Worst customer service ever. They need more training how to talk with customers. This is the closest FreshCo from my house otherwise I would have avoided this place. If you are visible minority try to avoid this place.

The food net and clean. Prices are affordable. The quality and enough quantity. You have to buy from freshco

Excellent place for groceries. Fresh produce + you can find all your favourite international spices & sauces here as well. There is always someone to assist you with a smile.

No Masks Required now. Most check outs open. Offering Scene points on certain foods.

Amazing staff! Got exactly what I needed when I shopped there and when the lines get too long they have cashier's on standby by to control the traffic volume.

Its my first time in Pickering in 5 years, and the racism is worse.much worse. Followed by a security guard disguised as a secret shopper. First time in my life this has happened to me.

The security guard is a goof not doing his job so employee had to stop them and got FIRED over it? I hope the owner gets his karma

I shop here all the time and the store manager is very rude and u trys to just get u out of the store when u try and take to him about stuff and he always yelling at his worker's on the floor he needs to learn to be nicer to his workers and nicer to the customers

Not a bad store, it's about what you would expect from a FreshCo. Decent prices, decent selection, friendly staff. EV charging on the west side of the lot sometimes helps on a busy day of errands for a top up. That alone has made me choose this grocery store a few times.

I like freshco not so crowded and i have the fresh veggie salad i want. Except this branch has no self check out so you have to wait a bit but its fast.

They say, Double fresh guaranteed. And this is what I found, not for the first time. These pictures were taken on 4th September. And milk expired on 1st sep is still sitting there.

This was my first time here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and tidy and well lite. The specials are great and alot of regular priced items are good too. Well stocked store, no empty shelves. Washrooms were clean and tidy, well lite.

There are never enough cashiers working. Even at peak hours, they'll have maybe 3, with lines to the back of the store.

This store consistently never has any of the sale items from the flyer. Every time I enter the store looking for a item on sale I am told the same thing. "We sold out". Do they not know how to order? The management at this store is useless and doesn't know what they are doing. In addition I am here on a Friday night and there is 1 cashier open. 0 stars!

Love the new layout, comfortable and friendly environment. As a plus my older kid works here, so what can be better?

High prices, limited selection, no plastic or even paper bags. First visit to Fresh Co was pretty underwhelming and probably my last.

Clean place to shop around. Staffs are very helpful. They do match flyers from 3 to 4 stores. It's nofrills, food basic, superstore.

Place currently do not have self checkout. Like to go there during the non busy rush.

The worst Frashco customer service we found comparison to other Freshco stores in GTA. When it comes to price matching they do suspect lot to customer as if we are stealing the product. We have numerous argument every time with this Freshco Pickering store. Why don’t you stop price matching completely? We hardly go to this store anymore due to customer service and food products not available at at this store compare to Metro and No Frills at port union.

Haplessly understaffed. Blows my mind you need to drop change in to get a cart? Who really carries change anymore especially during COVID. Sales are never stocked up and good luck in line cashing out. I would give them minus -5 stars if I could. Stay away

Clean store and always has carts. Friendly cashiers and I like how patient they are! I forgot my debit card in my car once and I was able to get it and have my groceries stay there, and I got help with bagging. Diverse staff and diverse crowd reflects the Pickering area.

I drive by this grocery store frequently on my way home from work. It's a convenient location off the freeway and the parking lot is usually relatively empty. I can get in and out quickly, which is perfect for my busy schedule. It's not my favourite store to shop at, but it works.

They have the worst customer service in the Durham region. The cashier was so rude to me even though I was maintaining social distancing she was yelling at me. I would never go there ever. I would rather give them 0 star.

The store was clean and well stocked. I found everything I needed and it appeared to be following protocol during the pandemic. My removal of one star from an otherwise 5 star rating is that as it has been some time since I've done any shopping at FreshCo I was a bit surprised that I was not able to get any plastic bags. My only option was to purchase a fairly cheap quality cloth-like bag for 25 cents or a larger much stronger bag for $1. I'm not against the store's intentions to become eco-friendly, my only issue is that I required quite a lot of bags and was forced to pay much more than I would normally pay for a bag at any other store. I am posting this review to alert shoppers that this is the store's policy so either bring your own bag or be prepared to pay at least a minimum of 25 cents for a semi-reusable bag. Otherwise nice store, some good international products and pleasant employees. Prices seemed somewhere between a Food Basics and Metro range.

Shayna at cash needs to learn how to calm down erratic customers instead of fuelling the fire. This would definitely be a learning opportunity for her.

Great spot next to a few amenities, spacious, good staff, and generally well inventoried. I recommend.

I shopped at Fresco, Pickering yesterday. It was not Covid responsible. The first thing I noticed is the carts are dirty. They sign reads "sanitized" but the carts had used tissue, napkins and other garbage in them. Not just one or two cards, many carts. There are no directional stickers on the floor, no stickers to indicate where to line up, nothing! There was no employee to direct people to a cashier, as a result, more than one person was at the cash at a time, more than one person had their food on the conveyer belt at a time. The cashiers didn't clean either the conveyer belt or the pin pad at all. It's no wonder Pickering was such a hot spot! All the other businesses I've attended are fully compliant.

My wife & I go try to go to the one cashier that is friendly AND cleans the belt. Other employees are rude.yell at you that there isn’t any lines before approaching a cash register. Unprofessional. Meat selection is adequate and good prices.

I do not shop here often. I find that staff are either very helpful or completely useless. This location is pretty clean and organized. Usually stocked in items that are on sale.

This place is always pretty solid, prices are decent, good hours and fresh food. Only thing I would say is at some point you couldn't find shopping baskets.staff member informed me that it's just shopping carts. Was there yesterday and that seems to have been corrected

This is very good place for purchasing grocery and also fresh vegetabels and fruits are avilable here. Highly recomended place

Good grocery store when you find the right deals. Line ups to pay that wrap around the store are a little too much.good alcohol selection!

I have to acknowledge that FreshCo is one of the better grocery stores in my area. Their prices are good; they price match; they have a good selection; the produce is generally very good; and it's clean in every part of the store.

This location also carries alcoholic beverages, for those who are interested.

It's a *busy* grocery store but they have a decent selection at good prices. I find the meat selection passable.not great. The best part nowadays is their fruits and veggies. Many of the cashiers are capable but seemingly burnt-out.

First thing that I noticed was that it was a very clean store. Great produce selection and area. Staff seemed helpful and they actually smiled even under the masks. Overall a very good store.

FreschCo is one of the places I go for grocery shopping. They price match and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Yesterday Cherryl went above and beyond amd deserve recognition.
I ran in the store to get milk but there were lots of items on sale and it was close to closing time.
Next thing I know, I bought oranges, blackberries, cheeses, juices, pears and more oh and milk of course.
By the time I get to the cashier it was past closing time.
Some stores ring loud bells or rush people out.
Cherryl patiently helped me bag my groceries and help me carry them to the door. Not part of her job. (I did not get a cart thinking I'll only get milk).
Then she said: "I'll wait here for you with your groceries while you get your car ".
That for me was the cherry on top.
Thanks a million cherry. I'll get a cart next time even if I think I'll buy only one item and will make it before closing time.

Nice store. Clean most times. Sometimes stock on sale items can be low. Can't find it? Bulk heads are kept stocked before regular shelf.

Very nice and clean store. All vegetables and meat are very fresh! Price wise is very competitive! Excellent service! I stopped at the fresh vegetables Department and asked one of the guys working there, which isle I would be able to find canned mushroom. He was very helpful, not only did he tell me the isle # but also took me all the way to the canned vegetables isle and got me the canned mushroom from the shelf. I was very touched and impressed! He went above and beyond! He's not the only one, other employees were very helpful too! I went around noon hour. Parking was a 'bit congested". Would definitely recommend friends and family to shop at this Freshco location - Kingston Rd (or Highway 2) and Whites Rd in Pickering.

A very sensible supermarket offering attractive price and good selection for the family. An easy experience for compelling prices!

A very nice grocery store. The workers' are very friendly and the prices are alot cheaper than most places! I try going in the morning.

Great staff, clean area, and good sales! Check dairy dates at most. If one person didn't know where something was they asked someone else instead of sending me on my way.

FreshCo has recently renovated their store and implemented a new sign with their new logo.

There is a new Deals section that mostly has sale items.

I find them as an okay alternate to no frills or food basics. Produce is not as cheap as you would expect, either is dairy or meats. Cant find any reason to go here over Walmart prices.

Organized store. Not very busy. Located in a convenient location of Pickering for those who live at Pickering west close to Altona road

I have loved this fresco since living in the area. Lately not sure what's going on but 2 times in 2 weeks the chicken is spoiled far before the date. I'm disgusted and very disappointed.

Great fresh selections, great prices. Welcoming atmosphere and store is laid out easy to find everything.

Absolutely terrible grocery store. A large majority of their produce is already ripe or beginning to rotten on their table. You think having specials in their flyer your cashiers would know where SALE items would be. I asked for two items that were on sale, the bacon & the 12 pack Kraft dinner that was on the front page of their flyer. When I use to work in retail as a manager, the flyers you’d typically get in the beginning of the week and you would inform your employees where they would be. There were no employees on the floor to ask so I asked the cashier and he asked his fellow colleague beside him. His response is “I believe we’re out of both items, I heard someone say their out SO JUST TELL HER WE’RE SOLD OUT. ” Understandable they can be sold out of sale items, but when I asked if they do rain-checks and the employees’ response was “I don’t know what that is” and asked other cashiers if they knew what a rain-check was, and NO ONE had a clue. Instead of going to ask a manager the cashiers just stood there on their phone while they wait for customers.

Never returning to this location, their staff is not well trained, disrespectful and just flat out lazy. You’d think being a part of the Sobey’s chain that they would have higher standards and would educate their employees on promotion items and things like rain-checks.
