Fox Lair Stables

My mom and i payed for 2 classes, the first class we had was so bad we couldnt return.ive been riding for a long time and they treated me like i havent ridden in my life.when we got there they basically didnt let me set the horse up.when it came to the time i was riding i walked around the arena the entire time.they made me go in the middle while 2 children walked and trotted.i was on the slowest horse and they barley let me trot.overall bad experience

Steffany was amazing, she came to our house for our granddaughter’s 6th birthday party. She was great with the kids, put them at ease around the pony, a true natural with kids and animals. She was telling the kids the whole time about the pony, she took each child up and down the street 3 or 4 times, just an awesome person. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the kids will never forget it.

Took our daughter for an introductory lesson for her birthday and she had a blast.
Stephanie was awesome teaching her about brushing out the horse and tacking them before riding. We'll definitely be back

Steffany and the horses at Fox Lair Stables were great. We had alot of fun during our lesson, followed by a trail ride. We'll certainly return.

My daughter had an amazing time at this awesome farm. I wanted to thank Nicole for helping my daughter and my daughter's horse Missy. They teach kids how to groom the horses, tack them up just in case when our kids grow up they want to buy a horse. My daughter has rode the english way but it was great for my daughter to learn western there too. Their was a cute little dog and the dog's name was Sunny. I highly recommend this farm and I am definitely going back there.

My husband gave me the best birthday surprise by taking me to this heavenly stable. Stephanie and Nicole were such a delight to work with. They paired us up with the sweetest souls, Bugsey and Sedona. From teaching us about grooming them, riding them, and giving them a thank you brush, this visit couldn't have gone better. Definitely worth a visit. Count on us to return on a monthly basis.

Our daughter has been going to Fox Lair Stables for a year now for lessons. We searched high and low until we found this amazing facility. They clearly respect each of their animals (right down to the birds in the barn) and teach that throughout each of their lessons. Instead of showing up, riding, and leaving.the lessons always include caring for the horse before and after the ride. The lesson has a strong focus on animal care and respect, which is also evident in every aspect of their farm and programs offered.
When we began, we reached out about pony rides as my daughter wanted to ride, but wasn't sure about a big horse just yet. Each pony ride we attended included the work before and after the ride. They teach the kids that they have to put in the work to have the fun - and they teach them how to confidently, safely and properly handle the animals. The well-being of the animals is always first.
They teach the riders in such a positive way, really focusing on fostering independence in them while also teaching them how to best look after the needs of the horses. It develops such a wonderful relationship between the riders and horses, and creates new generations of riders who will offer the same care and love for the animals that Miss Steffany obviously does. We have happily watched our daughter's confidence grow beyond measure within this year. And have been so proud and amazed by what she is taking away from each lesson along with riding techniques - Steffany and her staff are teaching her compassion for animals and an above standard level of care for horses. I have grown up around the horse industry in Ontario, and can attest to both the good and bad in it. Fox Lair is good. I was very picky when finding stables for my daughter and they clearly operate with the health and needs of their animals at the forefront of their business. The kids absolutely love Steffany and the staff at Fox Lair, the environment is a happy and positive one where hard work and success are celebrated. The kids learn SO much! The rides, lessons and camps run at Fox Lair are amazing. I highly recommend them!

My daughters (6 &10) had the best first experience with horses today. My youngest was very scared and timid at first butSbut was amazing and helped her warm up! I highly highly recommend Fox Lair Stables!

Steffany brought 2 ponies to our house for our daughter's 3rd birthday and from the first email requesting information to the ponies being loaded in the trailer at the end of the ride, Steffany was professional, helpful, informative and FUN!

Amazing experience here! Nicole and Steffany were so interactive with our kids and friendly and full of information! They explained and demonstrated how to care for their ponies and allowed our kids to help them. They are very patient and encouraging with first time riders who are shy and timid to go on a pony. My 3 and 5 year old kids had a great experience and a very special day going for a pony ride here. We can't wait to come back with picnic this summer!
