The store has an amazing bulk selection. Great prices compared to other banners. Buy as little or as much as you want.

I like that they stock Partake non-alcoholic beer, but need smaller bags for the spices in the bulk section.

Paying $27 for multicolored roses on Thursday and then they die by Saturday. Wth. How old were theses before I bought them. And yes, my wife knows how to take care of roses believe me. Not impressed with the flower shop. Will not buy there again.

Good prices and diverse range of products. Would appreciate if the val de france sparkling juice could be available more often as it is a staple of my diet and I rarely find it in the drinks aisle when I visit the store

This Fortinos is located in South Oakville within walking distance for me. This location is up-to-date, clean, well staffed. They have an excellent bakery, butcher, seafood and produce departments. There is a very large selection of freshly prepared hot and cold foods to go or eat in store. The parking lot is located under the store which will keep you dry when the weather isn't. Check it out.

Bought chicken tenders from here and when I got to my home to my surprise they were dry and hard needless to say i spe t 20.00 for 12 never buying again over all I got different frozen things and gift card for balance

I’d give this store ZERO stars if I could. Produce was scarce and nothing looked fresh. Items in stock were over priced and staff looked dirty.

I've shopped at this Fortino's for years and the one thing that stands out the most is the EXCELLENT customer service. Management and Staff are always nice and try to be very helpful. The product selection always meets what I need. Highly recommend!

It's beautiful and clean with many choices. It has a few fast food and coffee counters with a nice sitting area. This place is very expensive. Attendants are everywhere stocking and cleaning. Five Stars for the store, One Star for the prices.

I go to this location on a regular base. There seem to always be an issue with pricing. It’s either the code doesn’t scan or they can’t read the code or it’s wrongly priced.
They need to work on that. It’s very frustrating. Today was the price if firewood didn’t scan and nobody new the price. I had to wait for someone to go downstairs to check. Times before were the bakery didn’t price my items correctly. Sometimes price doesn’t scan. Please rectify thank you.

Delicious, but not very filling for $10.kind of a rip off.will go to Subway next time and get a full footlong for same price, maybe less.

The customer service is seriously lacking at this store on Rebecca. Beware if you are retuning a product - they are argumentative, rude and downright told me not to come to the store. Well too bad for the two inexperienced staff bc I too have an attitude that’s bigger than theirs.

Sunday July 25.
Very disappointed on this visit. While in the produce department with my partner who is in a wheelchair we were cut off several times by employees. Particularly by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager, he was dressed differently. He had a large number of boxes/trays on a wheel cart and cut right in front of us which made my partner have to stop abruptly and turn to get out of the way. This gentleman then seemed as if we were in his way and was annoyed.
Some follow up training is needed here on how to interact with customers while on the selling floor and especially with customers with disabilities.

Clean store, very comfortable ambience for shopping. Product assortments are great. Store layout and displays are appealing. Prices are higher than discount chains, but below that of Whole Foods Market.

I had a vaccine shot at the pharmacy at 173 Lakeshore Rd in Oakville. The pharmacist, Vu L, is so diligent. Kudos to Vu!

I live in the neighborhood and shop here since 2007. I never was more disappointed like in the past couple of days. I noticed they started to sale rotten stuff: fruit (both fresh whole or cut up in containers … for example honey dew melon cut on the June 2nd and best before date on the 5th, at least that what was the label saying, it was already gone bad on the 2nd so I can deduct it was already packed spoiled), deli meats and sausages. I bought a few on Friday the 4th, today I took them out of the bags and the smell kicked me out of my shoes. I think the place started to have serious management and quality control problems. I do understand that the pandemic brought on issues hard to tackle but I do not think is impossible. I was tempted to bring the products back and have the managers taste them. I let it go this time, but I am shocked. This is the place where I and my family buy our food every 2 days trying to get the freshest. I am again very disappointed, whomever is in the managerial team now: shame on you! I should have taken the products to the Customer Protection Ontario but I think there is somebody willing to get things right fast.

This is a grocery store with top notch fruit and vegetables as well as the best fish counter in the area. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the prices are good and the fish is always fresh. You can ask to see the labels of where the fish came from and when it was caught. The staff also has many ideas for how to prepare it.

I like shopping there but don't go very often because of location and it's more expensive. The produce section is great.

I wanted a small Turkey, because this Thanksgiving dinner was just my husband and I (because of covid), they had only big ones in the refrigerator and the young man in the isle went to the back and got me a small one.the size was perfect!

Beautiful store with covered parking. A little pricey but with good quality and a great produce section. In my option one of the best versions of a Presidents Choice store and will definitely be returning. Only downside was some of the staff were not friendly. I'll be using self check out next time. However the staff at the entrance including the security guy were very helpful and inviting.

Always enjoy the fresh produce, clean/bright atmosphere and friendly staff, but was seriously concerned my last visit with lack of structure/adherence to self-distancing during our current pandemic. Substantially below standard compared to other President Choice stores we have experienced - no one-way isles, crowded store, staff not practicing self-distancing, exposure to cashiers during self-bagging. Love the store and staff, but not worth the exposure risk for now, could do MUCH better with just a few simple initiatives seen elsewhere.

We live this Fortinos it has great parking and located just near downtown Oakville. The place is well organized and clean. They serve a great breakfast sandwich and can make a mean calzone. Try it out!

Came here for lunch and it was good theirs a lot of choice, pizza, soup, salads, chicken wings, pasta etc

New franchisee, Tue at 1: 15 and I am fourth in line at the only register open. I was offered the opportunity to scan and bag my own groceries. In other words, be an unpaid cashier.

I travel 20-25 mins to shop here. I don't know what it is about the place.its super clean, well stocked, everything looks fresh, employees are super helpful and so nice.i guess its all of those things. During my shopping today i asked the butcher where something was and he personally came out and down some isle to show me, the self checkout guy came over and personally entered in all my vegetable codes so i didnt have to search and in the parking lot a boy waited for me to unload my cart to take it for me to the cart console.yes he was probably going to grab all the carts but to politely wait for me to get my cart? God i really love this store. Its not cheap, its not meant to be no frills but honestly its a GREAT store. Shop here.

Great selection and friendly staff. You can always find an employee if you have any questions. Produce quality is second to none. Only downside may be the higher prices.

I went in the other day looking for a certain coffee for my wife. I asked Mary at the coffee bar if they had any. She told me they were all out and weren’t getting it back. Mary then went out of her way and said if you like I could special order you some in but it would be a 5 pound bag. I had her place the order and today she called me to let me know it was in. That is an example of true customer service and that is how you make a loyal customer. I wish everyone had the professionalism and customer service Mary has I hope the people at Fortinos realize what a great person they have working for them.

Fortino's is alright, but they design the stores too heavily to get people to pickup items, to the point where a shopper like me, who just buys fresh for the meal of the night, has to navigate way to long to get everything. So this is no longer on my stop on the way home as I did the math, it is 7 minutes slower then me navigating Longo's. So 7x7 = 49 x 52 weeks = 2548 minutes = 42 hours = 2 days of my life I have saved.

The person in the Wine Rack who helped me with coding an appropriate Wine provided excellent service. The Wine Rack is now with the store aisles.

My go to place for inexpensive but good lunches (sandwich, soup, salads, wings) and baked goods for the team.

Another great shopping trip here. Helpful and friendly staff in every department from cheese to grocery to checkout to flowers. This store knows customer service. Especially impressed with the kind man gathering carts in the parking lot who stepped in to help unload my cart into my trunk.

I went to the lotto counter with my work tickets. I know it was a lot but Jordan was super awesome and organized. Love this store and their staff!

Higher end grocery store. Fresh produce and meat. Lots of healthy products such as organic, vegan, etc. Also carries probiotics and some new healthy foods.
