Excellent Chinese food. Lots of options for everyone. Very large quantities of noodles. The beef with tomato soup is incredible. Very economical. $15-$20 per person. I recommend it.
Gluten free soup! Spoke with the owner who was understanding about gluten free, said all the soup bases have no wheat and uses rice noodles. Was delicious and had a warm bowl of yummy soup for under $20!
Been here couple times. The man (Im not sure if he is the owner or not). He is really good at customers service. I love the way they remember us and treat us. Food was really good and affordable price. Love this and highly recommend
This is my favourite place in Chinatown. Prices are fair and the food is so good. The owner is so kind and cares about his customers and always makes sure students are well fed. 1000/10
Incredibly delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. They were so kind to my children and made excellent recommendations on what we might like to eat. My kids split a platter of ribs, and my husband and I shared the curry noodle soup. It’s so much food, we were easily able to share, especially with all the fixings that come with the soup. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kensington Market district!
The lunch combo is really worth the price. The food is great and is probably one of the cheapest place you can find near downtown toronto. I would really recommend you to try this place if you like soup noodles. The service is also fantastic too!
Just a very solid, reasonably priced bowl of noodles. I’m not sure if it’s still the case but the rice noodles can be refilled for free. Every broth I’ve tried so far (original, tom yum and curry) were great. Side dishes are not bad either.
Edit September 2023: still 5/5. Tried their Basil Chicken rice dish and it was fantastic. Price is still reasonable as well. Service was excellent too.
My new go to spot for noodle soups! The broth was a perfect balance of umami and tang (tomato broth) and I absolutely loved the toppings. The complimentary salted roasted peanuts reminded me of being in China and was a wonderful snack prior to our meal. Our server was super warm and kind too
I had some kind of crispy tofu with mushrooms, and it was AMAZING! I wasn't expecting anything going to eat there, but let me tell you that I was in for a wonderful surprise. The staff who work there is amazing. Upon leaving, they give you a candy. I asked if I could have one for each of my children, and the owner (I think) gave me a huge handful of candies plus three lollipops. If ever I go back to Toronto, I'm definitely going back to this restaurant!
Had delivery, chicken rice noodles soup and fried cuttlefish balls. Both were excellent and arrived HOT! They use premium soup containers that keeps noodles separate and the soup hot, well done!
Great bowl of steaming noodles with lots of meat and veggies inside. I was barely able to finish the noodles and was completely full for less than $15. Outstanding value and will definitely return
The rice noodles and soup seems to be placed for a long time before they deliver to my table. I think the food is not fresh enough. The combination of rice noodles is also weird. I am a big fan of rice noodles and I have tried many rice noodles in many cities. But it’s my first time to see broccoli with rice noodles. The deep-fried tofu is crispy but the sauce doesn’t fit its taste. The portion of food is big and the service is good as they refill my water very often. But I was disappointed as the only delicious food was the free peanuts they gave me.
The ginseng chicken soup is bitter and smells like traditional Chinese medicine, and the service attitude of the lady wearing glasses is very, very poor.
