I ordered takeout yesterday. Oysters and pasta were super tasty and fresh, as well as their desserts. The only thing is they forgot the two orders of focaccia bread (paid for). However, they will happily credit the missing items for another day. Importantly, I have been to Fraser’s many times over the years and each time, the service was excellent and the food very delicious!

The wait for the food was long but it was super worth it cause the food was amazing the bathrooms where small but not that dirty

Perfect little spot for brunch. A bit on the pricey side but would say it's worth it. It was quite busy when we went but service was still prompt and would consider going back.

Still a hip, happening joint. Had brunch today with my folks and the menu was interesting and appetizing. I don't usually get too chuffed about brunch but today was notable. Had the Scotch Egg Caesar Salad, which was tasty and well presented. The cheeseburger with fried egg was a good size and very flavourful.
It was very busy and noisy, even at 1pm. Too noisy for my parents to make out conversation, so maybe not a good spot for the hearing-challenged (anyone over 50!) Brunch for 5 of us was almost $200 including tax and tip, so budget accordingly. Brunch anywhere is overpriced, but here it didn't feel like I was just paying exorbitantly for plain bacon and eggs! The coffee was good too!

Went for our anniversary. Great service, amazing food and champagne was waiting for us. Can't say enough good things about the service. Kevin was a fantastic host and spot on with his recommendations. Looking forward to our next experience!

We ordered many items from the menu. Some (like pasta dishes or mushroom and duck ham) were amazing.some other just ordinary. I was disappointed by dessert (panna cotta) not good at all–just had a small bite– and expensive for what it was.
Atmosphere is too dark so you can't see the beautiful dishes and colours of the food they serve.

Excellent selection of locally sourced foods, mixed with fresh offerings from elsewhere in Canada - imaginative dishes, really great cozy atmosphere, friendly service - don't miss out on their specialty pizzas offered on the weekends - call ahead to book your order - highly recommended if you are looking for a tasty Sunday brunch in the New Edinburgh area

It was a bit expensive for brunch, but all foods were amazing.
I had poached eggs, there was tomato jam between english muffin and ham which was the so yum.
I will definitely visit again if I have friend from another city.

1st time to this Restaurant and I'm in the neighbourhood since 1 year.
I'm workin in hospitality since 12 years as a cook and server. I rarely post anything about any place. BUT today.

The brunch meal i had: Scotched Egg Caesar. OMG. Honestly the BEST meal ever had in a Brunch hands down and i've done a thousand.
I won't go into details but it was a Masterpiece. The place is discreet, without any high fancy vibe or anything but what a GEM foodwise.
I've done some Michelin Star restaurant and honestly this meal gave me an Emotion as I've not felt for food for à while, especially for brunch. I wasnt expecting that. Nothing else to say it was Exceptionnal! Thank you.

I can't wait to go again and try everything.
To any owner of the place, cherish your employees, it was just PERFECT.

What an incredible, yet unassuming restaurant! I can't believe I have never been here before until last night. Located by the edge of the beautiful New Edinburgh neighbourhood, close to the border of Vanier and downtown, FRASER is truly a gem in Ottawa. We enjoyed every bite of the food - we ordered the house focaccia with house butter. The focaccia was soft inside and has a crisp outer layer. For the main course, I ordered the ferme rêveuse chicken and pillowy potato gnocchi. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked just right, which I slathered in the mustard celery relish/jus, further elevating the taste and experience - it was the perfect blend of comfort and unexpected bursts of tanginess from the mustard celery. For dessert, we shared an olive oil cake with blueberry ice cream and fresh strawberries and raspberries. Again, everything was simply delicious and blended well without being too overpowering, I was afraid the cake would have a strong olive oil taste, but it was not noticeable at all. The food presentation was stunning, but the food was genuinely delicious. The portions could be bigger for the price though, so we had to remind ourselves to slow down because we just wanted to devour everything. We will surely be back again to try different dishes as I hear they change their menu. Thanks to the FRASER team for an unforgettable experience, keep serving up truly delicious food!

A wicked-good night out to celebrate Abbey’s Algonquin grad. Spectacular food, great wine and beer lists, very relaxed and personable server. Highly recommend.

Had the crab and shrimp pappardelle meal; it was very tasty but there was very little crab and the shrimps were the tiny ones from a can.

Cute brunch place with very good cocktails, loved the tropical Mimosa food was amazing, would definitely come back!

This is our favourite breakfast place. We hadn't been back since before the pandemic, and were over the moon that it survived. It was a spontaneous idea in the morning after our anniversary to celebrate with brunch. I was very excited to have my go-to Huevos Rancheros, and my girlfriend had an amazing dish that's new to us called Okonomiyaki, highly recommended. The experience is so calming and it's a cozy interior. We highly value that despite never making a reservation, we also never seem to wait when we walk in, and we appreciate sitting at the 2-person table in the aisle closer to the door because of that. The staff are so accommodating and have cultivated an impressive environment. I think there isn't one item on the breakfast menu we wouldn't enjoy and that's very rare for us. We'd like to try dinner at some point too

Fraser is a fantastic restaurant! Their chefs are amazing and are always coming up with interesting new flavours and dishes. Their menu is always evolving, and although I miss a few favourite dishes that eventually disappear from it, I have never been disappointed with anything I order. Very consistent, high quality, and innovative food!

I’m not one to boast about one specific place but I always find myself doing that with Fraser Cafe!
Whether you dine in for dinner, lunch or have a take away dinner you will not be disappointed.
Menu is changing constantly so when you come in you can enjoy an abundance of new flavours chef Ross has created for your palette.
I can’t say there is one particular dish I enjoyed over others because they are all packed with flavour profiles that leave you wanting more!
Cocktails & wine selection are amazing as well.
Portion sizes will leave your bellies happy.

Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious everything - from the coffee, to the toasts, to the greens. I got poached eggs (aka bennys) and they were delicious. However, my partner got the mushroom omelette and it overshone everything else, so highly recommend! Definitely 5 stars and will come back once we’re back to Ottawa.
