I had a heat pump installed. Friel was easy to communicate with, when Matt provided the quote, I asked many questions and he was very knowledgeable. The installers were professional and kept me well updated on progress. The installation seems to have been done very well, the system has been keeping the house nice and warm so far.

We had our furnace serviced today by Friel. Steve Sprague was very professional and went above and beyond to take care of our furnace. Thank you Steve!

This is my third time trying to post a review for Friel so I will keep it brief. Had to have them over twice to find the real problem with our furnace which was blowing a fuse and turning off the furnace. Michelle was really great both times when I called explaing everything and sending technicians over quickly. Jim discovered the root of the problem by removing the main box inside the furnace and behind it a wire was touching a pipe melting the covering around the wire which in turn would blow the fuse. Jim was amazing.not only did he solve and fix a difficult problem he also came upstairs to check the humidity controller and taught me how to properly adjust it to the right level so the house wouldn't get too dry. The furnace also heats more efficiently. Wish I could give 6 stars.

We had issues right away with our “on demand” hot water system. It would take up to Two minutes for hot water. We would also have to reset the unit because the system was detecting an error code. Someone showed up and said we just need a lifestyle change. Use hot water for everything so by the time we had a shower the hot water would be ready. We started having cold showers because the system just wouldn’t heat the water. We called the company again and their phone receptionist (Michelle) was savage with us. Super aggressive and our call was definitely an inconvenience for her. Managed to get an appointment 3 days away. We then noticed the smell of gas outside an had to call Embridge gas. He picked up right away that the problem was the hot water unit Exhausting raw gas and encouraged us to get it fixed right away. So called Michelle and she was absolutely savage. Can’t believe they have this person answering their phones. We are on call if they have someone available. I don’t know if the product is any good as it’s never really worked for us and we are in a new build. The experience so far has made me regret our purchase so far. I wish we had just an old reliable hot water tank.

It was a real pleasure dealing with Friel, both on the phone and with the service tech. They were all pleasant and professional. We absolutely will be using their services in the future. The service tech was super helpful, friendly

We moved into our house 3months ago. Our tankless hot water heater was not working called and Michelle was very efficient at explaining the process of getting a new one. She did a follow up call to let me know when the unit arrived and when a technician was coming to install. Josh and Jordan did the installation. They were very friendly and professional. The clean up was amazing. It was as if they weren't even there! I would highly recommend Friel Heating. Great customer service from beginning to end. Excellent Staff!

My 20 year old central air conditioner ceased. I called Friel. The office arranged for Len to visit me to price a new Amana unit. The price was reasonable. The installation was less than a week by 2 amazing and knowledgeable technicians Luke and Anthony. Anthony returned to my house to further complete a sensor for a basement room. Both are amazing, very personable, clean job well done. I am so pleased to have Friel Heating service my high efficiency furnace and the new Amana central air. As the owner of a 5 ton geothermal, heating and air conditioning unit, we were surprised that we would need a replacement coil unit after only 13 years, after all the unit was very expensive. Friel did their best to keep the costs reasonable. On the day they came to make the replacement they tested the system one last time to try to find the leak which they said was very small, despite having all the replacement parts, they decided to try to fix the leak which was successful and saved us over $5000. I would call that gold standard for integrity.

EXCELLENT SERVICE WITH EXPERIENCED SERVICE MAN. BRIAN. HE COMPLETES THE COMPLETED INSPECTION WITH AGED FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER AND TAKES THE TIME TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT HE HAS DONE AND PERHAPS ANY UPCOMING PROBLEMS THAT MIGHT OCCUR.

I am so impressed with the fast service from Friel especially at this time of year when so many people require service for their AC unit. I called in the morning and someone was here less that 2 hours later. We did not have an emergency but I surely appreciate how quick the response was and how nice the person on the phone was. The unit was repaired no problems and the technician was very friendly and professional. All in all I am happy and cooling down.

I was very impressed with the technician sent by Friel Heating and A/C. He arrived earlier than expected and did a very complete and thorough inspection of our furnace to determine the cause of the problem. He performed many tests checking out the operating parameters of the furnace. Thanks for your prompt and professional service.

I was very happy with the service provided by Michelle (office) and Brad (repair technician). I called early last Friday morning and Michelle was able to set me up with a same day appointment. Brad arrived on time, identified and fixed the leaking furnace humidifier problem, as well as provided routine furnace maintenance (which hadn’t been done in many a year!). Brad was polite, respectful and answered all of my questions. Definitely recommend Friel to all looking for furnace /air conditioning care. Air conditioner maintenance check is next on my agenda, once warmer weather arrives!

I could not have been more impressed today with the service visit by Friel. I have experienced very inconsistent quality and follow through in furnace servicing in the past. Today, Service Rep. Mike Reid was excellent, taking the time to inform & educate me and make important suggestions regarding furnace care and future maintenance. He gave me faith in this company and was an excellent ambassador for Friel, it’s culture and it’s management team. Please send Mike Reid in the future.

The young man Josh arrived on time, prepared for the job, two, not one fireplace. He is an engaging man who worked quickly, neatly and professionaly.he was cooperative in explaining the workings of the fireplaces to me. I would recommend your services in the future.
