Doesn't look like much from the outside. But get inside and wow! Intimate dining atmosphere and.the food is fabulous! Knowledgeable helpful staff. Ladies night out last Thursday- loved it!

The spanikopita was fabulous. My friend loved the French Onion soup, wild boar and seafood pasta. The mezo player was very disappointing. The word hummus literally means chickpea. So I was surprised that the beet hummus contained no chickpeas. It was basically beet puree. Both the beets and babaganoush were far too sweet. Inedible.
Atmosphere was amazing

This is a true hidden gem. The service is incredible and attentive but wow - the food! We started with the crab cake and fries. Delicious. I opted for a feature dish of the lobster Mac and cheese and without question - THE BEST lobster Mac I’ve ever had. This place is a must try! As I will be trying again and again.

Positives: My wife and I "shared" a wonderful dinner a few nights ago. We first shared the beet salad - fabulous assortment and presentation was beautiful (photo attached). If I could give it 6 stars, I would. We shared the venison entree with lemon potatoes & vegetables and it was also very good. For dessert, we shared the Toblerone cheesecake and it was as one expects - tasty & sweet. We are seniors so sharing is a way to cut costs. Even with sharing (we also shared a large cider as a before dinner drink), the cost with tip was $110. Expensive but fine dining. Negatives: The art on the walls was disappointing. I sat at a table facing the road with nothing to look at except occasional traffic. The Howell Road cider lacked the flavour one expects from a cider but we appreciate that Fume support a local cider producer.

We had dinner at Fume for a friend’s birthday on April 14,2023. Arrived for 545 pm and enjoyed a glass of wine while waiting for our party. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and the menu, making some good suggestions. We started with the parmigiana fries for the table and they were amazing. I had the ravioli and my companions had burgers and a chicken entree. All the food looked amazing and tasted fantastic. Plates were cleared quickly and efficiently and glasses refilled regularly. The atmosphere was airy and light but quite loud. It was great fun to watch the bartender shaking fancy drinks.

My only complaint was that I let the server know it was our friend’s birthday while she was in the bathroom and while she wished her a happy birthday when the bills were brought, there was no offer of a dessert for her. The table behind us had a dessert, a sparkler and a song for their birthday.

We’ve been to this restaurant for birthdays before and always enjoy it. We will be back:)

We had the crab croquette and boar belly appetizers which were both delicious. The beers available and cocktails were fabulous. Our mains, the scallops and fish tacos were perfect. And the cheesecake for dessert was amazing. Great service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Came here for an anniversary date night with my husband and the food was delicious! I tried the duck and he had the fish special. I think prices are fair for the quality of food and the service was great.

I’ve been twice and both times were amazing. Everything was perfect. Very good portion sizes, and so good you don’t want to stop eating. I also had white wine sangria, and blueberry lemon cheese cake for dessert and I wasn’t disappointed. Fume has quickly become my favourite restaurant.

Enjoyed a rare dinner out on a Saturday night and EVERYTHING was astonishingly delicious! Our first time there. Atmosphere is wonderful; transporting. The Greek salad to begin is memorable for something so simple. Will have a hard time passing on this every time I come back! We chose the dinner special: curried risotto with blackened fish, think it was catfish. Every item on the plate was exceptionally prepared and belonged. Every forkful was a taste adventure. The curried risotto was al dente, which is how it is served in Italy: perfection.

A late lunch for 3 on a quiet Thursday. We were greeted at the door and were ushered to our table without delay. The server was welcoming and quick to ascertain our wishes.

This was our second trip to this restaurant and the menu offered us some previous favorites and some new selections of the day.
Chicken souvlaki for guest1, Tomato Basil and Buffalo Mozzarella Ravioli for guest 2, and Tempeh Mushroom bourguignon for myself.

Paired the lunch with a nice glass of wine, and savoured our delicious food.

A lovely lunch, attentive service, and a very comfortable ambience.

Will definitely be back!

Food order was misplaced took over an hour for food.they offered dessert or special coffee for the mishap

The Garlic Brie was addictive and the Seafood Pasta was amazing. In my opinion the best Restaurant in Brantford!

WOW is all I can say! From the amazing winelist (unique offerings), to the outstanding food to the great ambience! I had the scallops and risotto. WOW! Great job guys!

So, no one took any photos… probably the most photogenic food I’ve seen in a very long while, and no one took any photos. I assure it was gorgeous, and equally delicious, we were all just so excited to eat it!
But at least I took a picture of the weird coffee mug ‍️

Definitely an interesting spot. Why? Its quite literally in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, but don't let that stop you from heading in. The vibe inside is awesome, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. The food was *unreal* and despite having a limited menu of beer and brews, what they had was absolutely solid. The food was so good that I scarfed it down before I could get a photo of it! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My husband and I had a lovely anniversary lunch at Fume. What a wonderful hidden gem! Our server, Chelsea, was super attentive and friendly. As it was nearing the end of the lunch hour, the restaurant wasn't super busy, but there was a variety of tables for different types of gathering. This would be a great evening atmosphere! The menu options all sounded fantastic and we had a hard time choosing. We started with the crab croquette and the beets, which were both delicious and beautifully presented. My husband had the shrimp po'boy, which was a lunch special that day, and said it was fantastic. After seeing someone else order the burger, I tried it myself with truffle fries. It was perfectly cooked, with unique garnishes that paired together really well. We each also had specialty cocktails - not too sweet. Our only regret is not saving room for dessert. This trendy and refined restaurant will become our new go-to in Brantford!

The crab cakes were spoiled. The waiter admitted it. This resulted in terrible food poisoning.

We were a party of 9 for my husbands 50th. We are new to the area. Service and food was 100%! Great menu choices (we are veggies), tasty drinks and wonderful hip environment. New fav in Brantford!

I had the pulled pork tacos, except for the veggies on top, there was no zip to the pork, boring. The taco shells were approx 4 inches round, very small, and soaking wet, could not pick up to eat, fork and knife was necessary. The restaurant looks very cool inside, service was a little over the top, actually annoying, you know when a server is so smiley and phoney, just keep it real people, just show you care about serving us, being so over happy doesn't fly with me. Food was blah, service was just ok, and this place came highly recommended, doubt I will be back. And I spent $48! What?

Such a pleasant surprise! An excellent meal served by our wonderful waitress Angelika. We had such a nice evening we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
