Strange policy needs to be changed. I found a credit card inside the store and asked the manager to page the person. She would not stating that anyone could claim it. First of all you ask for an ID! Imagine the hassle this person has to go through cancelling the card and waiting for a new one while all the aggravation could have been avoided. She said the card would be destroyed but I would have been more confident doing that myself that trusting someone who could have had ulterior motives for not returning the credit card with a shout out in the store.

Very good collection of groceries, vegetables, fruits, breads. Staples, spices, milk egg, frozen item, ready to eats etc

Lots of parking, I like the selection of foods and produce, its not my only storeI sometimes get stuck behind customers that price check at the cashier showing there flyers on their cellphones at diffrent stores to reduce the cost of what they buy. These customers should have a seperate cash out where they can argue all day over 50 cents or better still they can photocopy there adds and hand them to the special cashier who doesnt get flustered over customers that bully them for savings while the long line ups looks on. People dont have the time to shop and make it into a half hour hostage takeing situation.

I'm used to visit this store for my daily needs. An average store with all the basic necessities. Good for basic groceries and related items. An improvement in lay out and organizational setup is suggested.

Manger is a terrible person. NO SCOICAL SKILLS. Feel sorry for customers. Washrooms are disgusting.

I got stuck behind some old Scottish guy complaining about a woman ahead using coupons.

I dont mean to be one of those people that hate old people but can we get some dedicated lines for old moaning people.

Really ruined my day.

I love to buy groceries from glen erin freshco. Although I moved from here but still come here for all my grocery need.

Great service and well stocked most of the time. Even with limits, items on sale are sometimes out of stock

Selling rotten and expired bread. Three days after expiry, still on the shelves. Disgusting store.

I really like this store, lots of variety and great value. Only thing I would suggest, is the store needs more cashiers working as this store can be busy.

Great prices and offerings on products you don't find everywhere. The best is the spring and summer selection of plants!

The store is conveniently located, with required items available at all times, mostly fair pricing, mostly clean layouts, and decent customer service.

But, my disappointment is with the crowd that visits the store for shopping. Mainly, the newcomers from countries where there is least to no sense of social contract (India, Middle East, and some people of non ethnic backgrounds as well). Disgusting experiences at the entry and exit doors, and at the checkout queues.

I have noticed since this store brand took years ago over service has gone completely down. They run short on cashiers. The exit and entrance were never monitored through the covid restrictions even though they had signs up. Just like the no price matching sign in the express cashier isle. Again today they allowed price checkimg with a line up behind them. The cashier says he agrees with me even though he did the price match. The store manager says its ok when there is no line up and the head cashier wants the sign up for the weekends. It is not the weekend. I was standing in line with two other people waiting. Where is some accountability? Why post the sign just to have employees not follow it. Too bad the store manager had to pass the buck to a lower employee. Dont post rules if the store cant follow them. Should i assume their price stickers are not real also?

Cashiers have been very efficient, pleasant and always helpful. Produce is hit and miss, but at least they still price match!

Not my first choice! The produce is often spoiled or compromised, the line ups are usually very long, there's no bakery or fresh products available. On the flip side, there's tons of variety and diverse pantry and frozen products, competitive prices. They carry a wide variety of vegan products, including tofurky, Yves, gardein, morning star, violofe, and other vegan options.

Occasionally I visited this store and I found vegetables, fruits, bread and eggs are much cheaper than other grocery stores I have visited recently, like longos, nations, Walmart. Quality is good so far and I have visited 5 times in one month.

Surprisingly great selection of products and international items. Aging building but makes up for it with cleanliness and organization.

The staff are friendly, and they have price match policy but not with all stores. Prices in general is good and they have excellent weekly deals.

Everyone knows where everything is, it's clean, and tends to have every basic ingredient you'd need. Best prices for good chips! Although the dairy tends to sell faster than they can supply because the deals are so good.

I love freshco specially this location.

Helpful stock person. Eggs was out of stock that was on sale and he told me it will be in next Monday but I guess he didn’t realize the sale would be over lol

Great deals but the cleanliness of the shopping carts and stuff is left up to the customer. I guess it makes sense, they have to roll back somewhere to stay competitive because basics and no frills don't do anything either in fact basics doesn't even offer sanitizing solution or paper towel for you to do it yourself. But freshco does offer paper towel and sanitizing solution, at least last I checked.

Great produce. Wish they had more fruits options. Glad they have an international aisle. Definitely need more meat selection.

Renovated recently. Has most of all you need from a grocery store. All they need is a public washroom.

Been there twice in the last 5 days. Day 1, they were price matching in the Express Lane (against their policy). Day 2,2 lanes open 1 regular and 1 express. Sure enough they are taking 2 people with over 20 items (again against their policy), full carts in the Express lane. Who runs this place?

I shop exclusively for bread out here, else vegetables are more expensive than a nations or an oceans store, does not have a self checkout counter unlike David's No Frills at Erin Mill Parkway and Mill Creek!

Don't ever go Sat evening or Sunday - all the advertised deals are either missing stock or there's only the rotten/broken ones left - they don't even bother to replenish - kinda first come first served

Good prices, and able to do coupon /price check to other stores, that is the best to save more. Very busy location

Store is well stocked and clean however cashier's are slow and not enough checkout counters are ever open

Loved this location, so many types of Asian fruits and vegetables, some rare one that even Chinese store don't have.

Staff is not seeming to be engaged into helping customers much.

Early afternoon, I intended to purchase a product which was on sale, price clearly displayed at the shelve. The system had the old price, I asked the cashier to have a price check, she called another employee for help, who came 10 minutes later saying that it's the same price and anyway, she had to go [on break? ]. I waited for another 5 minutes, nobody seemed to do anything, so I went back inside and snapped a picture of the shelve and price tag, and then showed it to the cashier. She seemed puzzled, then thoroughly checked the picture, and still was suspicious.
I asked if the policy for misquoted prices was still in effect, the answer was that there is no policy and if I am not happy, I could talk to the lady at station X. It felt like a complete waste of my time, hence I just left without completing the purchase.

Thank you staff for being so supportive to your customers! Way to go.

I wish this place carried more halal meats. Being in a middle eastern community this grocery store should be more in tune with the products they sell. Maybe open a fresh butcher at this location that sell hahal meats? I am sure it would be a good hit. I am giving a 1 star review because i find the workers to be a bit rude when they are stocking the shelves during peak hours and the cahsiers are always on their phones.doesn't look good.

This is a discount supermarket chain own by Sobey, the fresh produce is ok, but some freshness are missing especially the items such as the spring mixed salad, although its on special at $2.50. When I mentioned this to one of the worker, he did promptly remove it from the shelf. The dry goods are ok. It is quite busy during the weekend

Great prices and sale items every week. I love the international aisle. If they mistakenly charged you the wrong price, come back with receipt.it's free. I always check expiry dates

I wish I can give negative stars to this FreshCo. The owner, Stephen Parente, has ZERO customer service skills, unless he is talking to his crony's, as witnessed today when my elderly mother was told to come back in an hour for the pepper by the bushel special. When she went back after an hour and a half, there was a truck there and she asked the owner if that was the truck with the peppers. He rudely told her NO, and moved on to one of his compatriots, who asked the same question and was told by the owner, "Come in the back with me, there are too many questions out here. " Lo and behold, buddy comes back with 3 cases of peppers.
The staff is mostly nice, but the owner is a JACKASS!

Freshco is always a nice place to shop. Prices are reasonable, place is always clean and workers are helpful.

The service here is absolutely rude. I have overheard, on multiple occasions, employees badmouthing and making fun of customers. The employees act like petty school children who badmouth people to show off, look cool, and score points with each other - grow up!

Overall fine but recently foung expired yogurt on the shelf, informed a worker, he said leave it there, he will remove. Need improvement in expiry checks.

Good hours friendly staff, almost gave it a 4 but I find it never has enough cashiers on. Maybe I am unlucky with the times I go but easily a 4 if this is improved:)

FreshCo.is a basic, "no frills" grocery store. The prices are often lower, however they do not always have as wide a selection as other grocers. I went in for sale items and found what I needed, but I rarely.do my weekly shop at FreshCo.

Terrible experience. It’s my first time here and I won’t be back. I came to EXCHANGE diapers as they were a gift (the wrong size) the young girl wouldn’t exchange them- she seemed like a supervisor position- the cashier I could tell wanted to help me. The diapers came from this store, I didnt have a receipt as they were a gift. They’re not a grocery item, they won’t expire they’re unopened diapers. She said she can’t do anything. Her customer service was very poor. She was very abrupt and blunt. Like I said I won’t be back.
UPDATE- I went to the other location on dundas and thankfully the nice lady simply scanned them and exchanged them for me w NO HASSLE. I’ll be giving the Dundas and Erindale Station a 5/5 star review.

The food is fresh and customer service is good. However, some cashiers have ridiculous ideas of how things should work.

Shopping at Fresh Co was pleasant. Fresh produce and quality goods at a discounted price. I spent much less than I would at Costco or Walmart. Besides I had a lot more choices. Will go here again!

This is a great place to do weekly grocery shopping. It has large variety of Indian veggies and grocery. You can find almost everything you need in this store. We hardly go to another Indian grocery store these days.
They also do price match and most of the times have very good deals in the store which results in good weekly savings.

FreshCo has everything starting from vegetables ending at chemicals.
The only bad thing is they don't price match at the express lane and when the store is closing they close the belts and leave only one express lane open.
