Friendly Fires Fireplaces & BBQs Peterborough

This place is incredibly pretentious. Dollar for dollar they are wickedly overpriced and you can get most of the same products much cheaper if you are willing to drive (not that far of a drive I may add). Their sign at the end of your parking lot has a massive screen on it which is way too bright. Driving passed it on my way to work every morning I have found it to be incredibly distracting and I'm surprised it has not caused an accident yet. I wish the township would make they take it down.
Definitely do your research and explore your options.

A big thank you to Kyle for his expert knowledge of fireplaces. Kyle came today to replace the fan in our fireplace but knew within minutes that it wasn’t installed properly. Instead of complaining about the installers he quickly fixed the wiring and had it working perfectly, all the while explaining his work as he went.

Staff was rude 2 years ago and went again today and still rude. You walk in and no one offers to help you. You feel not wanted. Nit a good look

We bought a Pearl 3600 for our cottage. Mackenzie handled the sales and answered all of our questions. The installation was on schedule and professionally done. Dan answered all of our questions on our first fire. A great experience. Highly recommended!

The name says it all. What a friendly company. Taylor Smith and Co.went above and beyond to assist me with getting my fireplace remote replacement. It is just a small part but I got a big, friendly help.

I recently purchased a Napoleon Hampton Firetable from Friendly Fires in Peterborough. I also had them do an on-site assembly, installation, and natural gas hookup. The next week I was unable to get it to work, so I contacted both Friendly Fires and Napoleon. It turns out Napoleon does not warranty labour on their products. Only parts are covered. I had Friendly Fires come to my home to replace some parts and now the firetable is working fine. Initially they wanted to charge me for the service call. After speaking to the service manager Jason Brown, he was able to waive the charge. That is great customer service and what I expected from a reputable company. Thanks again.

I bought the new paint for my Primo Oval XL, a charm, the opening is really easier. The delivery was fast even though I live on the other side of Quebec and the service is excellent.

MacKenzie was not only friendly but knowledgable about the products I was interested in. It was easy to purchase from them and easy to have stuff shipped from Ontario to BC. Fast and efficient. Did I mention the price? Exceptional! I suggest you check for yourself and you will be surprised. I don't do reviews but this place went above and beyond so I have no issues with giving it its due.

I called Friendly Fires on May 7 th. Mackenzie took my call and answered everything I needed to know about the BBQ I wanted in a friendly and professional way and she had stock.
I had try to buy it else ware starting way back in March but it never happened. Originally I had thought that I would pick it up and assemble it to avoid the $99 charge. I changed my mind and am I glad I did. I am about 1 hour from their location. The plan was for delivery on Friday 12 and that got changed to Thursday 11 th between 9: 00 and 12: 00, Henry called to confirm delivery and was here slightly after 9: 00.the BBQ was lifted on to my deck and Henry's demonstration and explanation of the BBQ was amazing and informative and I might say necessary. (It's been a long time since I bought a BBQ).
So in 2 days I got the BBQ I wanted, delivered on my deck, thanks to the efficiency of both Mackenzie and Henry.
Friendly, Knowledgeable, Efficient Service is rare in today's world but Friendly Fires has it. Totally happy. Steve

Owner and staff is wicked smart and they keep it simple for their clients. Value is definitely there and would recommend this place to anyone in need of hearth or BBQ appliances. Thank you guys!

Mackenzie told me back in July that the full cover that was part of the pizza oven deal was back ordered and they would send it to me when it came in. Its now mid November and after sending numerous emails to ask if its in and now with winter around the corner I ordered it for $300 from the oven manufacture. Very disappointed and after dealing with Friendly fires for years this will be my last. Even tried reaching out to the owner with no response back.
