Dealt with the store manager Patrick who was beyond helpful, kind and went out of his way to ensure or needs were properly addressed. We only deal with this location as we know we are guaranteed great service!

Thanks to Nakisa for the great service. As a newcomer, Nakisa provided me with a great experience and helped me get the best offers for the best value. Will definitely come back.

I purchased a plan for myself and my family a couple months ago and Nakisa helped us out. Even after a while, when I have a question I still go back to this location to get guidance specifically I had an issue with a payment and Nakisa helped me figure it out.

I had two transaction with this store recently. They did not do what they asked for. They did what they called mistake.

Update (2023) : Since my last review they've moved to an actual store and a lot easier to locate. I was ready for another phone upgrade and was assisted by Patrick. He is super patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He checked our accounts and explained the options available, which led us to upgrading two phones. He definitely goes above and beyond for servicing clients. Although brief but we also interacted with Sina and Justin who are both very friendly as well. Thank you all for another amazing Freedom interaction and making the process so easy. We've been to other Freedom locations, but this place is definitely the most friendly and knowledgeable we've encountered.

I'm an old customer of Freedom, my account has 4 lines and I went in yesterday to port in another line. I was greeted and assisted by Oscar, whom was very attentive and friendly. He gave me options and assisted me to pick out the option I wanted. Very pleasant experience! Already referred more people to the location! Please keep up the amazing work!

If I were to pick something bad about this location is the location of the kiosk. I knew I had to look for K2 on the map, but it took me a long while to figure out where it is. Fault on Hillcrest Mall for the poor labelling.

I do not recommend Freedom Mobile. I had very frustrating experiences with their services.

10/10! When you need to upgrade your phone, it can be very confusing and there’s a lot of “deals” to choose from. Justin easily navigated us through it and spent the time to give outstanding customer service! The result.we left with 4 new iPhone 14’s and a smile on our faces. I hate malls and shopping in general. I can honestly say the service we received felt like we were back in time when great customer service actually was the norm and not the exception. Thank you Justin (and Alex) for making it easy, transparent and enjoyable. Very well done indeed!

Customer service is very bad. Patric manager of the store is very rude and irresponsible.
They sold us older phone instead of new phone with the same deal!

I was having issues with bill payment’s and decided to go into this location to get some assistance. I was happily surprised by the overall good vibes in the store. I was acknowledged upon arrival and then the rep in store actually took time and showed me step by step how to go through my bill payment online. So overall I was annoyed going into this but left pleasantly surprised. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

We came in to help a friend choose a new phone. Kathy was so helpful, she listened to what we were looking for and provided exactly what we needed. Great deal & great service, we’ll definitely be back.

Mayuran is a very good seller he told me the best deals for a phone and he gave me an extra 5 gigs of data for free!

I went from Newmarket all the way to Richmond Hill looking for an IPhone. Fortunately Mayuran assisted me and gave me excellent service. He was patient and tried to find me the best deal possible.

Mayuran was a tremendous help today. He informed me on all of the devices and plans that were available and he was able to bundle my plan for a lot less than I was paying which was awesome. He was patient and very helpful.

Customer service is horrible in this location. The sales person was harassing us for no reason.

The staff need a very good training. They don't know much about their responsibilities and duties.

Good customer service. At Hillcrest Freedom Mobile you have to pay for the SIM but Loblaws Mobile Shop offers SIM card for free as part of the mobile contract.

Horrible company ethics and the worst phone service provider I ever experienced. I got overcharged for the duration of 3 months. If I did not notice they would have continued to charge me. Contacted the billing department, and was told it was my fault for not noticing earlier. They explained it, it was their faulty system that automatically made the change. Refused to refund my money or reimburse me, and blamed the customer for their mistake! Throw the constant poor connection when it is extremely needed and you get the worst experience where you just want to break your phone. Also switches to US phone towers when you are close to the border and charges you extra even if you are on Canadian side!   Terrible company, do not sign up with them!

Danielle was super helpful and very patient with a weird request of mine. Glad i went to this store as no other customer exec online or at other stores were able to help me.

I would have liked to give Freedom Mobile 5 stars due to their amazing back to school deals, but the service could be improved. It took three attempts and hours of waiting to port a phone number. The account was not set up properly and other issues were caused, requiring another visit to a "warranty centre. " I was also misinformed on the plan details. Better training should be provided to employees so they can provide a better customer experience. I expect all this to change the next time I visit this Freedom Mobile store.

Had the pleasure of working with Danielle to port over 4 of our phone lines. She made it super easy and was very quick. If you go to this store and she is available, do yourself a favor and get her to help you!

Staff is courteous and helpful. Store is just near the entrance, and beside Starbucks. So getting in and out is easier compared to walking all the way to the centre of the mall, as it used to be at a Kiosk before. Now they have a proper store with good accessibility.

Freedom got a whole store now in the Hillcrest mall. Store looks great. Spacious with everything on display. I walked around looking for about 10mins before I left. Store was extremely busy, I think there were about three associates in the store all busy with customers. This store is seeming to be picking up lots of traffic. Never seen this traffic at this mall before. I've been a freedom customer now for over 9 yrs now.

Terrible experience. They made me go back to the store about 5 times to get a new phone and I had to wait 3 hours one time and then in line for about 45min each time. They were speaking in their own language also in front of me, about me, which is not right. Marco the manager told me he will order me in a phone screen protector for my new phone and it has been almost 2 months now I never got my screen protector or any update. I paid for it already. Terrible service.

I visited this branch on May 27th, 2019 and was greeted by a very professional and resourceful sales representative by the name of, Ali, who was able to resolve the technical issues my cellphone was experiencing. Despite being very busy and managing multiple tasks that day i.e. Attending to other customers on the phone and in person, Ali, was kind enough to rectify the issue on my phone and I was able to use my Freedom mobile cellphone again. It's people like Ali that make Freedom mobile a great company. Thanks.

Freedom established his store in Hilcrest Mall. Now they can represent more services to the people who are living in the Richmonhill area.

I had a really great experience with Marco, a sales rep at this location. I went to him to have 3 numbers ported and he handled my case like a well-oiled machine. There was a slight technical hiccup with my case and Marco had it fully resolved for me within a day. The kind of service that others should aspire to. Highly recommend this location.

I had a wonderful time at this location! I came to trade in my s7 edge for a s10 plus. I was helped by Aaliyah, Ali and David! They were very helpful and were able to suggest the best way to use my trade-in value, as well as the best phone plan that would be suitable for me. Also, they were very entertaining and we had lots of good laughs! Thank you again everyone!:) Definitely stop by at this location if you want awesome customer service!
