Our experience with Vescio Homes was exceptional. Our initial introduction with Dave made our family feel openly welcomed. Rachel organize my father’s photos, videos and helped me cope with my father’s passing.
The entire staff was great. From the parking lot chauffeur golf carts, to the entrance greetings from Isabella & crew and the complementary snack bars. I also requested to drive my car at the front of our church to play my father’s favourite song “unchained melody” one last time. My family and I could not have asked for such a remarkable send off for my father. Thank you Vescio Homes for creating a setting that our loved ones truly deserve.

In a time of despair with the loss of my mother, we went to Vescio. Although this is a time I would rather forget, there is no one else, and nowhere else that I would trust this type of service ever again going forward. Words cannot do justice for the care, and service that we received from this funeral home. They really go above and beyond anything that anyone would ever expect. Not only from the services they provide, but from the compassion of each and every staff member involved. I will never forget, what they did for my family during this difficult time. From the moment I walked into the funeral home to plan the service to the moment that we had to send off documentation for discontinuation of health card, and social insurance numbers I received the best, most courteous service ever that I would have imagined. If I could give more than five stars to this location I definitely would. My whole family was cared for as was my mom who was resting. The funeral day was well organized, well timed and the dove release was so beautiful. Thank you thank you. It’s exactly what my mom would have wanted and then some. I will never forget how in this time of sorrow, you made us feel that we were honouring my mom in the best way and in the way she truly deserved. God Bless you all!

Our loved one. Although I was not part of the immediate family and did not partake in making the arrangements I still wish to thank you for making the experience as peaceful as possible for them. All information regarding timelines, when and how the next step would take place etc was relayed in a sympathetic & compassionate manner. All staff were very attentive and sympathetic from the moment I arrived until the entombment. These days are never easy but your services helped our family honour our loved one the way she deserved and I thank you

My family and I couldn’t be happier with the service at Vescio. My husband passed away and his wishes was to come to a funeral home in Woodbridge. We are so glad that we chose Vescio. The staff is incredible, always asking if we need anything. Everything was perfect to the setup and care taken. To the pictures and even a blanket with my husbands picture. I’ll never forget how smoothly the day went. They even delivered all the flowers to our house. Now who does that? Thank you so much. You deserve a 10 star+. Thank you.

I lost my beloved Dad recently and we entrusted Vescio for a traditional Italian service. Wow! Absolutely incredible, beautiful service. Classy, loving, empathetic staff who made sure we had everything we needed, every second, every minute we and our guests were there. I never imagined such an amazing funeral service, I’d been to hundreds and this was incredible!
The staff made us feel loved and really doted over us, it was beyond amazing. Vescio gives a 10 star service and is very reasonably priced. Everybody must consider Vescio for end of life services.

Response to owner: I'm frankly astonished and disappointed by your suggestion that my review was a setup by a competitor. This accusation is completely unfounded and dismissive of my genuine experience. I assure you, my observations and feelings are my own, and I have no connection whatsoever to any competitors. It's troubling that instead of addressing the issues I raised, your response attempts to discredit my honest feedback. I saw what I saw, and it was not a figment of my imagination. The suggestion to discuss this over coffee is not something I'm interested in. My intention in writing the review was to express my true experience in hopes of informing others, not to slander. It's disheartening to see my concerns brushed aside rather than taken seriously.

My review:
Attending a funeral is always a somber occasion, and the last thing one expects is to be met with insensitivity. Unfortunately, my experience at Fratelli Vescio Funeral Homes Ltd St. Padre Pio Chapel was less than satisfactory.

While I respect that there might be protocols to follow, the pushiness of some workers was quite unsettling. My partner chose not to approach the casket, a personal choice that should be respected. However, as the time neared to close the casket, certain staff members were insistent that we approach immediately, disregarding our feelings.

What I found even more disheartening was the haste with which some workers began dismantling the room setup while the casket was still open and family members were mourning. Such actions felt premature and extremely unprofessional. The sanctity of the moment was further disrupted by staff members who were on their phones or engaging in light-hearted conversations, which felt out of place at a funeral setting.

Additionally, I was informed that the individual responsible for the funeral arrangements was immediately pressed for payment upon arrival. Such an approach lacks compassion, especially during a time of grief.

While there were staff members who were professional and courteous, the actions of a few overshadowed their efforts. Although I wasn't particularly close to the deceased, had I been, the behavior of some staff members would have been even more distressing.

In such a sensitive environment, I believe it's crucial for all staff to exhibit the utmost professionalism and empathy. I hope that no other family has to experience what we did during their time of mourning.

Thank you for the dignity, grace, elegance and comfort you provided our family. We were in such good hands at your Woodbridge location. Please thank your entire staff for us including, Ryan and the limousine drivers (I really wish I had the presence of mind to ask for names) who were all so amazing. We were mourning the loss of our beloved Vanessa that passed away recently at a very young age of 16. The total staff performed a fantastic role in their duties. Although one employee named Amanda Caravaggio stood out from the other employees. Her attention to detail, professionalism and compassionate/loving heart is an unforgettable trait. Our family personally thanked her for her service and role during our difficult time.

We just had my dear Nonno’s viewing and funeral services here at Vescio. While of course we were crushed and devastated over his death, everything was very organized and all the staff was amazing and very comforting throughout the entire process. The place had a comforting atmosphere and everything ran smoothly and on time. Everyone at Vescio was amazing and I’m very thankful for them:)

I lost one of my parents very suddenly a few months ago. My family and I walked into Vescio funeral home in a daze and not knowing what to expect. Laura and her staff took care of every single detail. The Vescio staff are professional, sympathetic, and incredibly supportive. The viewing and service were beautiful, every detail carefully planned out right down to a coffee cart which was completely unexpected and appreciated. The premises are impeccably clean and aesthetically pleasing.
Thank you Luigi Vescio and staff for making this very difficult time a little easier to get through. Your compassion and dedication is beyond measure.

This was my first time that I had to deal with a funeral home for my dad S. MELE who passed away Friday January 27 2023. I want to thank all the staff the whole Vescio team for the amazing job and caring for my family. Unfortunately, we recently lost our grandfather, we used vescio to honour him. They were amazing. Brad was very compassionate and caring the entire day. Very warm. We appreciate the amazing send off for our Nonno.

Saying goodbye to my father was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. During the time we planned his funeral at Vescio Funeral Homes in Woodbridge, the whole team was compassionate, patient, sympathetic and loving. It felt like family. They helped make everything move along smoothly. All of the big and small details were taken care of by their team. I never felt rushed to say our goodbyes during the funeral. Our dad would have been so happy with everything we planned. He was sent to the heavens like the gentleman he was.

My family mourned the loss of my Nonno Salvatore at Fratelli Vescio. The entire experience of losing a loved one is so difficult, but the funeral home did such a great job with providing compassion, patience, and sympathy. The entire team were committed to making sure everyone was taken care of with sweets, mints, masks, sanitizers, personalized coffee beverages, Kleenex and so much more. This was a great funeral home that provided comfort with attention to details. Added a picture of George, the cute bird that hangs out in the upstairs lounge. He was great at uplifting everyone who was taking a break outside of viewings. This place is also stunning.

Vescio Funeral Home is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The service is exceptional, everything was done so well, that it allowed our family to focus and process the loss of our loved one. Planning a funeral is never easy. Sadly, Both our parents passed away within two months of each other and we were overcome with grief. The the visitations/funeral service for both my parents was exceptional to say the least. Louie and his team were very comforting, professional and compassionate.
