Have been a past Tenant for over 2 years, avoid this place the Landlord is extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. Silverfish all over the premises.

From start to finish, with my first contact with the leasing team asking questions about my wants/needs for school housing, to my in person tour of the building and amenities. Everything has been wonderful. The customer service has always been outstanding and attentive.
Management has always been there for every request in a respectful timely manner.
I highly encourage all Fanshawe students to look here for their housing needs while in their studies. Met great friends and built great relationships here.

Less than one star. Bad experience from start to finish. When moved in the room was disgustingly dirty. They knew we were coming out of town and it had sticky spills on the table, floor was filthy etc. We paid our rent on time and even for summer when not there. When moved out, after 4 mos.came back to say we damaged the mattress.we DID NO DAMAGE, in fact we had our own mattress cover in fear of potential bed bugs. Now they put us in collections for damage not done. Have put claim in with Landlord Tenant Board. Will NEVER recommend this place, also goes through staff quickly.surprise. Not impressed at ALL.

Foundry is a great place to live. The units are spacious and the amenities work great. The only problem i've encountered is with irresponsible tenants, who never clean, who have extra people living in our unit and they smoke. The foundry team have been very helpful in trying to solve the problem.

This is an apartment residence for students of Fanshawe college. It's a very nice building, extremely convenient and as much as it's located directly across the street from Fanshawe college

Bad things has happen to me while living here.would not recommend to live.can't trust the people that are in and out the building.just unsafe overall

This place is run by mostly students who have no clue what they’re doing, they don't care if you're roommates are causing you serious mental and physical health problems (they wont a low you to switch units) they pair you with the worst people, you pay $35 a month for cleaning and honestly I’ve seen toddlers do a better job. The units are never properly cleaned when you move in and if you're rooming with the staff they like to post photos of your dirty dishes on their very popular and very public instagram accounts. This place is a joke.

Most arrogant and rude building and leasing managers, unprofessional service to tenants, publicly yelling and verbally harassing tenants at the front desk. Have had the worst service from the managers in dealing with rising issues. A beautiful building with terrible service providers can Never be satisfactory. The managers need customer relationship training. To the leading manager, don't bother replying to this because in the last issue I raised to you, you approached me rudely as usual, didnt let me speak and said you didnt care what I had to say and walked out of the conversation before it even started so rudely plus you have done that multiple times with complaints from other tenants which you have admitted to me that you received about your attitude towards them. Such an unprofessional disappointing treatment throughout my stay at Foundry first. Worst experience ever.

The building maintenance staff always make sure to respond to my requests in a timely manner!

Really like the location, living environment and low cost here. Since the administration returned the cloning service it got even better. Clean!

Great place to live, super close to the school, near all major London bus routes, gym and study rooms inside! Super great maintenance staff!

I have two suggestions for Foundry first, first, please have winter salt budget for the walks outside of the building, it is very slippery and Dangerous to walk on it without salt. Second, please have noise control policy for all the residents living in the building, currently, unit 1004 is just crazy, we neighbors suffer a lot from them, dribbling the ball at 2am - 3am in the morning apparently just seems very common for the insane residents in unit 1004, btw, they are drunk and loud as hell. Just have staff stick to the no-noise policy between 12am -7am, anyone who violates would be fine for $2000, I believe that will solve the problem?

And I am not alone here, I am here representing all my roommates and my friends who used to live here?

Will not protect it's tenants at all! WILL ALLOW VIOLENT ROOMATES TO STAY. Do not rent here. You will not be safe in your own home. RUN

DO NOT MOVE HERE! They make it look all nice on social media but in truth it sucks. I couldn’t even make it through a full year living here. Save your money and move somewhere else. The management and staff is a joke but there’s plenty of silver fish and fruit flies around to fill in for them. It’s like having management right in your kitchen?

They also actively remove any comments on social media if you dare say anything against this god awful building, so here’s to hoping this actually stays up and people are able to see it.

I wish I had looked at the reviews before moving in so hopefully this helps someone out

I had one of the best student experiences living at F1! Staff is great, and so friendly. I enjoyed very much living in a furniture apartment with modern amenities and the best part was living steps away from Fanshawe College. I would highly recommend Foundry First to anyone looking for student housing!

I am a current resident of Foundry and I love it here. It’s close to fanshawe, they have great amenities. I’m so close to all my friends. They also host a lot of events that helps you make new friends!

I enjoy living at Foundry First because it has been a great way for me to meet new people and socialize. And I am grateful for the amazing team of CA’s and friendly staff.

Units and lobby can be nice and more modern but there are so many issues within the building that rent is unreasonable. IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA THIS BUILDING IS NOT FOR YOU, THERE IS CRAZY AMOUNTS OF DUST AND BUILDING STAFF WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP

Student housing like Foundry First is great because you don’t have to worry about all the responsibilities that come with renting an apartment or house from a landlord. It’s very convenient.

It’s hard to find anything to complain about when it comes to Foundry First. The location is perfect, the facilities are awesome, and they have so many things nearby like LCBO, Careys and Circle K.

I go to Fanshawe and Foundry First is literally like, right there. It saves me so much time in the mornings. The apartments are fantastic, and they have a gym and a movie room and the staff are always there to help you out.

An excellent place to stay, equipped with great facilities (gym, theatre). Foundry has been a very homely and comfortable residence. I loved my time here, the rooms and flats are amazing! The staff is very sweet and organise many events online and offline for residents to participate (and win gifts!). I would love to live here forever!

Foundry First is a hidden gem.it’s so comfortable. These guys keep all your needs in mind - everything you need to focus on your studies and extras to help you chill out later. The staff is very receptive to problems and were totally welcoming when I moved in.

I love how many options there are here! I’m not a very big fan of having to share a room, generally, but the rest of the place is clean and comfortable and offers so many cool features (it has a movie room) it’s a small sacrifice. There’re a lot of great restaurants around too if you want to go eat out sometime.

I’ve yet to find any other decent student housing that comes with a gym and a theatre room. Most places just give you room to study and sleep, but Foundry First gives you the option to chill out alongside. There’s the Real Canadian Superstore, Circle K, and Food Basics nearby too, and it’s close to Fanshawe College campus.

Foundry First has treated my daughter very well through her college experience. They gave her a nice place to stay for an excellent price. All staff members were very helpful on moving her into her suite. Management was also able to provide a very safe and quiet living space for my daughter to study and learn. Overall my daughter had an excellent living experience at foundry first. Jacqueline Hale and Brianna Sadler are very kind and helpful if you ever need information on the building or if you are looking to move in. I strongly recommend living at Foundry First!

The best place eve, the gym and the cinema makes this place much better, never had problems with my roommates, which i consider now good friends.really satisfied with the staff

Miss brianne is always very aware of everything and Mr.rodrigo is a person very dedicated to his work, extremely kind, cheerful and always cares about those of us who reside there; It always keeps us up to date with what is happening in the building, such as the reopening of the gym. In short, very satisfied and happy with what I have and with the attention that I recieve.

Been living here since I started studying at fanshawe, my room is fully furnished with awesome roommates that matches my personality. And its surely worth the money since they all have the amenities such as gym, laundry room and cinema. Now that I'm done with college, I’m sad to leave this building. It just had too many good memories with college and life.

I took a hit leaving my last housing and moving here but it was well worth it. I'm saving money every month and this place is way safer than my last. It's also nice to live in a place where your issues or complaints are heard and acted on. I recommend Foundry First.

I’ve lived at Foundry for the past two years and fortunately I can say that the building management is great whenever I’ve had a concern it has been addressed and resolved. The management is super approachable you can just walk down to the office and talk to anyone and they address the situation right away. They also have a lot of events for residents which adds to the student life aspect of the building. I particularly enjoyed when they had free breakfast on St Patrick’s day!

I moved out of here last year when I finished my program but haven't stopped telling people about Foundry First. The staff actually care and you can see they make an effort to keep residents happy. They have my support!

I've got friends living in a variety of other types of Fanshawe area housing and my place at foundry is by far the nicest. It's also the closest.

Some of my best memories of school were hanging out in my suite with my roommates. I was very fortunate to be paired up with a really awesome little group of young women that had the same lifestyle as me and liked to focus on school but kick back when there was time to do so. If you get the right suite and roommates, Foundry First is sure to be a great choice.

The building is wonderful! I love living here because it’s near to Fanshawe and has multiple bus routes just across the street. Also, staff are helpful and friendly. And most of the times, you just have to be open minded to figure out how good your roommates are. Also, the gym, laundry and cinema facilities are just wonderful.

This is by far the nicest student residence I've seen. There are some people that live like pigs, like there are anywhere, but my suite was always kept clean and bug free. I had great suite mates and we didn't have issues.

Very Helpful management, also very convenient living across the street from the school. Overall a great experience living here

The building is a great place to stay. The apartments are nice. I’ve been living here for years and I haven’t found any other place that can match what the building offers. And with the renovation, I can expect to see even more better things. I have referred my friends to this apartment building and they all love it too.

It is righe across the street from my school. Exellent location. Friendly and professional staff. Clean well kept building

Not a place to have your children reside if you want them to get a proper education. Almost 1 complete year of turmoil. Switch from room to room with the promise of better living conditions. Not professional at all. The managers hands are tied and I get it. Does what she can. But don't be fooled by their promises. They promise the world and promote their excellence but will not stand by their own legal binding contracts of quiet enjoyment of the living space. Everything in this place takes way too much time to solve, even when providing ample documentation of problems that occur. They hope the problem will just go away.looking to move my child out and double pay for that place and another. What's that tell you?

After a year here it's an easy decision for me to come back next. I really really lucked out with my roommates and look forward to spending more time here.

There are not too many student buildings I have seen that are this nice. It would be worth your while to tour this residence if you are looking for housing near Fanshawe.

I was originally going to live in res but decided to live here instead and I am so happy I did. My suite was fully equipped and furnished, I just had to move my personal belongings. I have several food allergies and so I loved being able to cook my own meals in the suite's kitchen.

I thought it would be a lot tougher to find a nice apartment on my budget but Foundry provides wickedly good value for their rates.

There is no question that this is an excellent choice for students who go to Fanshawe. Even if the only reason to live here was so that you could be exceptionally close to Fanshawe and still have all the freedoms of being off campus, it would still be a top choice. And Foundry has a lot more going for it, like the laundry facilities, parking and cool staff.
