To be honest I thought it was really good, the pumpkin corn congee is a must in the fall. I also liked their shrimp and leek potstickers and tofu skin shrimp rolls. Also very unique. One improvement would be on atmosphere, the inner room has no windows

Full House feels more old school than some newer dim sum places that draw larger crowds. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The wait was nowhere near as bad as other places and they don’t spend too much in the aesthetics, which allows them to spend more resources on the food. There’s a good variety of many different type of items and everything we tried was delicious. We particularly liked the particularly liked the beef rice noodle, siu mai and the lo mai gai.

If you are looking for standard old school dim sum then this is the place to go. There are no surprises. Decor needs upgrading but dishes are classic!

First time I had a BBQ bun that as soon as lift up crumbles, then the shrimp rice roll was very sticky to my mouth. And after my auntie ate the dim sum, she had to go to the washroom 3 times in within 1 hour.

Knowing this place for ten years and it is still my go-to dim sum place, no matter where I have moved to The dishes are authentic Cantonese and they taste good for me. I love the custard cake (马拉糕)so much and always leave some space in my stomach for it. After the pandemic, I do see changes in portions or ingredients. But the quality has remained the same. Servers and managers are attentive and prompt.

Above average traditional Cantonese dim sum.
The restaurant itself is large but definitely outdated. Service is excellent.

Order for 5bl Lobster Take Out. They are cheating on me, the quantity is far more enough! Will never order it again.

In my opinion the dish we were served only could have assembled with kitchen dregs. We choose a lamb hotpot which not only smelled badly but tasted worse. Nobody at our table could eat this concoction where the soup base did not even want to be part of this dish and had separated. The rest of ingredient’s did not look appetizing at all either. I did try 2 spoonfuls to give the benefit of the doubt. It was disgusting and my grandson and I ended up with an upset stomach later. We had been told by Asian acquaintances we would not be disappointed but as stated we were. I guess they should have come with us. We did pay for the disgusting dish in total. We do frequent restaurants with authentic Asian cuisine often and have been to Hong Kong more than a few times so to be told by the management the dish was fine… they were doing their job. Sad thing is we had been there for dim sum with friends and that is why we returned with the family. Perhaps a food inspector should check out my claim.

I specially ordered two signature dishes. The steamed eggs put too much water, and the portion is huge, so I can drink enough water.

Are you looking for a hot and fresh dim sum without breaking the bank? Then give this place a try. You won't be spoiled with opulence and high-end decor. This restaurant looks tired and dated. But the most important part is the food.

We were looking for a new dim sum restaurant in the Scarborough area and came across this bustling plaza at Midland Ave and Finch Ave E. The parking lot is pretty full however there is parking in the rear as well.

The dim sum we ordered were the following:

1. Siu Mai- steamed shrimp and pork dumpling with fish roe on top
2. Fried meat dumpling "Ham Sui Gok"
3. Fried beancurd and egg plant with fish cake
4. Plain congee with bread stick
5. Beef brisket and tendon egg noodle soup $7.99

The dim sum are ordered from a menu card, and most of the items are at a flat rate of $4.68 on weekends and $4.48 Monday to Friday. Inflation has hit the restaurant industry, so I understand the increase in prices. This place has maintained their quality to price ratio.

Overall the food was tasted good and service was prompt. We will come back again to try other items on their dim sum menu.

I've only personally had Dimsum here because I heard really good reviews. I must say the Dimsum dishes here brings back memories when living downtown. The dimsum is fresh and tasteful, I'm more excited to come here another time to enjoy the rest of their menu aside from their amazing Dimsum! The staff are really nice aswell.
