs.
I also appreciate their health food section, Joe's clothing and have even visited their pharmacy where they were extremely professional and helpful.
And after paying for my items I live walking my the floral area with the array of flowers bouquets, fresh plants and unique gifts.
It is more than just a grocery store, it is a great shopping experience.

Better know your prices.everything is good but costly. Look to being set up for pandemic permanence.

Fortinos is a great store. Prices are ridiculous, but that's what you get for shopping at a place that makes your groceries nice looking. Know your prices but they too have specials. Some things are very good!

Thanks to the PC pickup service that is offered by Fortinos I am able to order groceries for my elderly parents and pick them up with no contact. What a great service to have during this pandemic. Thank you to all the employees working during this time and keeping us stocked with groceries. I applaud you, keep up the GREAT work!

I go to this location at least 2 times a week and I enjoy my time here. Great staff that are super friendly and helpful. Clean and organized. One of the best baguettes you’ll eat are made here!

Best meat in all of HAMILTON / Stoney creek. The price is a bit higher on some things but worth tasting fresh.

I bought broccoli slaw with currants salad last wk Sunday and it tasted bad. Pungent taste and smell. Like they added olive oil that was expired. I did not eat it anymore. I had to throw it out.

They know how to gouge their customers 3.99 for a head of lettuce, same lettuce at lacocs 2.99 it comes from the same place.

Local grocery store with great selection. Also my local pharmacy with great staff who know my name and needs.

Great store very clean lots of choices friendly staff.what's not to great is food rotation it's been a few times that I had expired items that I had purchased at this location, had to throw it out. Oh bye the way 3 years straight I have been purchasing chestnuts for Christmas at this store am not kidding 2 out of 10 are worth eating.not right, especially 3 years in a row.we do all our groceries here regularly, huge at Christmas as we have 35/40 people that we host for the day.

I was very happy to see they had a very large supply of turkeys, especially the stuffed butter ball ones. Other stores I checked were sold out. Their prices were great as well.

It is my favourite place to do my grocery shopping. Plenty of parking, great customer service, fabulous food (porchetta and onion rings are THE BEST).

Clean and fresh food.you only get what you pay for!
