Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic

The best clinic I’ve been to for sports medicine. I’ve been going for 15 years or so. The doctors are very knowledgeable, and they have on site x-ray in case that’s what you need. Knows world wide. There are multiple locations in london. I’ve only been to this one. One thing call ahead and ask to be put on cancellation list so you get a quicker appointment. Also, go 5 min early and wear shorts or appropriate attire so the doctors can check you. You’ll have to pay for parking. I think it’s $3 per hour. Get there early as it’s a small lot and you may have to park somewhere else and walk. Oh and it’s on Westerns campus so you’ll see a lot of students during the school year. I highly recommend them. Usually they’re very close to their appointment times, but sometimes you’ll have to wait a bit considering how busy they are or short staffed like it was today. But still a great place if you have a sport injury. The pictures are for nothing illl get better ones next time

I saw Dr. Putzer. He met with me for 10 minutes at the most. He gave me a referral for physiotherapy which is not covered by OHIP so I can’t afford it since I am on ODSP. He also gave me a prescription for custom orthotics even though I just got new orthotics a few months ago. I have to go back in April for another appointment with him, so another two months of limping with pain. Not impressed!

Awesome service! Everyone was so helpful and seemed very passionate about their work striving to give the best possible experience for patients.

Had an appointment with Dr. Joseph in May. He was rushed and dismissive and did not tell me the results of my MRI. I sent him an email with my concerns with no response. I then asked Adm to see another doctor, never heard back. So I guess I was dismissed X 3.
Very bad experience.

I was booked with what seemed like an unexperienced doctor who was not able to properly diagnose me. He then referred me to an insurance-milking physiotherapist to make a diagnosis for him. The latter billed for an hour and spend only 15 minutes with me, without adequately examining me or working with me on any exercises. No one asked to follow up on my condition until I had to call in again to book another appointment because I wasn't getting any better. Not sure what the standards of care are here, but care seems to be inadequate at every level. Sad that this once reputable place is coming to this.

What a fantastic team. The visit went so smoothly. Dr. Briscoe was very professional, kind and compassionate. They got me in when my own specialist couldn't. Thank you.

Worst place ever. Why do they have to make an appointment when they are not calling my name for like an hour? Seriously one hour waiting. Geez. Horrible

I had an appointment today with Brian Webb, Physiotherapy Consultant at Fowler Kennedy Clinic. Apparently, Brian was at the clinic but did not show up for Physiotherapy instead the Placement student dealt with me the whole time. I liked the work of the student however I was paying for the Physiotherapist. It's ironic after 30 minutes Brian was helping some other client. I feel its disrespectful. At least, once he should have come in to check on the patient you have time booked for?

Couldn't get an ultrasound until more than 4 weeks post injury, then they cancelled the appointment. I won't be rebooking. Free parking is officially over, another reason I won't be visiting again.

Post recovery is not as what it should be. I would imagine there to be more variety of post workouts and routines to re strengthen ligaments and your knee. I found nordic knee excersizes, and regained more strength in my knee than ever before. Sad i had to be my own doctor with researching how to get my knee even better than what it was before, with a torn meniscus and missing ACL.

I suffered from ankle pain for years and had seen multiple physicians, ED's and was never given an accurate diagnosis. I was seen by Dr Putzer and had an accurate diagnosis within two appointments! I was referred to Dr Willits for OS trigonum surgery. Dr Willits and his team were exceptional in their care and I am finally pain free and on the road to a normal life again. Thank you for giving me my life back!

Expect a full waiting room and long wait times. Staff doing little to keep tight scheduling - still irresponsibly overbooked. Unnecessary risk of exposure. Wait or go elsewhere.

The people who work here are always kind and helpful. I have been doing physio here and I have been seeing great changes in my mobility and quality of life, thanks to the professionals here. I also saw Dr. Getgood to plan a surgery to fix my knee; he is very nice and definitely knows his stuff. I would recommend anyone go here who needs help. They also have deals for western students to help afford their services.

Dr. FISHER was excellent in helping me with my arthritic knee and inflamed metatarsal. I cannot thank her and all the wonderful staff at the centre enough! Due to her professionalism and caring I was able to resume my athletic activities.

Dr Alan Getgood Is just amazing. Fixed up my knee like New. Thanks To all the staff and keep up the excellent work.

After suffering a devastating knee injury at the age of 23, Dr. Getgood has given me a second chance for an active life by preforming a multi ligament knee reconstruction and hamstring bicep tendon repair.i am 9 months post injury and i am walking without assistance, able to use stairs again, and i just completed my first 10 km hike! I am forever grateful for the medical expertise and talent of Dr. Getgood and his team. Dr Getgood is the person you want when it comes to knee injuries. Our daughter was in extreme daily pain for over a year. Thanks to Dr. Leci at the Fowler Kennedy clinic, she is now an active, pain-free 10 year old. Thank you for your hard work!

Excellent experience every visit. I have read a few reviews that were negative from people, which is unfortunate. I find this location to be an extremely efficient facility from the time you check in, to the time you exit and pay for your parking.
Other businesses within the Medical community could learn a lot from their Business Model. Well done.

Ultrasound-guided injection of Hyaluronic Acid (Durolane) and Cortisone into the left hip as potential relief to delay hip-replacement for notable OA that had been previously diagnosed with both radiographs and MRI. Probably accelerated degeneration caused by 65 years of competitive Breaststroke swimming and marathon swims up to 21 hours!
Dr Sara Neely (Orthopaedic Fellow) thoroughly explained the radiographs, conducted a full examination, explained the findings to Dr Steve Joseph, and then conducted the whole procedure. All of my questions were answered by the two doctors.
Throughout the procedure, it was wonderful to hear the full discussion of the ultrasound-guided approach to the hip, as they discussed the best approach to the joint capsule, identified critical blood vessels and identified potential problems with collateral blood-vessels that had developed.
The doctors’ interactive discussions in this teaching environment provided me with far more insight into the process and the findings with my condition.
Even with analgesics, injections (Similar to deep dental surgery) aren’t fun for me; however, hip-pain was reduced immediately after the procedure and subsequent lifting my leg to enter my car (as a passenger) was with virtually no pain in that thigh.
While a hip-replacement appears to be inevitable, the pain-reduction is still apparent two days later; however, the reduced pain has now provided a focus on the other hip which has similar degeneration and is following the same path of decline! Looking forward to see the progress over the next few weeks with my return to training in the pool and heavy gardening work.
Extremely impressed by the communication abilities and hand-skills of Dr Neely and her interactions with Dr Joseph. A perfect example of a top-class Research-Service-Teaching environment in action with the high-class Fellows that they attract.

I have been attending the physiotherapy clinic for many years. I have been completely satisfied with each encounter - initial counter staff, physiotherapy administrative staff and my physiotherapists. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, supportive and encouraging and I would refer the clinic without hesitation to anyone in need.

Called to set up an appointment, then I had to wait two weeks for care. I came 15 mins early to the appointment at 1: 45 because they asked me to. Then I waited until 2: 30 for my name to be called.

One of the best Sports Clinics Ever. Starting from the physicians Dr. Fisher has helped me through my Concussion, my shoulder Injury and my hip issue. She is patient, knowledgeable and kind enough to tell me what I need to hear and how to fix it. On to the physiotherapists, the whole team seems buzzing and seem to get along and helpful to one another. I deal with Olivia, honestly one of the best I have ever dealt with. She treats me like a friend who really worries and cares about my well being and the look of pure joy and excitement when I start to feel better honestly makes my day. Lastly, the massage therapy, Natalie is absolutely excellent. She works hard on making sure I know what to expect every session, and I always come out feeling incredibly better! What a great team of professionals!

My family and I have had excellent treatment over the years at this clinic. Everything from assessments to physiotherapy and orthotics.
Dr Litchfield provided excellent treatment and care for my son’s hockey injury a number of years ago. I always return to Brian Webb for any physiotherapy treatment and Dr Dombroski gave the most accurate assessment my daughter has ever had for orthotics at SoleScience. The support staff, especially Jan in the physiotherapy department have always been supportive and pleasant.

Had a very positive experience at Fowler-Kennedy. Brian Webb in physio therapy was terrific. The therapy has helped tremendously.

I suffered a full knee dislocation and unfortunately multi ligament reconstructive surgery had to be done. My after surgery care, treatment and physiotherapy has been exceptional. With my job, as a Cirque Du Soleil artist, I had my choice of amazing treatment centres and ultimately Dr. Getgood, Vince, and the entire staff at Fowler-Kennedy were the right choice. They were understanding of my traveling lifestyle and worked with me to build a plan for my 2 years of recovery and my eventual return to stage. Thank you all!
