Good company. However, the location at the plaza we went to was really understaffed and we had to wait a long time to get our request looked after. Not the fault of the employee who went out of her way to help us. She was awesome.

Very nice store. The transaction of porting my number to Freedom Mobile is quick and without any issue. The young lady who helped me is very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

They have started defrauding customers, issuing invoices other than the agreement, and giving fake offers. Contacting support does not help. I do not recommend making a deal with them.

He was very courteous and helpful and went out of his way to find me the best deal possible.
Definitely appreciate his help and I certainly recommend this store and Freedom mobile.

I bought the iphone from freedom mobile carlingwood mall recently and I would like to share my experience. I went there on reference from my friend who told me their service was really good and I wasnt disappointed. The name of the staff who attended me was Harsha and she explained me each and everything about the price and features of the mobile. I just went there to buy a mobile but I was satisfied by their plans and decided to go with plan+mobile which was also explained in details by the staff. I really appreciate the service and will recommend it to the people I know.

Let me see if I can summarize briefly, no 5G road because Shaw didn't enter any 5G bids this year because they're being purchased by Rogers pending CRTC approval which means we're back to a big three in Canada only. Happen times. The worst support within the industry with every bloody support call answered off shore. Want my honest opinion of Freedom mobile? They can get bent and then go in a corner and die. Any clearer? Hey Freedom, want sell me another 5g phone?

Unfair repair policy - upgraded to a new phone - Phone had screen defect one month later - brought to repair center and was told outright you won't get back your screen protector that you paid $25 if we have to replace the screen. So if the client drops the phone, they will make you pay for the repair, but when it's not the client's fault they refuse to pay the full cost of the damage? So unfair!

If you have Lui be careful. When we were comparing plans with 500MB VS 1GB of nationwide network (I included a photo), he never told me that it means you get that much fast data, and then past the amount you wouldn't be charged, it would just be slower. As a result I almost bought the more expensive plan with 1GB of nationwide network. Then I spoke with his co-worker as he was processing it, and his co-worker told me it was perfectly fine to get the other. During the same transaction, the phone I ended up choosing came open box and he said he'd make it up by helping me find items to redeem (you get store credit for open box phones). It looked like he was going to sneak a small thing for me, because I never actually picked it out myself, he just put it in my pile. The items I wanted were over the credit limit so I paid the difference. Now I'm 3 weeks past my purchase and I happened to notice on my receipt that he charged me for the small thing (a screen cleaner), which I would never buy because I have all that stuff at home. He's a snake who holds back information and who tricked me into believing he'd include it 'on the house', they're no different from gym salespeople. Oh he also didn't tell me my first bill would be way higher than the others. So make sure you check everything twice and ask many different associates.

I had concerns about my bill. They indicated at the kiosk that they have no details to share on the bill and could only take my money (terrible setup, but not sales person's fault). Subsequent call to 611 shows that this lovely carrier elects to charge 10 cents for every time I text OC TRANSPO to find out when the bus is coming (OC TRANSPO specifically indicates on their site that they don't charge for the service, so this is a service provider gouge) Also, agent demanded my PIN after I'd already keyed it into the IVR. Apparently this is a 4-day old policy that hasn't been communicated yet. Terrible client experience overall. Very sketchy indeed. Been a faithful client for years. Definitely reconsidering my options

This particular store is a shameful representation of the Freedom mobile as a corporation in whole. A very bad apple in the tree, so to speak. With a poorly trained rep there by the name of Omar, who is constantly coercing and pushing clients who walk in there to purchase stuff they may not need or want, even after they have clearly said "no" several times, and are only looking for a specific item or items.

There are 3 reasons to never use Freedom Mobile esp Freedom Mobile Carlingwood.

As of now I'm told the manager has gone away for the next week. Left in his place is employee X. Last week the mgr was there but too busy all week to assist me in the store or return calls. Last Tuesday Employee X told me that the solution to my phone not working (i bought it new from them 6 months ago) was to take this piece of paper he wrote on, go home and log in to the website he wrote down, Asurion Insurance, to whom I pay $9 a month, send them $250 and they would send me a new phone. I decided to then go to a "used computer shop, " instead, to see why my phone wouldn't charge. Message that kept coming up on my LG phone was moisture was present. (Turned out to be completely untrue tho I spent hours trying all the solutions the LG popup notice suggested.) Sure enough, the solution was to purchase a new charging cable for $9.00.
Phone's been working fine ever since.
I left messages for the next few days, thinking the mgr should know what his employee told me to do, & other customers should know the popup message was a lie if they too choose an LG, but the mgr never returned any of my calls.
Separate reason to not use Freedom: Every month I've called the 1 877 number of Freedom to ask them to bill me please. I said I only get late notices by text. Never the bill.

For 6 whole months I've only gotten late notices and I phone every month to complain. They say they will correct that but it never happens. I manage to receive late notices by email but can't get the bill sent by email. Employee said they can only bill by text. (Even in text I only get late notices.)

Next call I escalated to a supervisor. Supervisor said that wasn't true at all. Said I would hear from them in 3 to 5 days from their IT dept. Heard that one before.

Last reason to not use Freedom: in the app for Freedom on my phone the total bill is not broken down. You press download bill and nothing happens. Nothing downloads. Nothing in my file mgr downloads. The fact I pay for insurance doesn't even appear in the documentation let alone the tax.

I strongly recommend Telus. They do bill by email. Virgin is owned by Bell. You might want to avoid Bell and Rogers if you don't want crazy high fantasy charges added to your bills that take forever to get sorted out if at all.

I was treated in a very ill mannered way. I stood there for 10 min. Maybe 15 while neil was on a personal call to girlfriend "love you too". He asked my phone number and I couldnt remember it, as I only had it for 2 days. And his responce was " gee for someone in such a hurry and you cant even remember your phone no. First all I had just opened the account and didnt know how thing were ran yet or I would of had my phone no ready. Second any other place ive delt eith all you needed was your name and they did the rest. So I came very close to close me my account but I simply said I would never deal with him again.

I came in at 8: 40 to pay my bill and the service rep named Neil had already closed off the cash and was rude as if I was bothering him, refused to help me and forced to make me wait for the other service rep to finish with another customer, who was purchasing a new phone and taking a long time. Horrible customer service and unprofessional behavior. If the store hours say open until 9: 00 they shouldn't close the cash until after 9: 00. People like Neil shouldn't work in customer service.
