Fortinos

Somewhat on the pricey side, but the quality is good. Absolutely HATE the lack of signage as to where the "hidden" entrances are located-utterly stupid. I go here infrequently so it's a bloody investigation and an inevitably long walk as I always park in a seemingly logical spot that ends up being as far away as possible from the entrance. Grrr.

We love to shop there and wish there was one in Waterloo region, so we only get to shop there when we are in the Hamilton area. Love the different products they have that the other large grocers do not

Great place to stop after a bike ride on the rail trail. Everything from pizza, soup, sandwiches, sushi, poke and hot dishes as well. Also espresso & cold drinks.

Purchased a 8 inch two layer white cake from the bakery and paid $20.99. Worst cake I have ever bought. When the cake was cut the two layers were held together with a smear of icing. I understand prices are going up on everything, but when you raise the price and cut the quality you lose customers. I always bought my cakes at this location but never again.

I used to love this place over priced groceries but better quality than their sister companies BUT they discriminate and act above the law and arrest innocent citizens i will never support ue business again! Commy mfs

I purchased a prime rib sandwich with the added inclusions. I do not like beef but I am addicted to this sandwich. Try it, only at stores who have all the pre-cooked items.

Prime rob sandwiches from fortinos are the best food that exists on this planet anybody who disagrees can dm me for an adress to fight.

Bought a premade Ceasar salad there for $15
and it had ONLY the spines from the Romaine lettuce in it. All the leafy part had been removed. Needless to say won't be going back there

Large store with lots of variety of items, many not regularly sold at a regular Loblaws. Spacious and clean. Plentiful parking.

A lot about that fortinos is great, but it is definitely expensive if you don't have disposable income. I will be honest though the 'pane fresco' where you go to get fresh bread and pizza etc. The workers there have to improve their customer service. I have had 3 seperate bad service experiences. All from 3 different workers. So I'm just saying if someone asks you to use different tongs as per an allergy.just do it and smile and be kind. I am paying premium for that pizza.
Otherwise everything else in the store is great!

I saw an employee bashing at an lady that has an exemption for masks wearing, he was rude and loud, Fortinos has to know that there's a humans right code, and it seems they don't know the law! Also it was so busy in all the aisles and no one kept distance, so why not bashing at ALL the customers! Shame on you!

Fortinos is my favourite place to shop for food. They’re always well stocked and the quality of the products is consistently good. I like their fresh veggies and meat.

Ample parking, large store, huge selection. It is a one stop shop. There is a food court, bakery, Flower shop, gifts and groceries. Everything is fresh, organized and clean. It’s expensive but they have good deals, and discounts. Tried a few bakery items, all were fresh and delicious. Large selection of international goods. Staff always welcoming and nice. I recommend going to a cashier over a self check out as it tends to be much faster.

There's some legit good quality ingredients here. Not the best for a student on a budget, but it has everything you need and it's close.

So expensive but they have so much. 10% off for Mac students on Tuesdays if you show your student card! (Go on the hour though, it gets busy when classes let out)

It is just very strange that I could not find puff pastry here today! I dont get it. I asked an employee and she went to the frozen area and asked a guy stocking shelves there. He said it had been discontinued at this location. He said there were still pie shells and phyllo pasty here. Not the same thing. I needed puff pastry to wrap a beef wellington. I went to metro around centre mall and not only did they have it, they had several different brands and they were on sale!
How the heck can a grocery store discontinue puff pastry? And with autumn upon us why wouldn't we want puff pastry? Smart.

This is easily the largest, cleanest and most well managed Fortino's that I have ever gone in. Good luck trying to NOT find something here.they have it all. Beautiful store, good parking. Everything good!

The store is always very clean, well stocked and well staffed. The employees are always friendly and helpful.

This specific fortinos is nice because it has a Joe Fresh section and a PC Home section. Since the university plaza grocery store is closed it gets very busy here though!

Fresh produce and variety of grocery, baked food and even clothing is offered at Fortinos. They carry even world food and variety of grocery stuff from South Asia and middle East is available.
They atteact the immigrants looking for their traditional food stuff. This is smart way of doing business. If they carry Halal Food they even can do more business.

Really great hand-tossed pizza! This store is super clean and very well organized! The staff are friendly too!

Listen, I'm serious about my groceries. Especially my produce. Fortinos straight up has the BEST produce I've ever come across at a local grocery store. I specifically shop here for the produce. The other items they sell are pricier than other stores (even for the exact same item), but that produce keeps me coming back for more.

I take my mom for soup and a coffee, then we shop.
Nice florist inside, too.
I like the parking lot has big spaces.

Attended a dinner function in the event room upstairs. 30 seniors fit very comfortably. Hi-speed dishwasher really helped the volunteers clean up quickly. Accessible by elevator and stairs.

Matt and Kevin in the Hot Foods department were very helpful during my last visit. They were both very polite and even offered me a fresh rotisserie chicken right off the spit. Amazing service overall, I will definitely be returning again.

Ok, first, the place is ok, secondly, I find it very ok for this place, so overall, the place is ok.

Clean store - easy to navigate the store's footprint. Staff are always friendly. Huge parking lot. One stop shopping!

Nice super market where you can easily get almost everything under one roof. There is huge variety of frozen food items. You can buy wine along with some varieties of beer.
McMaster students can avail special discount of 10% on every Tuesday.

Great variety of fresh foods, frozen entrées, produce, meats, and baked goods and reasonable prices. Many sales items.

I like this branch of Fortinos as both a grocery store and a cafe with plenty of choices for meals as well as a coffee break. They are also always up-to-date on seasonal items. Perhaps my favorite area is the bakery and the Pane fresco booth - the flatbread is delicious when freshly made.

Yummy things here, I will tell you. Apples. Yummy. Pears. Wow yummy. Also has lettuce and tomatoes, good yummy. I like the way they make food it is good and yummy. I also enjoy the way yummy it is.

Produce is high quality as is the meat. Can be busy at times. They sell beer and wine as well which is nice if it saves you a trip

Usually more expensive then other grocery stores, some staff aren’t very nice either. I’ve noticed they don’t treat high school kids very nicely either

Fortinos has amazing pre-made warm food, made fresh daily. They also have a wide array of fresh breads, sweets, and organic fruits and vegetables. The market is clean and well maintained!

Today I was going to buy salmon from the fresh fish beside the deli. There was an employee wiping the glass on the display case with a spray bottle. She see me there went behind d the counter set down the cleaner and asked if she could help me. NEVER WASHED HER HANDS OR CHANGED HER PLASTIC GLOVES. As far as I'm concerned that's discustey dirty.
