Good quality. Fun mocktails - a big plus for me. Relaly liked the atmosphere, and the staff were great. One of my go-tos for dining out with friends!

Everything was delicious, highly recommended, the service was luxurious, the staff was very friendly and the food was very delicious. You can't leave without trying the tiramisu.

Partially Canadian interpretations of Italian food: pizza with spinach and steak.the appetizers are very fresh: zucchini cake and baked octapus rings.the service is very attentive. Monday the wines are 50% cheaper, all wine bottles.

Overall our visit was good. The staff were fantastic. Attentive, helpful, and friendly, everything you would want at a restaurant. We were a large group too, they handled it really well.
The food was good, everyone enjoyed the flavour, it came hot and at the same time. My only complaint was that my dish, Gnocchi was under cooked, some were nearly raw dough which was disappointing. But I attributed that to our larger group and the kitchen staff trying to get everything cooked at the same time. I will try them again and adjust my rating based on follow up visits.

Reminded me so much of Italy. Very fresh and flavourful. Our server Marie was great. I would highly recommend this place. Perfect spot for date night.

We had a wonderful time on a Friday here. It was pretty busy, so I would book in advance. The limoncello spritz was delicious. We started with the large salumi board and I thought it was a great starter. The pizza was surprisingly really good. All the desserts we tried, equally great. Marsha our server was a lot of fun and took good care of us.

Busy here on Mondays it seems. Half price wine is certainly a draw.
Service was prompt and quite efficient! Smoked salmon appetizer was very good.
The main penne and sausage was tasty and filling.
Dessert was OK.

One or two steps for entry. Reservations are a must as several were turned away.

Food is good, service is very good; but there is no sound baffles, so the noise level is so high you cannot hear the people at your table. Pick a slow night.

I really would have liked to give this place a high rating. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the wine recommendation from the server was on point.

I don't know if it's because I went on a weekday and maybe the weekday crew is not as experienced, but the food was overwhelmingly disappointing. There were 9 of us, and I think the consensus was similar across the board.

I ordered the autunno salad - the roasted butternut squash was cold, the pecans were not candied or seasoned and kind of just thrown on the plate, the prosciutto was burnt, but most importantly, the vinaigrette was too potent. It went right up my nose and my tongue burned from the acidity by the end of it.

For my main I had the salmon piccata - firstly, my vegetables were undercooked. In fact, my carrot was practically raw. Secondly, my salmon lay atop a bed of spaghetti aglio olio which, in retrospect, should have been a red flag. The salmon, already a high-fat meat, had been fried in oil, and then laid on top of an oil-based spaghetti. I think they tried to cut the richness with lemon juice, in vain.

On the plus side, dessert was decent. I actually wonder if they order dessert in from somewhere else, given the difference of quality between the desserts and main dishes.

Anywho, a great place to socialize, not so much to eat.

Service was great. Lots of calamari and this pizza was good, I needed a little bit more cheese.

We just had a fantastic evening for our Christmas dinner with 18 people in the Pasquale Room. Nick was our wait staff and made sure everyone was happy. The food was delicious, the cocktails were great and they had a good selection of wines. I highly recommend Fratelli Westboro for a tasty dinner or for a corporate event. 5 stars all around!

The Neapolitan style pizza was sub par unfortunately, the dough under cooked, over handled, and / or not hydrated enough. The toppings and sauce were fantastic though, and the service and atmosphere really great.

Typique italien. La place comprend des pièces isolées pour recevoir un un groupe d'une vingtaine de personnes proche du cellier, c'est appréciable. Le choix du menu est limité mais tous les plats sont bienfaits et les portions généreuses. Les desserts sont excellents.

We went there last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were very pleased with both the food and the services. Our first time there but we'll definitely be back.

The bonus was getting parking right in front of the restaurant, we're not usually that lucky in Westboro. It was an auspicious sign!

The salmon app was great, the gnocchi delicious, the Genoa pizza a tad too burnt…then got charged twice for a bottle of wine! Mistake was corrected when notified, but still…still tipped normal just to be nice.

Service was super friendly and attentive - definitely a plus! But the food was disappointing and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. I appreciate that they used fresh pasta but it was not enough to overcome the lack of flavour or taste in the food. I won’t say I’ll never come back, but it’ll be a while before I give them another chance.

This place is great. The atmosphere is fun and the servers are all very friendly. They have two lovely open air seats at the front that are a treat when you can nab one. They offer gluten free options, including ravioli, which is rare to come by in the GF world. We really like the salads and the pastas in particular. However, the appetizers are also lovely. The children’s meal is a great deal IMO. Strongly suggest.

Very mediocre for the price. We came for a business lunch and it was hard to hear across the table, even though we were there at an off peak time. The front windows being open to a busy street didn't help. Food came out fast, but was meh. My pizza was soggy and doughy in the middle, and the salad that came with my colleague's salmon was just unappetizing. My other colleague enjoyed her pasta though.

Visiting from out of town. Kids lived the pizza, and rest of food offerings were awesome. However this is a noisy dining room.

My staff and I had a wonderful experience here. Service was prompt and friendly, drinks were lovely, food was great and as a pescatarian who's allergic to wheat, gluten and dairy I was pleased to find options for my dietary needs. Highly recommended, would be an amazing first date spot, very romantic and inviting.

Glad we made a reservation! Monday night and the restaurant was packed. The food was delicious and the menu had something for every taste (we had pizza 2x, pasta and even fish!). Our server was amazing and very attentive even though it was extremely busy. It does get quite loud and hot inside but the ambiance was enjoyable nonetheless.
Will go back to try another pjzza

Great tortellini, extremely disappointed with the portioning, just charge me more if you have to but I was just getting started when I was done with the meal

When I arrived at Fratellis for lunch today, I was told that the window seat that I had reserved and that was confirmed on line was no longer available to me and my guest though I had followed up by phone 1/2 hour before arriving and confirmed again that the window seat that I'd reserved was in deed assigned to me, however when I arrived I was told it was no longer available to me but assigned to a party of 5 - essentially my party of 2 was bumped for a party of 5. I was told there was a miscommunication! Apparently that's standard practice @ Fratellis but was definitely not ok for me. No return to Fratellis in the works. Not.that they care apparently.

Not recommended unfortunately. Our reservation was at 7: 30PM and it was nearly 9: 30PM before the food arrived at the table.

My parents and partner went as a group. The service was great, food was delicious, such a great atmosphere. Definitely would go here again! My only complaint was that they kept the door open and it was quite cold.

Very delicious pizza and pasta. I'd recommend the mushroom pizza to any mushroom lover. Their tiramisu was also pretty big. I was expecting smtg smaller. The service and ambiance was also great and the location is nice. Finding parking around the area can be somewhat of a pain but it isn't too bad.

We got the Fusilli and the Cannelloni. Fusilli was very bland and didn’t have much taste. The sauce in Cannelloni tasted bad and the meat didn’t taste very good either. The restaurant was really noisy as well. We won’t be going back: (

Good service and food was well cooked, but the mains were under-seasoned, and lacked real flavor or depth. None of the four mains our table had 'hit the spot' for our Italian craving, nor did they leave us wanting to comeback. The appetizers and cocktails were the highlight of the meal.

It was my birthday and I was treated to lunch by my office colleagues. I enjoyed the food and the company. Very good?

Here to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. Delicious as always. We've been coming to this location for what seems forever and never once had a issue. Well worth the hour drive for us.:)

Went to this restaurant for my birthday with my mother today… My friend told me to go to his restaurant. And oh my goodness, one of the best in Ottawa. The decor and staff are very pleasant. The Calamari and Penne was amazing! Will be coming back here. Tanya was a great cook.

Good service, tasty pizza and pastas. A bit noisy for my taste, but that could be fun for many.

Went in with grandbaby after the beach for late lunch the staff was great got her order in right away for some cheesy pasta, we had salad and basic margherita pizza and everything was delicious, i would love to share the pasta smile from my granddaughter but take it from me me it was a special moment. Thanks guys keep up the good work

Update 1:

Editing my initial review based on the service we were offered yesterday, the 8th of August 2022. We walked in for dinner around 6pm and we were turned away by the lady in the front citing the reason that they’re really busy at the moment (with plenty tables still free) and were asked to come back by 7: 30 pm the earliest - not sure if it was because we were the only non- whites expecting to be seated or if that’s their general norm.

We came out and dialled the number for the reservations and magically they had a table available in the next 10 mins; she was clearly surprised when she realised our accents didn’t match our skin tone when we walked back in.

Anyway, we got seated and our server for the night came in and we placed an order for our regular pizza which we always ordered before; asked to substitute Zucchini with sun dried tomatoes - again something we’ve always asked for and have been granted despite the rush. He curtly told us that they don’t alter any requests on a busy night assuming this was our first time in there. When we request him to at-least check in with the chef he shrugged and went off.

We had some questions about the beer and he again curtly said “ oh that would be an extra “ as if assuming we won’t be able to “ afford “ the price difference. Another humiliating experience to add on to.

We had to request for breads thrice before a kind lady decided to bring them in for us - our server clearly didn’t bother to be attentive.

Having attended Fratelli’s plenty of times and recommending them to our friends and family - we were certainly appalled by the level of service last night. We don’t think we would want to return to an experience of this sort anytime again which is a shame. Leaving a single star on since the food has always been delicious.

First time here! Decor was really neat and the service was exceptional. No fault of the restaurant's but we found the atmosphere really loud and I could barely hear across the table. Do not come here for a quiet, romantic dinner. The fried zucchini was the best I'd ever had. Paired with the herb aioli it was amazing. I had high hopes following this, but I ordered the linguine pescatore with shrimp, scallops and salmon and was disappointed. They put 2 large shrimp, and then the rest of the pasta was tossed with mini salad shrimp. I imagined the scallops would be 2-3 large nicely pan seared scallops, but instead received maybe 5 what tasted like previously frozen bay scallops, so very tiny. The salmon was more plentiful and was cooked tender. It was super anticlimactic in terms of a main. I tasted the linguine on its own and the white wine garlic cream sauce tasted like just cream, not much flavour, for $30 I expected more. My guests Penne picante was also only ok. Overall, ok. I would go back for drinks and apps but I was definitely expecting more.

Food was good. However there was a party going on and unfortunately all the waiters gave them all the attention. I probably won't be going back.

Really enjoyed my dinner here tonight. Our server was so nice and the food was DELICIOUS!

The only negative point was that I had found a metal bristle in my chicken after taking a bite. Luckily it didn’t scratch or injure me, but that was still a bit of a scare.

Outside of that it was a wonderful evening! Would totally go again.

This place has the best wood fire oven roasted pizza we've had in a long time. Great service and great food.

Had a great experience with a group of friends at Fratelli on Richmond. Everything about the evening was perfect. We were lucky to get Brooke as our servicer and she was exceptional. Brooke was super friendly, efficient and professional. The quality of her hospitality and attention to detail was flawless. The food was perfect with nice size servings at reasonable prices. Great wine list. The dining room has a nice ambiance.

Dropped in forb a quick dinner with no reservation and we were lucky to get a table, and yeah the food was amazing. The staff were courteous to explain us all the food questions we had. The food was so good that I have all the good reasons to believe thar it's genuine Italian way of cooking.

This was my birthday dinner so we decided to order out. I love Italian food. I had the lasagna. The portion was very good and I have leftovers for tommorrow. It was the lasagna was the best one I have ever had in Ottawa, and one of the best ever. My wife had the gluten free penne with Italian sausage. It was very good although the portion could have been better.

We will be back and I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone that loves Italian food.
