So I'm a student and I was exploring my options for phone plans while trying to be on a student-friendly budget. When I first walked in I was greeted by this amazing gentleman Kussai. He explained all the available options and the deals they had going on in the company. After explaining the pricing and benefits he made I understood everything to avoid misunderstandings. NO HIDDEN FEES, he is very honest and makes sure you leave happy no matter what. This experience makes freedom the most considered choice out of the options there is for me. Thank you Kussai for this great service!

Worst thing I did is visiting this store. They changed my pre paid plan to post paid account without letting me know. I came to the store on April 5th at 10AM. I will be going back to talk to the manager because the guy who was working did this without letting me know.

I visited this store last week for an upgrade and I got an amazing suggestion from Kusai for an additional line with the iphone 14 pro max for my brother too.
Perfect service, friendly staff and reasonable prices.totally recommended.

Unlike some of the other reviews, my experience was excellent. It is likely about which sales person you get. We had Nhial M.and we could not have wished for a better rep. He was not pushy, very informative, patient, and went above and beyond to find the colour I wanted for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which he reserved for me at another location. I also got a very competitive deal as an upgrade (I chose the option to have it for 2 yrs with the choice to return or pay off at the end). The monthly bill was increased by only $13, which is excellent for iPhone 14 Pro Max model upgrading from base iPhone 11. Thanks Nhial!

Freedom charged me $100 roaming in Quebec. My iPhone is permanently set to roaming off but the company still charged me. Spend 2 day trying to get it reversed but company provided horrible customer service. Will file complaint with the government.

Went in to upgrade my phone and add new line and phone for my husband. We went 20 minutes before close and it ended up taking us 1.5 hours to complete everything.
Melvin was amazing and stayed until everything was completed after the store had closed. He went above and beyond expectations of an employee to ensure we had a great experience and everything was taken care of for us to enjoy our new phones.
Definitely recommend going and dealing with Melvin.

That was awesome for me I bought 2 line for me and my sister. We were in Virgine mobile but they were very expensive so I decided to get a freedom 2 line. Also for that great sirves my father got 5 lines. That was awesome for us

DO NOT GO TO this store, they are really AZ Wireless instead of freedom mobile even though the store has the same decorations as freedom mobile and the sales wear shirts with freedom mobile logo on it. They charge 35 plus tax for SIM card when they get SIM cards from freedom mobile for free, they refuse to provide receipt for the SIM card charge to pocket all the money without paying tax to CRA. They are ripping off people and committing tax fraud. They are crooks. I got 25 dollars SIM card charge back when I demanded for refund, when I asked for the remaining 10 dollars SIM card charge receipt, they called mall security to kick me out. They are really bad people.

The store is good only one minute detail: for the same SIM card that you can get for free from any other stores, or in their own branch in Rideau centre, they charge you $35, for exactly the same thing. Seems what so many people complained about being overcharged is true. I
So if you don’t mind being ripped off or you just don’t want go to downtown, sure the store is ok

Excellent service. Was helped by Jeff with my wife and my plans, and upgrading our phones. Jeff went above and beyond expectation.

Sales 101. Check the customer's current plan. Ignore that they have US call/text so that when you upgrade your plan, they can feign ignorance that I agreed to remove my US call/text. Also a tactic to see how much the customer knows about their own plan details. Say the word "Gigs" a lot to try and confuse. Tell the customer their phone is old and needs an upgrade no matter how new. Refuse to give a printed quote with the exact terms and conditions of your new plan because you know they're not telling you everything except for the Gigs part. Say "Limited time offer only with Gigs" even if phones change yearly and plans will always be there.

Yeah I just walked out, they quoted my something $80 more per month than what another Freedom sales person was telling me on the phone. I was just checking in person to see this Black Friday special because it had to be "in-person" according to their ad and it turned into something 3x the amount I'm currently paying as a CURRENT CUSTOMER. It's not like I'm dropping a previous provider and coming here - I'm already here and committed and you're trying to swindle me. No thank you for the Gigs. The visit was November 28 in the afternoon.

I was in and out in 10 minutes. Smooth on boarding when porting my existing number over to freedom. Great customer service.
