It's a real treat when you find an Italian Bakery and Fuda Italian Bakery is no exception. They have a great selection Cakes, Pastries, Dry Goods, Frozen Goods, Deli Counter, Hot Table, the list is endless. BELLISSIMO

The custard tarts and cannolis are a must try! They are fantastic and a great price. I have to use a lot of strength to not buy all of them and stuff my face

I've only had a few things at the hot counter but it's all been amazing, with special attention to the meatballs, they are SO yummy!

Home cooked wonderful meals. There are so many choices and the price is incredibly reasonable. Yummy delicious Italian food. I go there for lunch at least three times a month and they have an incredible pizza station as well as desserts galore! This review was a five star, now down to a 2 star.
I had not visited this place in two years, due to Covid. I decided to go today for the first time after two years. Everything has changed for the worst! They used to have a beautiful buffet that you could choose from, with many choices. They would serve your food choices on real china plates with real silverware. Today, all my food was stuffed into a little plastic container. They used to give a complimentary bun with your meal and now they charge for it!? I always chose to eat my meal inside the restaurant for my lunch break. They now have few tables and give plastic, cheap cutlery. I couldn't even cut through my veal with this tiny, flimsy little knife. I hate to say it, but I will never go back. The response will be, because everything has gone up, we have had to cut costs.not buying it. Too bad! I am sure I am not the only regular that feels this way!

I've driven by this place and had no idea it is as big as it is. Who knew they have a great seating area inside to eat. I came because I heard they have great Portuguese tarts (yes I know its Italian), which unfortunately they were sold out of. I picked up a couple of desserts and they were great. Service was friendly and helpful. I cant wait to return and try some of the great food offerings they have. I'll be back soon! Update: tarts are awesome & I definitely recommend the veal sandwich! Mmmmm

Moved to simcoe county from Woodbridge and this place is a great bakery with fresh bread and pastries. Some of the Italian products are slightly more expensive compared to Woodbridge grocery stores but otherwise it's our favorite

We shop here all the time. Bakery is always fresh and really good and unique variety of items that you cannot find anywhere else.

Ordered a Lasagna for Fathers Day family lunch. Followed the directions to reheat written on receipt. Big disappointed. Very watery with little taste. Ended up throwing it out. Glad to have back up food. Would not order here again.

We ordered a lot of food for a family event. Lasagna, Penne, chicken parm, sausages, potatoes. Everything was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed the food! The quality and taste was excellent! I highly recommend!

Prices are a bit high, veal sandwiches are delicious. Cannoli's are good. Some of the younger staff didn't do the best at making cappuccinos, rather watery however most of the establishment has authentic Italian items. Giving 3 out of 5 stars for lack of authenticity in coffee beverages and prices. Overall is still an Italian bakery that has classic dishes.

I’m addicted to their meatball sandwiches and their desserts are so fresh! My favourite place to go for Italian food and desserts!

Good food, a little expensive. I ordered a veal and I expected more than one piece as they were small pieces. Next time I'll get the meatball sandwich, they looked nice and big.

Ordered a meat and veggie lasagna, chicken parm and a Greek salad. Also picked up some fresh bread while there. Absolutely delicious. Everyone was commenting how good it was. Probably the best veggie lasagna I have had. Thanks very much

Absolutely first class with any and everything Italian you want to eat in, take and cook, or make at home. Plus a helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Went for a veal sandwich. Underwhelmed to say the least. $10 and I got a single, tiny little piece of veal. Literally, it didn't even cover the entire bun surface. Essentially got a veal flavoured bun with sauce. The pastry was good, but not enough to compensate for the very disappointing lunch. Two stars was generous.

This place offers everything from a hot food table, to a deli counter and fresh pastries plus everything from olive oils, dried pasta, frozen prepared foods and iles filled with jars of peppers, artichokes, pesto etc.etc.etc.

I've been in mourning for a few years, ever since the olive ciabatta buns haven't been regularly available.

I can honestly say I wasn't too impressed with this Italian Bakery. The hot table food items were not that great. The pasta sauce was super watery and lacked flavor. A blueberry pie that costs $13 and made from canned blueberry filling was pretty disappointing. Spent over $60 for hot food and bakery items that were mediocre at best.

Awesome little shop with great imports and local baking is exceptional in quality. If you are Italian you probably already shop there. Oh yeah and the place is huge compared to how it looks from the outside!

There food is amazing. Best veal sandwich in barrie. Haven't eaten veal this good since moving away from Toronto. A+

AMAZING service and the food is just phenomenal. I have had cheese cake from Italy and different places in the world but this bakery makes some of the best and most fresh cheesecake I've ever had. All their bakery items are fresh and so good, they offer greats deals as well and their pizza is really delicious too! I go there as often as my waistband allows me too. LOVE IT. 5 stars for sure.

Food and baked good lover's paradise. I walked in to get some baked goods and wanted to walk out with the whole freaking store. If you go here carry an escape plan once you buy what you want.there is so much good stuff in here it will be hard to leave without buying it all. The cannoli I bought were outstanding. The croissants I wanted to return and buy more. The bridge being demolished makes this difficult but I'll go there regardless. SUCH GOOD FOOD.

When we first drove past this bakery we thought it was just a small little shop.until we actually stopped and when in. This place is big! The selection of meats was incredible! The smell of fresh baked goods just makes you salivate and the buns we picked up we're so fresh and soft. We also couldn't help ourselves and picked up some of their fresh baked desserts. The cupcakes just looked too good to pass up. Prices were fair and the staff was super friendly. We will be going back for sure.

A wonderful place to get at this Italian bakery. A wide array of food cuisine to choose from bulk sales in there frozen foods section. All served in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Stop in a try something, you will be glad you made the decision to try it.

Desert's are awesome dont say a dozen, ask for price, no prices shown. Other than that very tasty. Service awesome

Had the best mothers day! My son, who I haven't see in 9 months came to visit and brought the most delicious meat lasagna for our lunch that I have ever tasted. Tender thin noodles, creamy filling and lovely cheese. Hope to see him again real soon.with another treat from your bakery.

Vast choice of food items in shop- biscuits, breads, condiments, gelato, sandwiches etc. The veal sandwich had too much tomato sauce in, and the reason why I took a star off.

I have visited this bakery many times and at this visit had a Gelato treat and we bought a spaghetti dish for dinner. Soooooo many culinary delights from savery to sweet and a healthy assortment of pickled jars and preserves for your gastronomic delight. If you wanted to put together a party platter for a gathering of all sorts, it's all here. Love this place!

Lots of yummy fresh Italian breads and rolls. A quiet little cafe where an Italian speciality is served on the premises. Delicious pastries (a tad expensive but worth it for a treat. Fresh, Fresh, fresh.

I ordered a few treats (cannolis, tarts) from the bakery to be delivered to my Mom's work for Mother's Day since I live out of province. The staff were so nice over the phone coordinating it, and the goodies were DELICIOUS (says mom). Thank you for your great service!

Love the hot counter and the delicious treats. Occasionally, we've also shopped the grocery section if we've needed something. Such a well rounded place! Everything in one spot. Love it.

Lovely big store with lots more than just a bakery. Frozen foods, bakery, deli and more. I like to pick up my fresh bread here. None of that grocery store doughy bread with lots of preservatives for me. Lots of different varieties that you can have whole or sliced at the store. Deli meats are freshly sliced to the thickness you like. Frozen cabbage rolls are an easy weeknight dinner, and so tasty! Of course, a trip here is always topped off by something sweet from the baked goods counter. So many choices! And so delicious!

Fresh breads, delicious salads and tasty treats. Prices are reasonable and there's also a great variety of grocery items, frozen food plus free parking.

I ordered a about 6 different kinds of their pastries as well as some coffee. It was late in that day and I definitely recommend going earlier for more variety and fresher products. A few were absolutely delicious especially the cheesecakes. The coffee was awful.

I meet friends in this lovely place from time to time! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go to this spot frequently. The meals are of high quality, the crew is helpful and the rates are good. I like going in this place over a good meal.

Today I bought a tempered chocolate eggs with fresh fruits in fresh custard topped with fresh whipped cream for my daughter's birthday. The sight of this wonderful creation is sure to make everyone's mouth water! The taste is a true piece of heaven. Thank you for creating this amazing dessert!

I like this spot! They have good dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is well trained, I enjoy very much tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh, the attitude towards the customers is good. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

If it had real bakery hours then I would give it a 5 star. But they open late and not open on Sundays. Everything else is great. Almost like back in the city.

Ordered a dessert tray which was perfect. Nothing left over for me so I have say everyone enjoyed it. Cost was also reasonable

Paid just under $13 for this meal. It's the stuffed chicken with a side (veggies). I asked for mushrooms. I added hot sauce salt pepper butter and squeezed that lemon slice to enhance the flavor. They are not too generous with side serving sizes.

This is a top notch bakery that also has a cafeteria style food counter serving hot meals from sandwiches to full dinners. Although you line up to get your food I have never been disappointed with the servings or taste. You can get frozen food and a variety of grocery items you are unlikely to find elsewhere.

Excellent lasagne! Everything is nice and clean, and there is a lot of room to sit and enjoy the food. The ice cream is delicious as well. Everyone was courteous, friendly and attentive. When in Barrie next time, definitely coming back here.

Authentic Italian place! The grocery section carries great Italian products, the desserts are amazing. Great Italian cuisine, dine in or take out.

The service was great the atmosphere is good but the pizza that the lady made for us was out of this world the other people I hate with said that what they had was amazing too, I can't wait to try it the next time I go.

I frequent this establishment often and have to say that this place has always been a very good experience. I don't believe there's one area of the business I haven't tried - the deli counter, the pastry counter, the restaurant and the bakery side. To me, the entire business provides a fantastic product and I've yet to have a negative experience with them. The two go to items for me are the breakfast - two eggs, toast, homefries, fruit and coffee for just over $6 (taxes in) and the cannoli which are the best I've had (and Toronto is just down the road). Given my experience with the Bakery, I see myself continuing to frequent the business for some time to come and would encourage others to do the same if in Barrie.

Where else can you eat cafeteria style in Barrie? Nice olive bar (a bit pricey) decent deli and pizzas but their pastries are pretty.sweet?

Been a frequent customer for years and this is first time disappointed with service. Ordered a fuccacia to be made, girl started then took 3 other people's orders who were standing in line and still hadn't even made my order never mind got it into the oven. Walked away disappointed.

An italian place that makes you pay for parmesan cheese on your italian food? Also day old bread sold as fresh?
