Fresh Cut Fries

I just had the absolute best chilli fries ever! The girls there are so friendly and kind! Definitely our new favourite spot and you will see us a lot! Thank you for the amazing food!

Anytime I come back from a hunt I stop in here. It's tradition, they got some of the best fries around by far, nostalgic of being out in newfoundland or finding an old shack on the side of the road in the country. Stop in here, you won't be disappointed

Immaculate fries. Best poutine ever. Greek fries are out of this world and the friendliest staff always ready to serve and make you smile.
Highly recommend if you are in/ or visiting Oshawa. Crispy fries and fresh gravy always? They even gave us chocolates for thanksgiving and kids toys for the kids.

I've been going here since I was in highschool if that says anything to how good the fries are at this truck.

The service has always been friendly and the prices have been more than fair 12/10 will keep visiting for years to come.

Good place for fresh cut fries, they have benches if you want to eat them hot or you can always take them home to snack on infront of the tv. Quantity is good for the price

Nice people and good fries but I wish they would do burgers again. That's the reason I don't go very often even though they are close to where I live. If they brought back burgers I would 100%go alot more often.

Won't lie this was my second favorite place for fries however the first one closed so now these are the best fries in oshawa.

Great place! I'm so glad I finally tried them after passing by for months! Fair prices and the staff are super friendly. Anyone who lovingly calls me 'dear' is good in my book.

It was ok not using the real cheese like Montreal does but good serving of food to what you pay for and the gravy not salty at all friendly staff

Fries aren't the best, especially for a "fry truck" the lady working there was super ignorant and had the most sour look on her face.

There is a reason this place always has a lineup. We stumbled onto this truck while out for the day and it's so innocuous but wowee do those fries pack a flavour! Crispy, salty, not too greasy. Fabulous

Was not a big fan of your fries but stopped in yesterday Oct. 14 and I have to say the fries and gravy were excellent. What ever changed keep it up.

Service was excellent and the flavors were one of a kind.

My friend from out of town was excited to try the Newfy fries, they were horrible.
She's had them at Frenchman's bay in the past and said they were delicious.
The lady that works in the truck is very nice, sad she has to serve such low quality food.
The poutine cheese isn't cheese curds, its regular grated cheese. The Newfy fries only has a light sprinkle of bread crumbs.
I can't believe so many people love this place, its always busy.
I'm not a huge fan of French fries, but I know good food.
My friend was also extremely dissatisfied.
Try the fry truck at Frenchman's Bay apparently they are the bomb.

I've been coming to this chip truck for over 15 years. I no longer live in the area and will make a plan to stop here when I'm in town as well as introducing anyone else I know! Best fries in Oshawa!

Authentic Newfoundland "chips dressing and gravy". Right down to the Mt. Scio savory in abundance in the dressing. Delicious

I was there tonight and it was Disgusting!
The "pogo" tasted rancid and was barley warmed, and the fries were awful!
Precooked, barley reheated and sopping with grease. Horrible, we will not be returning.

1 star given because I can't leave none.

Wasn't a fan of their over-microwaved pogos (hence the star reduction), but go back all the time for their newfie fries. Unique and tasty.

Lovely Newfie Fries - made my day! Open from 11: 00 AM to 7: 00 PM these day.you will always find yourself in a queue. Also this place only accept cash so go prepared

Tastes DELICIOUS! Only has fries and other snacks. You've seen it on the side of the road for ages, I think it's time to give it a try.:)

The serving could have been a bit bigger however the poutine was delicious. Honestly what I would expect in flavour and brings back fond memories growing up and getting chip truck fries?

Fries are easily within top 3.they're fresh.cooked perfectly.and taste great! (No old or dirty oil here). But the prices on some things (like gravy.costs more for a small gravy than a Med fry does!? !)

Everyone in this area swears by them.and for good reason!

Friendly note: Be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot.that intersection is bad for drivers not paying attention.

We've been here twice now. It's always busy, but fast. We never wait long. The lady is very nice. The fries are sooooo good! I suggest the Greek fries! Yum!

Very friendly staff! The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and informative. Fries were hot and fresh. For those interested, I also found out that they use canola oil for their fries. Their poutine gravy is beef.

The fries were pretty good but if it doesn't have cheese curds, I don't know why you would try calling it a poutine.

The fries were great but for a poutine I prefer cheese curds instead of shredded cheese it does make all the difference. But no curds here.

Great place, excellent price, pleanty of parking and outdoor seating. Can be a bit of a if they're busy but that's because it's so good.

Fries were soggy and undercooked, poutine does not use cheese curds and the small amount of cheese you get tastes processed

The perfect place to lunch on hot sunny days lots of fries with assorted comfert foods and lots of picnic tables under large trees for shade most relaxing.

Been going to them for years.current owners are the best.the lot can get quite busy on warm sunny days and weekends.but worth it!

Amazing fries but if all you really sell is fries with toppings, your poutine needs to have cheese curds. Honestly i enjoyed the poutine but I won't go again based on the cheese. When you/ if you get cheese curds then let me know and I'll be there the same day! @

Some of the best fries I've had. Super fresh and delicious. Not overly greasy either. Good prices. Get the gravy. Goes great with anything. I would put it on cardboard and still eat it. Will update with a photo soon.
