It is my pleasure to comment on the experience we have had associating with Frontiers Design Build Inc.as they renovated our kitchen and powder room. In a word, they are perfectionists, committed to making sure that every detail is addressed, everything is done just right and that we are completely satisfied with their work. In addition, they, along with trades people that have their own expertise, were polite, respectful, helpful and most knowledgeable. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them to my family members and friends.

I completed a complex house build with Passive House Certification. Frontiers installed all the critical Passive House components (ie the air/vapour barriers, the windows, and the exterior insulation (5" thick). Complex detailing was required, especially at window heads/jambs and air barrier continuity to meet the strict air tightness requirements for Passive House. Frontiers were meticulous and professional. We met all our Passive House targets. I'd highly recommend them for any complex and/or high performance housing projects.

Frontiers Design Build is our goto for any and all renovation work at our house, indoors and out. The quality of work, communication, careful planning and professionalism of the Frontiers crew is second to none. We are considering a custom Passive House build in the future, when that time comes, Frontiers will be our first call.

My husband and I have just finished a 4-month long renovation project with Frontiers. They managed a big (to us) kitchen renovation, which included re-configuring the structure of our roof to add a vaulted ceiling. We were lucky enough to be introduced to Frontiers via our kitchen designer. We did shop around for contractors outside of that, but it quickly became obvious the right thing to do was to choose Frontiers.
During the planning phase of the project James was our main point of contact. The thing I appreciate most about James is that he is a straight shooter, which is the main reason we decided to choose Frontiers. He always answered our questions straight up, without any sugarcoating. He was very knowledgeable, professional, on time, and he always got back to us when he said he was going to. I never had to wonder what state the planning was in, he kept us in the loop and let us know what to expect next. He also did a really great job estimating the cost of the project, now that we're at the end we're able to see that he was as accurate as it is possible to be for a construction project.
Once the project actually started Luke was assigned as our project manager. Luke and Liam were our main crew, with some help from a rotating third and, on occasion, fourth person. Luke was an excellent project manager, to say he is great at his job would be understating it. He managed everything: from the big structural work to the most minute details of the project. He also did a lot of the work himself. Outside of answering his questions when our input was needed, we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was obvious from the first couple of weeks that we could leave the project in his hands. Liam was just as impressive, he clearly holds himself to a really high standard when it comes to the quality of his work. We were really impressed by Liam's attention to detail. I overheard his workmanship highly praised by more than one of the Frontiers trade partners.
Not only did we live through the renovation but we also both work from home. I believe it would have been unbearable had we not had the quality of crew that we did. Everyone who entered our home, be it Frontiers or their trade partners, was very respectful, smart, kind, and very good at what they did. As an added bonus, they were also really fun! Everyone was very respectful of the fact that we were living in the house: they kept the job site clean and they tried to minimize disruption to our lives as much as possible.
When you tell people you're undergoing a renovation, you often end up hearing contractor horror stories from the other side. Those conversations were always very awkward for us because all we could say was "I'm sorry to hear that, our renovation is going great and we have only good things to say about our construction crew". Morale of the story: You want to have a smooth renovation/construction project: hire this company.

Doug and his team and Frontiers managed the project start to finish and did an amazing job. Quality work, clean job site and always professional. Their team completed our entire landscaping on a new build and I would hire them back anytime for large or small projects.

We completed a large landscaping, pool, pool house project with Frontiers. From start to finish the process was smooth, professional and completed with care.
Aside from outstanding quality of work, and craftsmanship, what stood out to our family was the people at Frontiers. Having a project extend for over 6 months can be daunting, but I can’t say enough about Doug, James, Adam, and the whole team at Frontiers. They made us feel comfortable, and kept the site very clean.
The design and construction of the pool house included an interior lounge space as well as an outdoor kitchen. The pool and patio have an integrated auto safety cover that keeps the pool clean and energy efficient.
We actually miss having them around everyday, so much so we will need to find another large project for the spring!:)

The Frontiers team brings design/build to a whole other level. There designs are cutting edge while their production staff are incredibly talented. Few if any can match the broad range of services while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

We were fortunate enough to have Doug, Jeremy and the staff at Frontiers landscape our back yard and pool in 2022.
We had worked with a few well know companies recently to reno our kitchen and flooring. The experience with Frontiers was so much more enjoyable.
From the start of the project, there was a very clear plan, budget and schedule. When project got underway there was constant communication and checkin on progress, next steps, schedules and ensuring we were happy with the outcome at each step. It was clear that every detail had been considered and everything ran so smoothly. Every person on staff as well as other contracted services were prompt, professional and so helpful.
We enjoyed the process so much we are already planning another project with them this summer and I suspect more in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family or friends.
