Ordered Frank's for the first time this past year and have been a repeat customer. Love their "build your own pizza" toppings like sundried tomatoes, artichokes and proscuitto. Caesar salad and calamari are great too! Look forward to my next Frank's pizza!
Giorgio and family are the best people who also make the best pizza in the city. Go for a fried panzo or a double pepperoni (single pictured for me and the kids today) + mushrooms or green olives, simply the best.
Despite the expectations of what it says on its page of the awards, we imagined a more beautiful place, but the truth is that the food was fantastic, I would recommend putting more love into the decoration and arrangement of the place
Probobly one of the best pizzas ive had here in toronto.awsome thin crunchy crust with a very nice cheese cooked perfectly! And when your done right across the street is la paloma another toronto staple and the best gelato in the gta!
Owner is very friendly and the pizza is really good. I enjoy my fried panzos and getting it from some of the chain franchises around the city, I question the ingredients they use. When you bite into Frank's panzo, the ingredients are fresh and flavourful. You get a nice, stretchy, mouthful of real cheese. His gluten free pizza is also better than other's I've had.
Fantastic food and even better people who go above and beyond. Not only was the food delicious but when we had an issue with out delivery which frankly speaking was out of their control the restaurant did everything in their power to make things right. All I can say is they’ve earned a customer for life. Thank you so much for everything.
Ps: do yourself a favour and get the garlic dipping sauce. Yummy!
The calzone was worth the hour drive. Great food and great people serving it. Appreciate you guys standing up for what you believe, wish we had more folks willing to do the same
The calzone does not come with sauce inside, so if you order it without toppings you will get fried bread with cheese. That's it. You need to buy marinara sauce on the side. We added chourico (5 little chunks total), artichokes (barely noticeable) and onions (lots of this but the large chunks don't cook very well and it just tasted like raw onion).
The chicken sandwich had a good portion of chicken but unfortunately it didn't have nearly enough sauce so the sandwich was dry overall. That all you get bread, chicken and not enough sauce.
The cannolis however were absolutely delicious with crisp shells and loaded with ricotta filling.
We paid $45 for these 3 items which is expensive for a disappointing dinner.
Hands down the best traditional pizza and. Panzerotti in Toronto. The owners are extremely friendly and really put all of their heart and soul into making each and every single pizza they make! During the beginning of Covid they even offered free pizza's to those in their community that could not afford to purchase one!
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in Toronto. I highly recommend. Delicious crust, sauce, everything. I ate almost an entire large pizza to myself in one sitting - and I’m a small person.
Pizza taste good I don't know if this was a good picture to show after eating some of it or not but also before should better photo to take when I 1st opened it to show you what the pizza foie look like money allegedly half the cheese was missing in sauce with missing ripped off the pizza pepperoni world look like it was kind shifted over to one area When I got the pizza
Absolutely loved my experience at Frank's! The pizza was delicious and you can really see that they are passionate about making delicious food. It really comes across in the food. I would highly recommend them to all that are looking for a good panzo and pizza in Toronto.
I love this restaurant! They provide tasty food, their menu is rich, The chef in that restaurant is a specialist, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the service towards the customers is friendly. I often go to this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. Highly recommended.
Its been a long time since going to a family run Pizzeria, but coming here, the vibe, atmosphere and seeing the place being run by multiple generations at once was very heartwarming.
We asked how fresh everything was, and it was amazing to see both the calzone and pizza made fresh, right from the dough toss to the pizza ovens. The veggies and meats were fresh cut and the tomatoe sauce smelt so good. With the calzone, the ratio of filling to pastry was perfect, it was a bit overly stuffed but thats better in my opinion because as you eat, the puffyness of the pastry will flatten out a bit. The thickness of the pizza was just right, not too thin but not deep dish.
It is the first time that i call this pizzeria and i will never do it again a little seriousness i made an order with uber eat i paid 30.50 for two pizzas it said that they would arrive by 6.30 i never received them i called the pizzeria and the owner told me that it is not their problem in the end I did not have neither the pizzas nor the money back,
I very much liked the dishes and customer service, excellent area right next to my residence. The workers are always very welcoming. Will come visit again.
I started getting delivery from Frank's a few months ago, and I'm glad I found it! I've ordered a handful of times now and I keep going back for more. Tastes great, consistent and fair price.
After 55 years, Frank’s Pizza House still offers some of the best pizza you’ll find in Toronto, thanks to current owner/pizza chef Giorgio Taverniti and his supportive family. George has made sure that he follows the same pizza recipe as the original owner’s, and it shows in its abundance of taste and flavour.
Not only does Frank’s deliver pizza though: you could also buy fresh bags of the dough directly from George. I enjoy making my own pizza, and the dough at Frank’s is not only better quality than the mass-produced brands you’d buy at grocery stores, but it’s cheaper too. Highly recommended for dining, take-out, and for shopping for homemade ingredients.
Nice homey little family-run restaurant with generous portions of freshly made pizzas & calzones / panzerotti. Staff is very friendly & the owner/chef is very eager to please. We had a lovely meal of pizza, calzone, salad & beers while enjoying the warm ambience.
Wow! The service here is so friendly! I wasn't sure what to order and ended up with the calzone. The server recommended getting it deep fried if I was going to sit in and eat it right away. DO IT! The fried goodness was on a whole other level! Delicious and filling!
Panzerotto was to die for. Got takeout just after they opened at lunch, answered the phone quickly and food was ready 15 mins later exactly. Don't skip the red sauce on the side! Very friendly service, no cc fee.
We have been going to Frank's Pizza House for years! We've also had catering from Frank's and celebrated birthdays there. Amazing food and service. Love love their pizzeria!
When it comes to Italian cuisine, Frank's Pizza House delivers on all fronts. Great family vibe with delicious authentic Italian meals, whether it's the panzerotti, pizza, or pasta, you won't be disappointed.and definately the BEST panzerotti in the City! Can't wait for my next visit!
Authentic Italian cooking, attractive presentation, good wine selection, pleasing, warm interior decor with a relaxed ambiance conducive to socializing. Friendly service!
FRANKS PIZZA HOUSE is truly a mom and pop shop and has the best PANZO’S and PIZZA in all of Canada. Don’t forget to try their great tasting espresso and cappuccino.highly recommended!
Pizza was not good at all not real cheese. Pasta was ok not what I expected for a seafood dish. The restaurant itself was not warm or cozy at all. Server was great. But at arrival the lady that acknowledge us was not very friendly she was the pregnant lady bever came to us to give us menus. Overall not the greatest place in TO. Thank good for other pizza places.
Edited after reading the rage-o-holic’s response: not a fake review, I got yelled at BY YOU about the stupid fee you charge for using a credit card. I also know that you use chopped onions in heaps under toppings instead of the properly sliced onions. The crust was burnt and the delivery took more than 2 hours AND I had specifically asked if onions were chopped or sliced - anyone who cooks understands the difference. Maybe work on your food and anger management and spend less time posting angry replies here? ! Just a thought since basically every review that’s negative points out how rude you are!
Have a great day, Giorgio. Ease up on the rage.
Original review that summoned the ultra professional response from owner (?) :
The rudest service ever when phoning in orders (the proprietor has a rage issue) and the pizza took 2 hours and wasn’t what I ordered. Called to complain and got yelled at. Pass.
All I can say is that from the time I call Frank's until the time I finish my pizza.the experience is great. I have ordered from Frank's several times now. I have spoken with both Frank and Stephanie on the phone. Both very polite, enthusiastic and professional on the phone. Thorough as well. The pizza is great. I have ordered several pizzas with different toppings and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Love the rice balls as well. (I know, I know.who knew rice had balls). Anyway, would far rather patronize an independent pizza restaurant like Frank's - that is excellent - than a franchize. Better all way around! When I have a chance, I would love to dine in at Frank's. Im sure it will be awesome! Keep up the great work guys!
