This grocery store is alright. There are frequently large items blocking aisles and pathways which make it hard to navigate with a cart or a stroller (and presumably a wheelchair), the service is mediocre, though the manager I frequently see seems nice. Shelves seem stocked. After witnessing many different items being left out of fridges and freezers, I’m not sure I’d trust any meat from this location.
It’s certainly well lit and has a good variety. Prices are OK. They price match but it seems a tad inconsistent.
The new cash register worker is rude. I don't write reviews but her behaviour and the way she treats customers has to let it be known. I brought it to the attention to the cash register manager all she said was ok and when I left she laughed about my complain with a co worker. The cash register is also knew. I felt discriminated and laught at as they all were the same race and looked at each other as if to say we stick together. Sad thing I will be going to nofrills more often now. Sadly the owner does not have a clue what goes on there. I'm a regular customer and seen alot. The new people are to comfortable as if the managers brought then there to work.
Fresco said it will match competitors' price. We bought sensodyne toothpaste today for $7.49 which was on sale at Walmart for $6.47. We showed the cashier the sale price on Walmart but was told price match could not be honored as it 'needs' to be shown on a paper flyer. Hmmm.excuse me, who walks around with paper flyers? ! This is such 70s thinking!
FreshCo became a more expensive store, and the quality of produce often not correspond to prices. Now I will buy less food in this store. Time for change.
This place has a very distinctive fishy stink. This is not a place I'm going to do my grocery shopping as I'm going to walk out smelling like a fish. If you like the smell of fish, this is the place for you.
Unprofessional service. I purchase bunch of thing and dont have a scene card when a young lady cashier ask if i have one. I ask her how can i get one but she difdd not answer. I come back to ask for a Scene card with a different lady cashier. The cashier instead just give me one. She just plainly explain couple things. I ask if she can give me one, she acts like being force to do so. Open the chest with unhappy gestures. This will be my last visit to this place.
I rated this grocery chain a one because of expired products again. I had mentioned these products had all expired previously. They didn’t put any procedures in place so that this didn’t happen again.
I know personnel stock the shelves because the other products on the shelf were all good.
I don’t think it’s a lot to ask…when someone is stocking the shelves to look over other products on the shelves.
I know I look at the dates, but what about people that don’t, what about the elderly, what people with disabilities that might not understand?
To me it’s irresponsible and complaisant. I don’t know if the manager or owner knows, but someone does.
I didn’t see the elusive travelling panda anywhere…must know better.
Every time I go to this store located in woodbridge/Vaughan their prices are always wrong and you'll have cashiers fighting with customers like its our fault they do their jobs correctly what a rip off never going back
I go to this location all the time and in the past I haven't really had any issues but today I went to the location because I was receiving a guest at the airport and needed to grab some flowers on the way. I was running late and ran in to get a bouquet but unfortunately ALL the bouquets were WILTED! Not a single fresh one. I know it's a grocery store but if you are going to sell flowers at least make sure you have enough water in the pot to keep them alive. It's not rocket science. Anyhow I asked the workers who asked other workers if they had any fresh ones and they didn't. I just had to pick up the best looking one out of them and pay full price for a wilted bouquet of flowers.
Shopping for groceries was an excellent experience at this location, well organized and well staffed. Most of everything was in proper order which made looking for items very easy. I would definitely recommend this location to others.
Nice store, however the item I was there to purchase, the Ritter Sport Chocolate bar was no where to be found. Not only was it not in stock, but it appeared as if they did not carry the product at all, which was a bit odd considering that it was featured in their weekly flyer. The staff was very helpful though.
This is an awesome FreshCo location, very clean, ample of parking for the customers and well stocked up!
To avoid the rush I usually try and shop early in the morning and the produce section is well stocked up by then!
There is a dedicated isle for the Indian Food as well, which helps me avoid a separate trip to indian store.
One area where the store can improve is at the checkout. Usually there is 1 or 2 checkout station open in the morning compared to some other locations where i have seen 3-5 lanes open.
1st time at this location. Great Deal on Ground Chicken Limit of 4 only. Not advertised on Flyers as such. Confusing checkout. Asked a patron if the store is normally unorganized. They said yes. Generally like Freshco. Bad day I guess.
Need more cashiers, long wait in check out lines. Meats are not the greatest quality. When meats are put on reduced price with due date, noticed that it becomes bad 1 to 2 days prior to due date.
Poor customer service by cashier Lauren K. Seemed to have a bad day. She just threw the receipt towards me. No hello, no smile, no softness. The person who assisted to find things out was very helpful though. That's why gave 2 stars.
I've started coming back and have been pretty disappointed.the staff barely wears masks if at all and they have no problem letting in customers without masks on. I visited twice yesterday and both times I saw staff not wearing masks and customers not wearing masks at all or wrong. Not coming back.
FreshCo is very good and cheap for Asian grocery store in Vaughn. But Bradford is also required this type of grocery Mall, because now big Asian Communities are in Bradford.
Waited for an hour in EXPRESS LINE! This is crazy. What kind of store allows for this to happen? The strangest thing is that there are only kids working, no supervision. Prices aren't even great. Horrible experience, never again. Please use this review to ensure this never happens again!
Major improvement but line issue needs resolved the lines are quite long. They just renovated the store. The produce is a big improvement. The price matching options for stores are very good as they list some random stores no frills lacks nearby. I hope they keep on top of the freshness promise as it gives an affordable option with decent quality.
They definitely set the bar against Walmart across the street
They dont stock up for the weekend or during the week u go for grocery half of the stuff is not there then u have to go somewhere else to boy the rest of ur grocery its very inconvenient for ppl
I wanted to thank FreshCo for all their hard work and dedication through out this ordeal that we are experiencing. It’s the only store that within the last week or so that has been stocked when I have shopped there. I know the lines are hectic but compared to other stores it’s actually not bad at all. I was able to purchase most of the things on my list. Thank you again for supporting our community!
The worst customer service you can get in a grocery store. After 15 minutes waiting and holding the line, they weren’t able to scan a barcode and I left the store without purchasing that item.
If you like going grocery shopping and not finding what you're looking for, this is the grocery store for you! The lack of of produce options is astounding and the cases are empty and mislabelled. If you're looking for someone to help you, forget it because the only two employees in that store are the two cashiers with 40 feet lines of customers waiting to pay.
So to recap, Horrible options Mislabelled products Understaffed Great place to go if you feel like wasting your time
This place has the “Hard to Find” ingredients you are looking for.
With Longos and Fortinos in the immediate blast zone, this Fresh Co would get overlooked, but take a walk through the International sections and they are EXTENSIVE.
If you are set on the up-scale experience from the higher cost rivals, stick with it, but you can rely on this place to have those ingredients that are on some of the new recipes you’re trying out.
Tell your cashiers to work faster during rush hour your cashier today was high smoked weed at work msg to the owner and management you should pay more Attention to serving the customer then coming high to work
What’s up with the produce here? I’ve stopped there now 5-6 times on my way home from work and none of the lettuce (all types) is edible. It’s all frail and half garbage. It’s kind of an embarrassment, really. I can generally do with a few leaves that are bad, but majority of the heads are inedible. Get your f’in produce in order. Otherwise it’s an average store, but it’s hard to really mess up stocking a shelf.
Not the best FreshCo I've been too, albeit most FreshCo's are not the greatest. My issue was with the cleanliness, stocking, and the bad stench. Stock levels were poor throughout (as if an apocalypse was coming).
Well organized. This location is generally stocked. Cashing out is slow at most hours of the day. They need to create 2 self cash out line out open registers with experienced staff for faster service
The store is to cold. Half way shopping I leave cause it gets cold. I head to no frills to finish my shopping. I don't think I will shop for groceries at freshCo until a reason temperature is reached.
The clerk named Brandon was very polite and very helpful, made my shopping trip much easier because he knew where everything was I recommend coming to freshco to do your everyday shopping. 10/10 worker and 10/10 grocery store
I really enjoy this location. The people seem nice and the store looks well maintained. The food they have also looks like it is taken care of well. There also aren't to many people so you usually don't have to wait in line for to long.
I have never received such despicable behaviour from a cashier.
I was served by a cashier name Dharti, she gave me the wrong change (35 cents when I was suppose to get 85) and I brought it to her attention and she gave me additional 15 cents but was still short. I told her and she said she had given me 40 cents original, which was incorrect. I told her well either you’re still short, so she turns around and grabs 3 dimes and throws it at me as she rolled her eyes. Such disgusting behaviour. I still ended up with the wrong change.
Stay away from this FreshCo to save yourself from getting treated such way. Or if you must come here, avoid cashing out with Dharti!
