Fox and Jane Salon

Andrea listened to me and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. My hair grows slowly so i was concerned but she cut off just the right amount to give it shape. She is an upbeat person and a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend her. The salon is very clean. I will return. EDIT: I brought my teenage son there with his long curly hair. Kyle was able to give it shape and style. He will also be back. Kyle is attentive, kind, and knows what to do with curly beach hair.

I went for a haircut today, and researched before to make sure they provided services for curly hair. The website and social media prided themselves with their curl specialists and with the reputation that the salon has. I trusted to give it a try. I voiced to the hairdresser my struggle to find a good hairdresser over the years and he spoke as though he was incredibly knowledgeable, walking me through all the steps and explaining his reasoning for the haircut. That talk did not translated to the haircut I got. This takes the cake as the worse haircut I have ever gotten in my life, if I even can call it that. I can't in good mind, wear my hair without a hat to hide this cut. I was given the shortest bangs, that once dried, shrunk to less than 1cm with the sides of my head looking like Krusty the Clown. The hair stylist even mention he cut the bangs a bit short but they'd grow in.
If you are going to advertise curly haircuts, make sure that your employees are knowledgeable and understand what they are doing. It is hard enough to navigate the world being proud of having natural curly hair and it is extremely devastating when someone absolutely destroys your hair without any respect or remorse. I will absolutely not be coming back to this place and advise anyone else to stay clear as well. At this point, it is literally impossible to fix this.

I’ve always struggled to find stylists who can make my very thick, dense hair workable for me on an everyday basis. Through some googling I found Lauren some time ago and took a leap of faith, and every time I visit I’m more and more impressed with what a great job she does and how nicely my hair always grows out.

I used to dread getting my hair done and put off appointments for years at a time because of how unpleasant my experiences often were (and to her credit she didn’t cringe during my first visit when years of bad home cuts meant one side was nearly two inches longer than the other!), and now I happily book every couple of months and feel no trepidation at all, just confidence that she’ll work her magic and send me home feeling confident. I can’t recommend her enough!

I have been getting a pixie cut with Fernando at Fox and Jane and am always happy with the results. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

This place is amazing. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. The stylists are patient and take their time. I've worked with Kyle and Lauren and they're both spectacular. Couldn't be happier with the result.

I love Andrea and my haircuts with her and her relaxing singing. It’s hard to deal with my wavy, thick hair and she is one of the rare hairdressers who knows how to deal with it.

Emily is amazing! She took her time to listen and suggest some options to achieve the color and style I wanted. I loved the result and love that she taught me how to style my hair for my day to day.

Today I visited F&J for the first time and had an excellent experience. I saw Melissa for a cut and some lightening and I’m so happy with the results! My cut/colour is well blended and natural looking and extreme care was made to ensure my hair was healthy in the process (Ie not over-processed). Melissa checked in on my comfort and kept me informed every step of the way. I definitely recommend this clean, bright salon and Melissa as a hair stylist.

Service is always great at this place. So far, I've gone to 3 different stylists and all have known how to cut curly hair well.

At Fox and Jane, I had a great time. I had previously gone in for consultation for a hair colour that I wanted to do, I had consulted with Kyle and he explained to me everything there was to know about hair colour and so this was my second time but first service I had booked with them, which was a haircut with Kyle and he was amazing with his techniques, skills and his suggestions, he answered all my questions and took the time to really understand what I wanted and he gave me exactly what I had in mind, love my new hairstyle. The staff was very friendly. The salon itself was very aesthetic, and clean, the location is also great, and the price is good, and it’s worth what we pay for. I’ll definitely visit again. Once again thank you Kyle and Fox & Jane for a great salon experience.

I went in to go get my hair done for prom. There was a miscommunication from my side and I hadn’t booked a updo with my half hilights. Shiva was my hair stylist and talked to the other stylist to figure out what could be done. Shiva went ahead and did my half hilights and Megan did my updo. They were amazing. They me feel like a superstars leaving the salon. Thank you both Shiva and Megan. I am so lucky to have had you both worked on my hair. I can not thank both of you enough.
