Harshada is an amazing physiotherapist she has the knowledge and expertise to heal the injured area. I came in with an injury to my ankle from a slip and fall incident and she has helped it heal tremendously. She is caring and honest helped answer all my questions. 100% for the service and rehabilitation. I have recommended her to my whole family and now my mom is under her care as well.

Very pleased the way I was treated during my physiotherapy treatment after my surgery with Vishal. I’ve always had a great experience here with Dr. Joe, and recently came in during my pregnancy for physiotherapy with Harshada. I found her warm and welcoming, and eager to answer all of my questions. She taught me complex concepts in a way that was easy for me to understand, as well as focused breathing and exercises to help during labour. She was also great at providing practical tips and exercises that I could do at home to strengthen my core, and potentially prevent any future concerns. Had a shoulder injury from playing hockey and was recommended to Full Function team by a friend. My Physiotherapist, Dr Vishal Patel, and the entire team at FF assessed my injury and devised a game plan that included treatment, some massage and targeted strengthening exercises. The whole team is attentive and super friendly. They also go in-depth on explaining the cause and long term affects of the injury and muscle groups and motions affected so you have a much better understanding of the "why and the how" of your injury which better equips you to train properly and avoid similar injuries in the future. I'll be going back when/if I injure myself again.

During my eight appointments after Hip Replacement Surgery, Harshada Parulekar took good care of my rehab and was very knowledge of the process and with a friendly demeanor. She provided a home exercise program. She was very professional and caring. I also found her flexible in scheduling to accommodate my needs. I saw Dr Joe for SI pain while in the area over the Christmas holidays. After seeing 4 other specialists and 2 doctors, he was the first person to explain the issue to me in detail. He truly listened to my symptoms and did an assessment. He proceeded to give me 2 treatments during the week I was in the area. I had substantial relief from his ART sessions. Although that is clearly not enough time to heal a chronic issue, it gave me hope for the first time in a while, and gave me the tools to seek out better treatment options closer to home. I will definitely be returning to this clinic when I am in the area as it was the best experience I have had in a long time! He truly wants to help you, which is hard to find these days! My experience and service was amazing. I went in for a massage with Elise and she ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire session. She treated muscle tension in my upper and lower back and educated me on after care as well. Emily at the front desk was also very kind and welcoming. I am excited to come back for my next massage!

My mom has been going to Full Function Rehab for physiotherapy after hip replacement surgery. Professional and friendly staff, clean, organized and calm environment. They figure out what’s best for each individual. My mom was treated by Vishal Patel, who is a very professional and attentive therapist. He offered great explanation of treatment and help with pinpointing problem areas as well as exercises to overcome issues. Therapists only work with one patient at a time.

I wish to thank Full Function Rehab, specifically Vishal Patel, on great work & guidance throughout my total knee replacement. My specific surgery had some early complications. Vishal helped immensely during the early physio. No it was not easy…His work & words of wisdom helped me through both the mental aspect of recovery & the demanding physio required. Had a Total Knee Replacement and working with Vishal for the last 6 weeks, I have found him to be very good at helping me. He has helped me get back on the recovery trail and has done it in a way that made me look forward to my weekly sessions with him!

Dr Joe is the best chiro out of the 5 I have been to to treat my soft tissue injuries from a car accident. Dr Joe is very knowledgeable and a highly experienced chiro.

My first appointment was fairly long as he takes his time to thoroughly evaluate and tailor a treatment plan to the patient. I’ve had significant improvement after just a few treatments which included Active Release Technique, and chiropractic adjustments.

Many people go to the chiropractor and believe they are all the same.  I realized having experienced so many chiros that this it not true. Unfortunately, the only way to find the best is to keep trying - if the one you went to is not a fit try another one - thankfully I didn’t stop looking until I found Dr. Joe!

My son suffered a concussion and was suffering from dizziness and headaches months after the initial injury. He was treated by Dr. Joe Caruana, who used massage, as well as vision, and balance exercises to alleviate his symptoms. Dealt with Dr Vishal and Dr Stefano. Both were amazing at helping me with my concussion symptoms and getting back to normal routine. Both were very good at helping me understand why we were doing certain tasks and treatments as well as giving me exercises and stretches to do at home.

I was new to the city having moved from Montreal.
I researched various places but was looking for a specific form of treatment, ART (Active Release Therapy).
With osteoarthritis and 1 hip replaced 7 years ago, the other due to be replaced within in 12 months, though I am 55, some days I walk in to the clinic feeling 75.but walking out feeling 35.

Having received treatment on my pelvis, IT band & lower back.all resulted from not wanting to slow down and keeping active with the severe osteoarthritis. Full Function rehab keeps me on the mend.

Full Function Rehab & Wellness is a great place to come to. I pulled my groin during my hockey game and came here asap. Dr John Del Col which was my doctor was fantastic. He helped me recover from my injury in no time. He is also very good because even though I wanted to go back asap he didn’t allow me until i was 100%. I would highly recommend this place and especially this doctor!

Dr. Joe worked on me for various issues I was having (shoulder, upper back, neck). He used Active Release Techniques, massage, and some traditional chiropractic techniques to get me into better working order! He really took a total approach to my issues, and I always felt good as new whenever I left the clinic. I eventually needed less work to be done, due to his great work. He seems to be specialized in athletes, but I’m pretty sure he’s adaptable to all folks, no matter their activity level. Thank you Joe for your great work!

Dr. Joe is the go-to guy in the area when it comes to concussions. Really good breadth of knowledge and application.

As for the therapist. Harshada, well that's a whole new story. If you have ever had the experience of physiotherapy, it is not fun but is an essential requirement.
Having had surgery on both shoulders the therapist sets up a routine based on a post surgery healing and movement for stretching and conditioning. The inhouse sessions are an experience as they push the boundaries of movement, sometimes to tears as they try to obtain the optimal outcome, FULL FUCTION!

To be honest, everyone from the front desk to the physio team are very friendly and professional. I also really liked the flexibility they provided for scheduling my appointment. I was in alot of pain in my lower back and neck when I called Full Function Rehab for help. They gave me an appointment the same day. The staff was friendly and helpful. I started coming to full function rehab due to a severe concussion from surfing. My wife found them through social media and the videos dr. Joe Caruana shares on instagram. I was in a desperate state before visiting with Dr. Joe. Head numbness, dizziness, and unable to drive due to the speed of the vehicle and problems with my eyes adapting. I was desperate to seek prudent advice and the right program to help ease and rectify these extreme systems. My wife called Dr. Joe and even though he is busy all day with patients he took over half an hour to speak to her and lay out a program to help with the concussion. He took me in right away and after a few visits working on neck treatment to ease stiffness to the nerves and vestibular eye therapy with cardio the extreme anxiety and dizziness began to dissipate. I'm still going through treatment but definitely 90 percent better than when I first walked in to Full function rehab. I can't reccomend dr joe enough. He is empathetic and knowledgeable when it comes to concussion rehab. Please go see him if you ever have similar symptoms. He is an expert in concussion treatment and has a program to suit and treat your needs.

We visited Dr Joe to have my son more throughly assessed to determine if he had sustained a concussion. Dr Joe was able to confirm the diagnosis after a detailed assessment and was very good at putting a program in place to help him get back to his games. Dr Joe was also very flexible with his time, making himself available on a long WE to respond to my e mails. Thanks to Dr Joe my son is back at doing what he loves.

Elise was very professional and Kindly explained other ways to maintain my back and posture. It was an excellent experience and she won’t desperately push you to come back like many places tend to do and for that reason I booked my next couple of appointments after my first visit.
