Always misleading advertising. Chicken wings sighn says $9 and rings up as $15 at the register. Maneger started arguing with me that the sale price ended yesterday. Sighn advertising $9 price still up. Great customer service. Also to add Monique is a very rude mangerer.
I love this store but as of late I've found a few employees and especially the do called security real strokers. I ride a bicycle, therefore I have a backpack to put my groceries in. I get the reasons why to an extent but if my pack is closed why does security seem to single me out and demand to look in it every time I shop. I'm no thief and I've witnessed people stealing with zero hassles yet myself it's a constant fight to prove these asshats wrong. I've even told them call police and check my pack to which they checked my pack anyways. If it happens again police will be called by me and I'll have them charged with harrassment and never enter said store again. I'll bring dozens of homeless dregs to protest store everyday till the end of time. It's upsetting being singled out for no reason other than a backpack especially at 57 years old and never stolen a thing in my life. I was raised as well as my kids to fly straight and be productive members of society, not some shitbird thief who can't conform to simple rules of decent society. Thnx and sorry for being upset and unruly. Be safe all.
I usually shop at a different location, but this one was one my way home yesterday. They were missing so many things that seem standard at other FreshCo stores - they were either visibly out of stock or missing completely. I definitely won’t be coming back to this one.
Chicken was stolen off the conveyor before I can get it bag I had bought $290 worth of groceries And after checking my groceries and realizing the chicken wasn't in my order and had been stolen they refused to replace it the manager really is difficult and is always trying to accuse me of stealing she actually took the fish out of my bag and said I didn't pay for it It was the most expensive item in my cart But I had paid for it but there was no apology when she found it on the receipt And they still didn't replace the food that had been stolen from me while I was checking out.
My local go to discount grocer. Always well stocked and well staffed. Clean and organized with full selection of brand name and chain brand products. Will price match nearby stores but often find them priced lower already. Has beer sales.
Not much on the shelves. Seemed like a lot of stuff was placed on the floor (displays) when the shelves were empty. Will stick to the Freshco closer to my house.
I visited today here. Flyer product was out of stock. Discussed with customer service and manager about rain check and they refused for that. Funny answer was "We issue rain check for physical flyer, not online flyer". Store has big sign that if we out of stock flyer products, we will issue rain check with 10% discount.
Well, I am not shopping at this store anymore. I know the store doesn't care, but I care. I've asked to exchange a product I have bought two days prior, and the store manager said no. Therefore I say NO to them also.
One of the worst services and experiences I have ever encountered. The team leads and employees are very rude and can taunt and ridicule. They gang up on you as well and don't care about their customers. I would say that they are racially motivated on who they choose to treat well or not. Been in many grocery stores over many years raising a large family I have never encountered this type of treatment.
I like this location.it's pretty large, the staff are very nice, and it's not very far from my place, and they're open till 10 p.m. Every night, highly recommend
Dirty dirty dirty. I don't care how cheap the food, if you can't wash your uniform or mop the floor. How can I enjoy the savings, if you have to shop in filth?
Organized, clean, well-stocked, brightly lit, with shelf labels and signs that are easy to read and follow. Prices are reasonable and selection is pretty good, even during Covid (which has affected every business). Of course, I would have preferred the staff pack my bags and not having to wait in line for a cashier to signal me she was ready, but those are common practice during covid, too. Got what I needed within budget and with very little fuss or extra time spent - not bad at all.
The staff here are very disrespectful and have attitude problems. The management here is pathetic and awful. The owner should be ashamed to own this place. It's bad. That's on top of the long lineups since they don't have an express lane. Terrible place to shop.period.

Shopping at this store is a very satisfying experience. Store staffs are very friendly and professional. Groceries are very reasonably priced and neatly stocked. The store is really huge and there is great collection of much needed groceries. There is lots of parking spaces outside.
I am thoroughly impressed with how this store as operated through covid. I called the store to tell them about how nicely I was treated by one of there cashiers. I have health issues and injured my back this week and have difficulty standing there had to be over 30 people in line I spoke to cashier to see if there was something to do. I thought that it might be possible to sit until my turn. She immediately said I will serve you right after this customer. She even said I'm sorry your in pain.
Update. Although this establishment is clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful, today was my last day shopping here. The produce is ALWAYS going bad and they're selling it at full price. For example, $0.99 per lb for rotting tomatoes. Meat section, sausages reduced by $3, the meat is gray! Throw it out Freshco. The last few times I've shopped here I've had a similar experience but today I left without buying anything because of how disgusted I was.
Imagine being called Freshco when it really should be Freshno.do better.
Clean establishment and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
The produce was completely gross. The lines moved quickly but without enough time to pack up your things with out being pressured, so no good if you have anxiety. I won't be going again.
Produce is nearly inedible, covered in fruit flies, and regularly expired. Peppers are always rotten same with many other fruits and vegetables. Purchased mushrooms on September 27th when we went shopping; got home and checked the expiry date and it expired on the 23rd. We purchased produce that had been expired for four whole days. Usually don’t write reviews about grocery stores but I’ve never seen anything like it, especially during a pandemic
My husband bought a bag of apples (gala) last week and put them 8n the fridge. Today 6days later we took them out to place some in the fruit bowl, almost every apple was rotten to the extent my finger actually went through an apple. Beware and check bagged produce. Absolutely disgusting.
Shopped at this Queenston & Nash in Hamilton, Ontario, for over 9 years, not anymore. Last year, they stopped stocking a lot of products I used to purchase and brought in a bunch of products that I don't think ever sell. (like Chrysanthemum tea in juice packs?) I wrote corporate asking why and expressing that they were going to lose my business, they never answered. Obviously they don't care about their customers. I have to shop at Walmart now because they carry the products that Freshco doesn't want to apparently.
The guys that accommodate the fresh produce (by the entrance, where plantains are) they are the most vibrant and energetic guys I have ever met in a grocery store.
While they work, they are talking with children, laughing and serving customers with doubts. Good for you guys! I am sorry I don't have your names.
FreshCo was horrible for prices I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and I thought I'd try there today but I had to leave because I couldn't afford to buy a Harley anything that was there I ended up going to Walmart which was more to my income will not be shopping at FreshCo again
Whenever something on sale, most of time I never get that things. Just they put one thing on sale, I think just in flyers, not in store. Next time I don't go freshcco for waste my time.
Great store but I liked it better when it was a sobeys, they had a bakery: (update, bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. It smelled like stale pee, had toilet paper all over the place. I had to wipe poop from the toilet seat.
Stock was full. Clean store low lines if any lines at cash. Cashier was great and friendly its my go to store for groceries always have a great deal. Good job guys!
This freshco is FANTASIC! I Stopped going to freshco a long time ago after a bad experience but I was in a pinch today. 100% will be making this store a stop in my weekly grocery shilling errands. Every apple, pepper and cucumber looks ripe and healthy. Meats were fresh and the bakery was so organized! I found everything I needed in minutes.
Bring your own baskets or bags though, theirs are not great and will Rip
One of my two places that I buy my grocery. It's is clean and staff are great. 4 star just because sometimes the checkout wait time is long because fewer lines are open
Accessible parking is insufficient. They have ONE accessible-friendly cash register and it is often closed. I should not have to BEG for a cashier to open on that register! My wheelchair does not fit down the sides of the other registers. If you have mobility issues, try the No Frills across the street or Starsky's, both of which are wheelchair-friendly. FreshCo in Binbrook and FreshCo at Upper Gage and Rymal are both wonderfully accessible, by the way!
Great FreshCo! Always very clean with lots of parking. Produce section is always fully stocked, fresh and has great deals. Lots of lactose free dairy products. This is usually my first stop when shopping because they price match.
Picked up all the items necessary for my Thanksgiving dinner and they also pricematch so download the "Flipp" app and load your grocery list for the best prices in one stop.
I only visit freshco when I've see something I need for a really good price. I hate the lay outs and they always seem to be short sucked and staffed as a franchise in general.
