Ralph at the Freedom location in the OC helped us out today and he was great! He explained everything clearly and it was a quick and organized process to move two plans over and create a new one! LOVED that he saved us some money by suggesting that the person who referred us “refer a friend” on their site so I would get a $25 credit and so would they!

Me and my mom went yesterday to pay for our bill and somehow we decided to both get new phones and renew our contract. Rishi, the man who assisted us was AMAZING. He has awesome customer service and explained everything well. We would not have bought new phones if he didn’t do his all to give us amazing offers and discounts. He is truly amazing at his job

I went to this Freedom Mobile location with my daughter today to get a new phone and was assisted by Appy who was an amazing representative. I called the store to check if they had the phone I wanted. I spoke to Ralph, he was very friendly and helpful over the phone. He put the phone on hold for me as it was the last one in stock. I made may way there and spoke to him in person, he again was very through on the process, explained all the costs and the details of the purchase. Very satisfied with the experience.

I recently went to the store with questions about Freedom Mobile's plans, coverage, and phone options. Ralph was there to help answer all of my questions and made the whole process a piece of cake. He was incredibly friendly, took the time to cover all my options and clearly knew his stuff. He was definitely a stand out amongst the other companies I spoke with. I don't write many reviews but honestly I'm really impressed!

I walked in there to what options I have for getting a plan for my dad. I have been with another provider for years and I wasn’t too keen on changing the plan/provider. After speaking with Ralph, It was clear that I was paying way too much for the plan. Ralph was very knowledgeable all services and offerings, to top it off he very friendly; at any point I didn’t feel he was pushing me to change my existing plan so he can get my business. He took his time to explain everything to me, even suggested a better plan than I had thought of getting (saved me even more $$$) and enabled me to choose what works for me with the knowledge he provided. It’s very hard to find an honest and friendly services these days, I’m delighted I had come across Ralph and Freedom’s offerings. I unquestionably will refer my friends and family when they need a mobile service!

I had the best customer service today. There was 2 men helping me and my husband pick out a new phone. They were both very knowledgeable and went the extra step to break down my billing summary with 2 scenarios. Going forward I will only make my purchases and this location!

Immature and rude staff. I was frustrated that my ID wasn't sufficient enough to acquire a new phone. They laughed and made jokes as I left the store, completely unprofessional and unwarranted. Seriously considered dropping freedom as a provider with how unprofessional these jerks were.
Had to visit another location where they were happy to assist and now I have a new phone.

After waiting in line for 20 minutes we were greeted by Nick. He was very aggressive when greeting us and uninformed about the promotions being offered by Freedom. He gave the impression of wanting to be anywhere else but at his job and was completely disinterested in delivering any level of customer service. Was I irritated at his aggressive behaviour and lack of knowledge about company promotions? You bet. However, he doesn't need to worry because I will be taking all of my business to another store. The store manager was not onsite but I have also made a complaint to head office. Nick does not seem to be best suited for working in customer service. I see several other complaints specifically naming Nick so I am not holding my breath that anything will come of this review. However, I feel it necessary to warn others about Nick as his behaviour towards customers is unacceptable under any circumstances.

My mother who is elderly and has been with freedom for years, upgraded her phone on Sunday, came to me stressed out because she is not tech savvy. She was sent off on her way with her new phone in hand and not activated.
Expected her to insert sim, transfer data and activate her new cell phone. Seriously!
COVID was their excuse- they cannot handle the phone: (
So I took her to freedom location in Whitby
They were shocked. They gladly got my mother’s cell phone up and running

First of all a girl named Crystal has NO customer service skills.who needs to smile more at least when greeting customers. This is the kind of “supervisor” they hire? She was rude when answering questions and told my mom she had “already answered that” when my mother asked for clarification; instead tells us to call customer service because nothing could be done for us. When i ask for the manager.even worse; he has us waiting for a long time without even acknowledging us or letting us know he’ll be with us within whatever given time needed. He was just standing there watching another agent speak with some other customers. We left and as we left I saw him look at us with a smirk as if something were funny.horrible customer service, and so unnecessary. Never been so disappointed. Things like this make me switch providers like these in a heart beat.

The associates are not knowledgeable.

Sales is the only thing that matters to them.
Nicholas is rude and robotic and clearly has an attitude problem. He does not enjoy where he works, and it shows.
Manager does not act like a manager. Zero skills.
Rude and horrible customer service with no appolpgy when they are in the wrong.

I recently got a Phone on a plan. They only had an open box version of this phone available which I took but was told I could bring back within 15 days if I was unhappy. The device had a tiny scratch on the top right corner. (Didn't make a big deal because it was an open box) Anyways, a few days later I decided to return the device as I wanted to use apple instead of android but when I took the device in they said they cannot take the device because of the small scratch on the top right corner. I tried to explain that it was an open box and the scratch was there already but the employee was very rude and said it is his word against mine. Extremely unhappy and wont ever be using Freedom Mobile ever again.

Hy This branch of freedom is very bad there is a person named Nick who doesn’t treat anyone with respect I went to him just for a query regarding a phone I bought yesterday and he greated me in a very bad way as there is a big line to line up even if he was standing free and looking at everyone like a statue just look like he doesnt wanna do anything. I will suggest freedom to fire this guy. Im also gonna complain about it to freedom. It was a worst experience being there as a customer

I recently went to the Oshawa Centre Freedom Mobile store during their Black Friday sale to switch my cell phone provider and I was very impressed with the service I received from Mohammed.

There was a small line when I arrived, which was understandable given the sale they had on, and I only ended up waiting about 10 minutes before I was able to speak with a sales representative. Mohammed was friendly and knowledgeable, and explained every step of the process to me. I was very impressed with the quality of service and the time he took to explain everything to me given the line, but within about 15 minutes he had switched over my phone number, started the syncing process on my new iPhone and arranged automatic payments for my new cell phone service. Additionally, Mohammed threw in an additional 2 GB of full speed data for a total of 18 GB, which was very nice of him.

I had done a bunch of research ahead of time, so I knew which deal I wanted and what I should be paying, and I was happy to not encounter any surprise charges during the transaction.

I am enjoying my new iPhone 11 Pro and my Freedom Big Gig plan and would highly recommend Freedom Mobile and this store in particular for prospective shopper. I'm happy to have been able to get a top of the line iPhone with a huge data plan for drastically less than any of the other service providers could offer on Black Friday.

This review and its 5star rating is not a reflection of the carrier. This review is a direct result of a product specialist at the Oshawa Center. After multiple let downs from the company and the customer service I received it was very nice to see an individual go above and beyond for the customer. Nathaniel is a agent at the Freedom mobile store at the Oshawa Center. He took the time to research and find an upgrade for me based on my needs. He did what was best for me and not what was best for the pockets of major players. I appriciate the effort and as a result of Nathaniel's efforts I am still a Freedom customer. Well done! Freedome mobiles loyalty department should take lessons from the agents on the front line on how to treat a customer.

I feel it would not be fair to post a review since my daughter Stephanie works there but for like anything, before you shop for a new phone and plan, shop around and compare BEFORE you make your final decision. Plus only get what you REALLY need and will use. Doing your homework before hand will save you money in the long run.

So with my phone I moved to a house and I now get no service where I live but only in the house, down the block my phone works again. I have gone into the store and called the head office so many times. Last time I came into this store I was treated so rudely. I'm going to pay off my tab and never go back again I recommend nobody go with freedom mobile because as I've heard people say to me it's not Freedom mobile its freedom from service.

Nice employee's, but I don't recommend these guys anymore. Wind was good, now all I have is problems with my phone, and I got ripped off when I bought my phone. It freezes up all the time
