Although they couldn't take us into the escape room, and the rollercoaster was closed for maintenance, we had fun playing laser tag and a few VR games. Spending time (and money!) is easy here.

This family entertainment center, once a delightful destination for my children, has sadly declined in quality and affordability. The majority of the games, requiring an excessive 10 credits each, offer less than 20 seconds of play. While some games cost a slightly lower 8 credits, several demand an exorbitant 18 credits.

The play gym was particularly disappointing. It appeared neglected, with a noticeable layer of dust everywhere except the play areas. The visual uncleanliness was off-putting. The air cannons, a potential highlight, were undermined by the inaccessibility of most balls, confined to out-of-bounds areas.

The roller coaster, a significant attraction, was unavailable due to maintenance and, along with bumper cars and the play area, demanded an unreasonable 35 credits each.

The redemption of tickets was another point of disillusionment. After spending $60, my child’s 160 tickets could only procure minimal and underwhelming rewards: a single chocolate coin, a chocolate Santa, and five small fruit candies, each half the size of a tiny tootsie roll.

The staff’s demeanor was largely dispirited, save for one cheerful individual. This lack of enthusiasm contributed to the overall disappointing experience.

Regrettably, I am compelled to reconsider future visits to this establishment for family outings.

This past week we had our fifth group event there with teenagers, (35 of them) and our team as always found it be a perfect way to spend a few hours; great activities onsite, at a reasonable price. Food is greasy good - and the service, excellent. The took on our food order like champs and the food is reasonably priced to boot. A shout out to the management who make it a welcoming and safe space - and there name doesn't lie, it's fun for all ages.

It was incredibly loud and very expensive. Be prepared to spend a lot of credits per activity.

$15 buys you 40 credits. The SpongeBob game, for example, was 25 credits per play.

Went to funhaven with my sister looking for a fun time and ended up riding the crazy 8s ride, lots of fun! Then we asked the attendant what the ride adjacent to it was, and he explained that it was a Virtual Reality ride. We proceeded to ride the ride a total of 5 times! Aden was the attendant. He was so much fun. So friendly and charismatic and really made a lot of suspense in terms of the virtual reality game. We would ask him what to expect and he would say wait to see, which I thought was so cutesy. Towards the end of the night, my sister lost her wallet and he helped us look for it and we ended up finding it! My sister ended up giving him a hug because she was so happy:). He is a very good man and so adorable. Thank u Aden for this experience! Also, thank you to the prize station lady too. Very friendly and outgoing. Didn’t get her name but she has short curly hair. Thanks to both of u guys for an incredible night.

PS, Aden if your reading this, we’re the sisters that were chanting ENCORE ENCORE and kept calling u Aden the Pookie! We love youuu! KING ADEN!

I went on the roller coster and one kid did not know what he was doing so I was stuck on the coaster for 10mins and half of the claw machines are Rigged and everything is so many credits

Crowded on a long weekend, limited food options, but the place has a lot of options for games and other activities.
To get your car loaded with credits, it would take a while.
Good fun and enjoyable place.
Not so expensive, well organized.

Ce n’est pu du tout ce que c’était avant, nous sommes tellement déçu! Les prix sont rendu si cher. En plus ils ont refusé nos 6passes familiales qu’on avait reçu en cadeau car ils ont changé de propriétaire durant le covid. Vraiment dommage qu’il ne nous aille pas offert une alternative!

Was fun but also felt like a rip off. Games were double charging us credits and they are 10 - 15 credits a piece now, they use to be like 4. Probably won't be back because of being ripped off of credits for every game we played.

Great staff, fun and friendly environment. Very quick to answer and questions. Held my sons 11 birthday party #Funhaven and highly recommend.

Due to covid, the place wasn't very busy, it's too bad though because this is a great place to visit with kids.

Great arcade place to take your kids. You will find a game for any age. Food was excellent and the prices are fair. Will come back again next time we in Ottawa.

Not a fan of the open concept birthday party on the second floor. Would prefer private rooms. Not ideal for young kids.

I am not one to complain especially during Covid but unfortunately it was a terrible experience for our family. We arrived and was told we had to check in and we would have to wait because they were full. 1 1/2 hours later we finally got in.

This was not the issue for me, the issue was we witnessed many other people just walk in without the staff ever noticing.

Ok so they've reduced the number of people allowed in the same time. Good! But they say they do a disinfection every 30 minutes but they don't. I was there for 2hours taking a good look around and NO ONE was disinfecting! Sadly.
So, I took it upon myself to protect my kids.

We held a birthday party and everything was already set up for us. Amazing staff and very family friendly. I went on the rollercoaster and it's actually very fun for all ages!

I had my nephews over for a night and called ahead to ensure what the covid polices were. After dealing with very friendly staff, I arrive with the kids. Only to see an entire family (6 members) blatantly not caring about the policies. Not wearing masks at all and not using sanitizer. I approached an employee to share my concerns as I found it unsettling how everyone else was wearing masks but this family. The employee said "I'll get someone to talk to them. " Then vanished.no one talked to that family. So I kept myself and my nephews far from them and had the boys use the sanitizer regularly. Also the employee said on the phone that they have staff to clean every station, yet I saw no one cleaning anything.
I'm highly disturbed how I was lied to about their covid policies. They don't care about masks or sanitization. I did my part to ensure the boys stayed safe during our visit. But they lost my business after that. They are not taking covid-19 seriously and it shows. Highly disappointed.

No respect for covid distance and not enough hand sanitizer for such a small place. The staff do not clean after customers use of equipments. The jungle was very ordinary and the exchange of points was a joke.

This place was magical. That guy named Kevin is a wonderful host. He hooked us up with delicious food even though we just ate. 10/10 would recommend.

Extremely fun place to go, and definitely will be going back! Ticket payouts are not that great which is the only reason I am rating 4 starts instead of 5. I payed for $50 worth of credits and was barely given any tickets. Now full disclosure, I guess that may have been my fault. Food is cheap, and alcohol is as well. Food is exactly what you would expect from an arcade, nothing great, but not bad.

I went this week, and although the games were fun, I was very disappointed by their safety measures. There were signs saying masks were required, but sadly there were many people who I saw constantly removing their masks while playing games, to talk to the phone, etc. Many children (ages ~6 to 12) seemed to have no masks at all. The staff clearly saw, but didn’t do anything to enforce the mask policy.

There were several hand sanitizer dispensers, but two that I tried were empty. There was no paper towel in the bathrooms either to dry your hands after washing.

Overall I felt angry, because it’s businesses like this that are contributing to the spread of COVID and further lockdowns. I would not return, and would not recommend others to visit here during the pandemic.

EDIT (based on owner’s response) : I of course acknowledge there are individuals with medical exceptions; however, these are rare. Forgive me for having a hard time to believe that a dozen people from various households all had medical exemptions and happened to all be in Funhaven at the exact same time. In the hour I was there I saw many children running around playing without masks and parents wearing masks on their chin (below the mouth and nose). Not once did I see any staff member try to enforce the mask policy, even though mask-less kids were running around them.

Went at 3pm on a Monday and practically had the place to ourselves. My 3 year old loved every second of the games and the jungle gym. Only downside to a quiet Funhaven is having nobody to bump into with the bumper cars.

I've been going there for a month recently and a few of their same games are still out of order. Does it take that long to fix a game? If I'm paying to enjoy games then they should all be running properly.

Fine place to have a little arcade fun. Came here on a week day so not a lot of people here. Staffs are nice. Some of the utilities seems closed, maybe because not enough people to play, weekends are definitely gonna be busy. Anyway pretty nice place to have some fun.

I took my daughter for her eighth birthday. To quote her "it was the best birthday ever! " We had a great time. There is a variety of attractions and we did them all. The escape rooms, the roller coaster and laser tag were all big hits. The venue was very clean and the staff was amazing. It will definitely be a new birthday tradition.

Attente extérieure plus de 45 minutes car il semblait que le maximum permis était atteint mais quand, ce qui semble être le boss, est venu, et qu'il nous a fait entrer, visiblement la capacitmaximale n'était pas atteinte.
Sur la montagne russe, le préposé nettoyant avec bcp de soins mais cela n'a pas été nécessairement observé partout.
240 crédits (50$) ont permis à mes enfanta de jouer 2hrs de temps (incluant un tour de montagne russe (assez le fun) et une session d'autos tamponneuses)
Les membres du personnel étaient gentils mais "sur le plancher" peu présents

Love this place we been going once a week with my respite worker and we have loads of fun especially the roller coaster is a big hit for me and the games are super fun love love love it

Years ago they had many issues with the large majority of games not working and terrible support. Over the past few years they've recently improved. Most of the games are new now and they've completely changed their system to be digital on cards. Much better setup and I've now switched to a 5-star. Such dramatic changes from before - we now love to go here and go at least once a month with our kids. Great time and lots of fun!

Expensive, taking account of the fact that some machines were not working, and the laser frenzy was out of order as well. Very disappointed about that, when we came in it advertised as if it was working. Staff were very nice and place was clean.

Fun Haven more like Scam Haven!

Pros:
- The kids liked it (they didn't know the price)

Cons:
- 20$ for 5 minutes in escape room
- 17$ for 2 little cups of frozen yogurt (It tasted really bad)
- Games are rigged, Ex: There was this motorcycle race game and you just can't finish 1st the game just spawns another player next to you so you're always 2nd

Just did the deep descent room. The puzzles were very well thought out, great atmosphere, and the staff was amazing.

J'y suis allé avec mon garcon de 2 ans et ma nièce de 13 ans. Les montagnes russes ne fonctionnaient pas, plusieurs arcades étaient brisées. Dans le manège pour les plus petits: La jungle, tous les canons à air pour lancer des balles étaient brisés.

Je comprends que nous n'avons pas à payer pour les plus petits mais il pourrait augmenter la manutention des appariels.

Très décevant, je n'y retournerai pas.

The escape rooms are so well done! Some of the best thematic rooms I've done and the puzzles were challenging without being too crazy. Everything flowed nicely.

Every time we go to this place my kids have a blast. They're aged 9 and 2 and there are games and activities that both kids excitedly run towards! The cantina is a little pricey but we always have a 5 star experience. There are games and activities for adults as well.

Good place to take kids to have fun but last time we went they were under staffed although we were a large group of 50 + kids and we had a reservation, I had to ask several times for the roller-coaster and waited more than 25 min for someone to come to operate the game.

My daughter always has a good time. Was there once when firefighters forced us all out (back room gas leak detector was going off I think) and the staff engaged the kids outside and brought us hot chocolate.

We have been to Funhaven many times but the last visit was not a great experience. Many of the arcade games were out of service. Laser Frenzy would not keep an accurate score. You could walk through the beams with no effect. Laser Tag was disappointing as my kids and my wife and I were the only ones in the game. Not much fun. The food court was absolutely awful. The fries were reheated. The pop was flat. There were no utensils and only a little bit of condiments. Don't think we will be going back, but I don't think they will be in business much longer anyway.

How disappointing to see this place with litterally half of the machines out of order.compared to previous years, it looks like each year, more and more machines become out of order without being repaired or replaced, and the whole place looks like it's falling in ruins: - (It is sad because until a couple of years ago, it used to be a great place for spending family time (and money, lol, but it's okay, when we have a decent choice of working machines).

The personnel is very helpful and nice though, very professional, hence the 2 "stars" rating. But globally, with all the machines out of order and getting visibly old, this last experience was really disappointing.

I did an escape room (Ripple Creek) with 4 friends and we had an amazing time. We have done escape rooms before and this was one of (if not the) best rooms I have done. Tons of fun!

Had my son's birthday party here. It was a blast! Everyone had a great time. The hostess assigned to us was great. Considering how busy the place was, we didn't suffer a single glitch.
The food was typical party fair.pizzas, etc, but everyone went back for seconds.
The loot bags for the kids was a great touch.

Dear friends with kids.
We went to funhaven last Wednesday with 4 kids. Little one started a fever Thursday night into saturday. Sunday morning she was full blown hand foot and mouth covered in blisters. Today 3 out if 4 children who were with us have confirmed with the same thing.
DO NOT bring your children there. When I phoned I was told the floors were cleaned nightly.which doesn't account for the rest of the building.
(I never leave my house so 100% sure we got it there)

This place need to have Adults managing. For the money we spent we should not have to wait around because the place was woefully not staffed. If you intend to succeed, you better smarten up an make the experience worth the money being spent. Just keeping it real.

Awesome place for kids. They never want to leave. Perfect for birthday parties as you get help and they do most of the work for you. A lot less stress for parents.

First of all. Nico was a straight up beauty from the second we walked in. I haven’t seen customer service like this in a long time! Genuinely enjoys his job and takes pride in it! Well done sir!

Spent today here at Funhaven and I have zero complaints, the only line ups that got a little tedious were when we first lined up at the entrance. All staff has been very polite and courteous. One game was broken they were quick to reimburse and a tech went straight to the game to fix. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Lots of fun! My 12 and 8 year old had a blast! Will definitely return. Recommend the funnest package!

So fun! We came with a group of 5 and found the room challenging but also really engaging! Super happy with our experience, will be coming back to try out other rooms.

Besides alot of games being out of order we had a great time. I think the staff here are exceptional! They are alot of fun for the kids and always helpful.

Half the machines were broken or did not work what is the use of going to something like funhaven when it is not even fun.hashtag the name. My friend and I were so bored we just stayed at the milk jug toss because it was the only machine that was working and was fun. There were other games that were working but were child games. If you want to go waste your time and money go here. I think the owner should close funhaven down until all the repairs are done.

I usually enjoy bringing my kids here but lately it seems that things are slightly going down hill, there doesn't seem to be as many games to chose from as there was before. Really hope that they get their stuff back together soon.

Just left fun haven tonight, awesome place! The staff was very accommodating and made it an enjoyable experience. Nico went above and beyond to make this night unforgettable. 5 star rating for this level of customer service.

It's my birthday today and Nico went above and beyond to ensure I had a great birthday at Fun Haven. The kitchen staff was a little unwelcoming but Nico was sure to step us and accommodate us.
