Absolutely ridiculous interaction with this place. 5 emails checking on my order, kept being pushed out 2 weeks. No information offered for the delay. Never offered anything to make their screw up better. Still waiting on my couch 2 months after their initial delivery date.

Curtious staff and comparable prices.
Look for Annette. She guided us from taking correct measurements, possible layouts, and color combinations, and ensured everything was under our budget. There was an issue in the chaise, unlike our previous experience with big box stores. She took it back right away and had a fresh chaise made for us. Highly recommend!

Worst customer experience ever! Buyer beware. Ordered couch beginning of May. Did not receive confirmation of delivery date. Had to follow up. Was told would be 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went, no couch or contact. Emailed again. Told it was another 3 weeks. Asked if this was guaranteed. They confirmed yes. Again 3 weeks came and went. I followed up again. Told would be 2 more weeks. Fed up I asked for refund. Now they will not respond to my emails. So now I have no couch and no refund. Do not buy from here.

I recently purchased a futon for my small space/L shaped entrance and I must say this experience was an big improvement from my previous experience at The Brick. Anett was my sales person. She took the time to listen to all my requirements plus budget. She went above and beyond to help me since my old couch was already gone. My order came the following week and the assembly was easy enough for me to do on my own (minus adding the arms). Pictures coming soon, once I get assistance to add the arms on

The retail salesperson at the Furniture Depot store in Brampton was great. The Furniture Depot delivery system is unlike any other. The delivery guys were courteous and efficient in setting up our order and took away all the wrappings. I will shop at Furniture Depot again.

I ordered a sofa and stool from Furniture Depot. Annette not only helped me get the right discount, but was very active when the delivery failed. The issue was resolved within minutes and he made sure I had great customer service. Worst “company” I’ve ever dealt with. The Furniture Depot is a scam, do NOT buy anything from them. They will take your money immediately and will ignore you for months. If you email them, they will take between 2 to 4 weeks to answer. If you are fortunate enough, they will send you a copy-past generic email telling you that “we are waiting on the manufacturer. ” They will NOT answer their phone and will NOT deliver your order. I placed an order with Furniture Depot on April 24,2022, and as of August 22,2022, they are still ignoring me with no delivery date.

Do not do business with Furniture Depot EVER. You will lose your time and money; they are a fraud.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff without being pushy at all! Qaise helped our vision come to life! We showed her things we liked and didn't like, talked about our space and home decor and she picked the PERFECT fabrics wood selections to lead us to our dream furniture set up. Needed a new mattress set right away. The showroom is open and a lot of selections to choose from. Rachel was great, cmvery well informed and able to answer all of my questions. Easy financing. The worst online experience possible by a company. Be aware that anything you order on line from this company. It’s a different department and the quality for their on line product is garbage. When I called the store I was told it’s not us even though my online order came with their address. They don’t care how much money you have spent in store so obviously they don’t value their customers just their money. I was then told the product is not made to last and I should not have ordered on line. Because I opened the box I can’t return it. Of course I had to open it my couch came in two boxes which we had to put together, another clue the product is garbage. We have spent a lot of money in store and I was told “I should not have ordered on line it won’t last” I will never step foot in your store or order anything ever on line from this company. I will also be telling people I know not to shop here either so they don’t get stuck with something they aren’t happy with like we are stuck with a couch we hate.

This company is awful. I ordered in 2020, I received a damaged nightstand after 2 months after 8 months calling, sending email they called me back 2 months ago, that the order is ready now they schedule every week but nothing being delivered.
I am going to sue them if anybody agrees please leave a message here to sue them together.

In a word. BRUTAL. This organization is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. They ignore emails, don't respond to voice mail, say one thing and do another, and basically can't deliver on any commitment they make. By way of analogy, they make dealing with Bell seem delightful and like the best experience ever.

Loved this stores furniture collection. We walked around the entire store and no one was on the floor to help us. We could’ve probably walked out with free furniture and they wouldnt even notice. Oh and they also don’t pick up their phone, which is why we didn’t go with them. Imagine we placed an order and we wanted to inquire for its status.

I've ordered furtiture two years ago still haven't received it. Everytime I call they say it will be in stock and then it ends up not being there. It's been th worse shopping experience I've ever had. I've paid lots of money and still haven't received my items. If you think your getting your furtiture think again because you might end up waiting a very looong time!

HORRIBLE! If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Ordered leather sofas last June, after 6 months the recliner broke, tried emailing, calling, no body answered. I ended up visiting the store to complain twice before somebody finally tried to help. Emailed back and forth a few times, they asked for pictures of the broken recliner and then radio silence. I’ve emailed multiple times since then and again no response. Would not recommend this place at all! They are quick to take your money and then want nothing to do with you. Horrible service.

Never order from Furniture Depot.

Customer service is non-existent. Non-existent.

We ordered a sofa 5 months ago and were told it would be 3 weeks delivery time. When that date passed with no sofa, we called customer service. They told us it would be another 2 weeks. We were told this every 2 weeks for the last 5 months. Nobody was willing to give us a straight answer.

Worse, the online customer chat service is never staffed. We only get a reply using the online chat function about 10% of the time. All of our emails to customer support have been ignored. There is no point in even trying to contact them, they simply ignore you.

Finally, last week the sofa was ready for delivery but despite their earlier assurances, the delivery company they contracted refused to bring the item up to our condo. They want to leave a 180lbs sofa on the sidewalk. We are still fighting with them to try and get our sofa and have it brought up to our unit.

Be aware. Never buy anything from Furniture Depot or Waymor (same company). Worst customer service experience of my life.

They are really good and responsive up until they take your money. I understand due to Covid they are behind in orders due to demand but my order has been in their warehouse and they have scheduled 2 delivery dates with no show. I wasn't even within the free delivery area and paid $150 plus tax for delivery. When they don't show up on delivery day they don't even call you to reschedule. Guess I'll be on the phone chasing again.tomorrow.very disappointed.

Update - I did get my furniture and they did come through in the end. The furniture is great quality. Prices were really good for what I got. I would likely chance using them again but with knowledge that there maybe delays.

This is the worst furniture store out there. Their lack of customer service can not even be comprehended. The quality of the products they sell are first over priced and garbage. I purchased an bedroom set In February and received part of it in August which was broken and still yet to be replaced. What they tried to do instead is send repair guy to glue my brand new dresser and paint it over. After patiently waiting for 8 months I can not even get a return phone call regarding the delivery and replacement of my set which I have paid in full for. They do not deserve not even a 1 star but I have to select something in order to post. WORST PLACE EVER.

Edit: Company contacted me today, cancelled my order & refunded me the cost of my order. Thank you Furniture Depot for calling me and allowing me to voice my concerns and offering full refund. Employee I spoke with today was very helpful and understanding.

I ordered 5 Centiar Upholstered Counterstool's from Furniture Depot and never did receive my order. I have contacted the company multiple times and haven't gotten a response. It has been over 2 months. Awful company and awful customer service. Stay away from this company!

Didn't had good experience with Furniture Depot. Not only delivery was late, the sofa we ordered came without cushions. We followed up with store customer care and sales rep (Annette) but they ignored/ didn't attend to our follow ups. And now to top it all, the sofa is already creaking within 2 months. Avoid this place unless you're desperate!

I wish I could give them a negative zero. I ordered a bed on September 2 and still to date I have not received any update regarding my order from anyone until I called to cancel. I was told I had to wait for over 2 weeks because the manager was in the hospital with kidney stones problems (TMI). The next day I got a call from a lady saying that if I still wanted the delivery I would have to pay $246 to get delivery outside of the GTA when at the time of purchase delivery said $0. Then when I requested to cancel my order I had to pay a restocking fee of 25% for a bed that was on sale to begin with which totalled $246.12
If you're looking for a sure way to get scammed this is the place to come.

They are good at taking orders but not executing it. I am highly disappointed with their customer service - no one attend to phone call when following up with the order, no one replies to the emails and the worst part is they don't even attend you respectfully when you go to the showroom after placing the order. They said that the order will be completed in 3 -4 weeks but was not completed even after 12 weeks. My husband went to the store twice to make the payment but he had to come back without making the payment as no one took the payment and when the order got ready they wont ship my order. Such a disappointing customer service.

This place a fraud. They sell you used furniture even though you order new. They didn’t refund me my money and instead gave store credit. When I tried to use the store credit they said it expires in 3 months. They never told me about it. DO NOT SHOP HERE ELSE YOUR IN FOR A LONG HEADACHE.

I ordered a sofa bed from Furniture Depot during a Black Friday sale in November 2020. I just received my order this week, in August 2021. I understand delays due to COVID, but there was no communication. I had to continuously contact them for updates. When I finally asked for a refund, I was instead offered a replacement couch which was 30 inches bigger than my original order and would never have worked for me. I just decided to wait it out and thankfully got the couch I wanted.

I had paid the charge for delivery and setup when I originally ordered. I live alone and knew I wouldn't be able to set it up myself. Apparently, setup only means putting the bed in at the factory. It was not unboxed or have legs installed, which I am now struggling to do on my own.

While the couch itself is great and is what I ordered, the lack of communication means I will definitely not recommend purchasing from this store.

Don't waste your time and money. The Furniture depot are very dishonest and unfulfilled they do not meet the delivery time. They have changed the day of delivery three times, they notify me in two weeks and if I do not order my order they do not notify of the delay and they do not apologize. I have requested a refund of my money and they don’t do that, they tell me that “if I want it now, I must make an extra payment”. I feel abused, mocked and robbed. I never thought this would happen in Canada.

Despite the bad reviews I decided to give this company a try. On June 21 I made my very first order from Furniture Depot. I ordered an ottoman and a sofa. A few days later I called and asked when I should expect my order. I was told 2-3 weeks.

I contacted them again today July 5th, first through chat and asked for my order status. I was informed two more weeks. So I told the customer support agent if that’s the case I would like a refund and asked for a number to call to make the request. She did not respond. I stayed on the chat for few more minutes and still no response. I figured it was because I requested for a refund. Very unprofessional.

So I decided to look for the number and call. An agent answered and I told her I would like to request for a refund.

After giving her my order number she immediately told me my order is ready. I asked how long I need to wait she said one week. I told her that’s not what I was told and want a refund. She then told me they have my ottoman ready and waiting for my sofa. Why tell me my order is ready then tell me only half of my order is ready? I told her I’d like a refund. She said its a matter of waiting within the week. I said I still want a refund. She told me I’d have to pay 25% of the restocking fee. I asked how much. I can’t remember the exact amount but it’s over $200. I was shocked. That’s more than what I paid for the ottoman. How can they charge me over $200 in restocking fee when they literally only have the ottoman? That doesn’t make any sense.

If I get my order by next week then I’ll update review. But it doesn’t change the dishonesty within the company. I’d rather pay a little extra elsewhere and get my order faster. If you need your order in less than 2/3 weeks, you’re better off shopping elsewhere.

I just want to write a quick review for Furniture Depot, I have bought online a few times from them and have had exceptional service! I did have some delays this time around but I expected them due to COVID-19, I read some reviews and they make it seem like everything is normal in the world? We are living in uncertain times and we should have some patience and understanding. This is definitely a company that’s been around for a long time and they stand behind there products and deal with top not manufacturers. They are a Canadian company and ship out of there Toronto warehouse. I definitely would recommend them!

I bought master furniture and King size mattress. The king size mattress comes with 10 year warranty.after couple of years the mattress surface went down 2 inches left and right side. As per warranty requirement it should be go down at least 1 inches. Back in Feb-2020 I raised my concerented and sent picture which shows the mattress surface went down quite a beat. Due to Covid19 and lockdown i didn't get response. I started to follow up again when the province of ontario reopening the businesses. After having 6 back & forth email and 10 call till today (22-Sep) the mattress vendor haven't visited for inspection nor the Furniture depot is willing to replace the mattress.

Be careful about their warranty commitment before you buy any item.

Horrible store, horrible customer service. Worst place in Brampton to buy furniture. Expect to wait months on end for any furniture delivery and expect your delivery late at night. You can pretty much rely on all these negative reviews as they are all accurate. Cathy in customer service either doesn't know what she's doing or doesn't care. Joe the "manager" doesn't manage anything. They never call you back with information and always have a pile of excuses. Maybe they should learn how to treat customers so they don't have such poor reviews.

I ordered a boxspring mattress from this company. They continuously pushed back my delivery date and made up random excuses to why they no longer could deliver. It was difficult to get a hold of them. I don't usually do reviews, but the customer service was so terrible from Furniture Depot that I made an exception. Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I was very impressed with Furniture Depot from the beginning to the end. My daughters sofa was fantastic value. They answered my queries straight away (well ASAP), kept me informed of my delivery. I would definitely recommend this seller.
