I had an absolutely great experience at this location. I came in to get my new cell phone set up. I came in wanting a specific plan. They explained everything to me in detail. I got a plan that worked for me and even got some great discounts. I would definitely recommend this location.

I’ve been a customer for more than 4 years and my experience at 652 Sheppard Ave West was very bad. The store was extremely filthy with dust everywhere, used tissue on counters and a very messy front desk. If that can be cleaned out, I believe it will attract more customers. Also, the agent was extremely unprofessional! Agent ID: Manish D served me with absolutely no professionalism at all. Not even a “Welcome” gesture. He was slouched over his chair, didn’t bother providing me with details about the phone plan and didn’t check inventory availability for the device I signed up for. With my trade up I had to return my phone, and so I did. As soon as I hand it over to upgrade, he tells me that the phone I’m upgrading to is not available and I had to go to another store for it. I was left without a phone for a while trying to navigate my way to a different location. Manish also did not give me my old SIM card so I had to purchase a new one ($45) at the other Freedom store to get my new phone.

Overall, my experience was extremely terrible at 652 Sheppard Ave W. I will never go back there again.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service here. I have been with freedom for over 8 years until now. This particular Freedom store is not the place you want to go to for genuine help. I went to the store to get input and help about my service and how I get very poor service everywhere and in the place I’m living in. I said it could be my old iPhone XR and the service is bad and I don’t want to switch providers and maybe a new phone would help with the device. Instead of telling me any advice or help or troubleshooting actions, the person, Abhishek, immediately turned towards selling the phone and made me believe it could have been the old iPhone. I ended up leasing the phone 14 pro and after a few days, I realized the new phone didn’t help with the service at all and I wanted to return it but I wasn’t able to so I had to buy it or lease the iPhone 14 pro for the 2 years. When I purchased the phone, I wanted to cancel the service too and only then when I was about to cancel, he mentioned that I can turn “data roaming” for better service when I’m out in the rural areas and the US. Instead of telling me this before I even leased the phone, he told me this only after I purchased the phone. I could of saved a lot of money as you can imagine. But they do not care. Regardless, freedom service is horrible. This freedom store is not the place to go if you need actual help. I really advise you to find a better store. I usually had no problems with other salespeople at Freedom but this particular store is not the right place for genuine service. Also when you are about to cancel the phone, they say they will give you a 10$ discount because they know their service is bad and they want you to stay.

I just have to say why is the heat like almost at 5 million degrees. That was abnormal. That mixed with the body odor smell in the store was unbearable. I had to leave. Just, why? Why?

Worst store i ever visited.
One employee is not ready to take others responsibility.
He asks me to come back next day for the guy whom I talked earlier.
No one have time for this stupid stuff.

Great customer service and very helpful staff. Avoid going during peak hours if you need to discuss and make a decision at the store.

Personally, I felt rushed the first time I visited as there were customers waiting in-line behind me.

Next visit was perfect. I went around afternoon 1PM and there were no customers other than myself.

Also, I got a further reduction of 5 CAD per month (apart from the digital autopay discount) when I requested the staff for it.

This place was very helpful and really kind people i recommended people to go here if they have a freedom plan

Best Freedom store to get amazing customer service. Was shave wifi connectivity problems after resetting my iPhone 7. Called these guys to see if they were open and they were very kind.

Hooked me up with the iPhone 12 mini after telling them what my problem was with my phone. They mentioned all the discounts I will be getting and also how much my first bill will be so I don’t get surprised. Very professional and kind!

I rarely post reviews this low but the gentleman at this location was very rude. I came here once before to pay my bill and their approach was not welcoming. The 2nd and last time I came here I did everything online and over the phone, I was visiting to receive my promotion that I can only get in store. The only gentleman there said it's not how it works you cannot get it, after I explained myself for 10minutes I did everything prior online and over the phone he shut his mouth and "looked into it. " After realizing his mistake he said nothing to me except for "it's done. " Who does that? I'll pay for this man's manner classes every Wednesday at tim Hortons so he can better serve freedoms customers.

I visited this store last week to get phone for my kid. Freedom has some amazing promotions for iphones at 0$. My kid is using freedom service since a week and it works perfectly fine i feel i should join too as fido is ripping me off. Abhishek and shalesh were very patient and helped me understand all the plans and promotions. Good job.

This is the best location to purchase phones, I bring all my family members over here. Shailesh always helps me out to get the best deal, he also helped my mom to transfer all her data from her old phone.

Shaleish was terrible. We usually buy phones annually from the owner of this location and he always helps us out. This time, we bought from Shaleish and he wasn't helpful at all. One of the employees kept telling us that they only had a green phone left at the back, and Shaleish said they had every colour except green.what? Can you please check the back and verify instead of speaking nonsense? Terrible service. What happened with the owner? Does he still work here some days? I know he opened another business the past year but I would stop coming here if I know he's no longer around. Won't ever buy from Shaleish again.

This store is always so busy, but still it's worth the wait. Also referred a friend and got myself discount. Shailesh, my man is amazing. Good job.

We switched from Koodo. Being their customers for years and seeing their rates going up like crazy. We got the best deal. $50 for 13 gigs, more than three times than Koodo, unlimited talk ant text plus international texting. Roaming in other countries is half price from Koodo's. Now we need to see the service.
The guy in the store was very nice and informative and took a very good care of us. We already use their services for another family member and the employees in this store are always nice and professional

I am being very generous with 3 stars, despite extremely poor personal experience. You come, you get served. Do not expect any bones thrown your way. Rules are rules, nobody cares if the loyal customer is unhappy, even if the rules are unclear. Come here only if you already know what you want.
